For me, not so much into avocado when it is mixed this way. Although a lot of my Filipino friends really love this! This video is just another raw day filled with moments from our Philippines beach home in Cateel, Davao Oriental. Rain suddenly came, but then the sun arrived, and the boys surfed while the fisherman did some local style fishing! Province life is always unique and positive vibes for us. After a little bit of cooking, and a beautiful beach run...
Jandee finally puts together this simple and refreshing avocado snack! Although I am not into it...

i love it kulas when you said at the end of the video that we don't need to like everything (foods in a certain country) , but we could respect it, learn to be around it, and adapt to it.

Avocado is so versatile as a fruit… it. can be eaten as it is, as a desert like what Jundee made, as part of a salad like how Kulas wants it, or as a dip / dressing like guacamole. These all taste good!
How I wish I had gone to the southern part of the Philippines. Didn’t realize how beautiful it is until I saw your vlogs. Thank you for showing that part of the country.

Avocado mixed with milk and coconut cream (tuno) makes a good ice candy (oh, I miss ice candies). And mango, buko, durian, and other fruits. Come May, there will be so many fruits. And flowers too (that is why Flores de Mayo is held at this time).

Frozen sweetened fruit avocado with cream and condensed milk is called the level up of the “ice candy” avocado flavor...it is otherwise known as homemade avocado ice cream....

Yes, you are not a Filipino if you haven't tasted that "avocado smoothie - hand made / Sweetened Avocado". I love this actually. You guys make me crave of that right now. Kulas, we had the same reaction when I also saw a RUclipsr in America wherein he put the sliced avocado into his plate and paired it with fish. That time, I only new that avocado can only be eaten with sugar and milk (just like an avocado shake) 😂😂😂

Mashed Avocado with condensed milk then keep it in the fridge for a few hours...omg it's the best! It's my childhood favorite dessert. My Dad and I used to eat that all the time. We had a huge avocado tree before. 🥑👍
I thought it was a Filipino thing regarding the sweet avocado up until a South African girl i worked with before told me they have their avocados sweet as well with sugar. Just like the Filipinos do. Honey would be a good substitute though 😉

Name of that treat is Avocado lamaw. But it can also be made with kaimito(star apple, i think)
Right Kulas, here in the US, I was surprised when avocado is used for salad! Because it’s creamy, that’s why Asian dishes use it for desserts!

Filipino explained to me (thanks Luz) that avocado is a pear so therefore it is sweet so therefore it should have evaporated milk added, ohh and thanks Layette regarding sweet potatoes made into fries……. Dipped into sugar and not sprinkled with salt

I too notice Filipino’s likes sweet in some of their dishes that would be opposite of a regular dish, like their spaghetti sauce is sweet when it’s normally tomato saucy ..
Spaghetti for kids that's why is sweet and also they put milk and ketchup. And the tomato sauce tastes sweet too.

You can make anything with the avocado . From instance popsicle sticks, salad , shake and most of guacamole. 😃

Kulas.... i just remembered... you said you suck at surfing, but you are good at snow boarding... and i remember you and Therine in Boracay saying you would like to try KITE BOARDING or KITE SURFING in the future... i guess the perfect time is now, and the perfect place to start and learn in there in Miracle 9... you have the whole beach... the wind is good there... and you are strapped to the board just like in snow boarding... you and the boys will definitely crush it!... or start with WIND SURFING or SAIL BOARDING first to get the feel of the wind and how to control it...
