- The new map is OUT!! Watch as I explore the new prison map for the very first time! I went into this completely blind and it's terrifying! I love the new map!! Phasmophobia just has so much potential! I can't wait to see the new ghost and evidence type as well as other new maps! Hope you are as excited as I am!!! Much love and see you during the streams!

Why can’t there be a mechanic where we can remove the ghost with different tools depending on the type. If you don’t do the correct tool, it will remain on an endless hunt killing players until no one is alive but only one door of the building is unlocked to the outside which players could escape.

Honestly, though, I'd prefer quality over quantity. People say the same about every game that doesn't have an update every goddamn week, yet plenty indies are still going strong.
I feel like it's more of a new generation thing to just go with trends and stop playing games once people stop talking about them. My boyfriend and I play this together to this day and it's a lot of fun even though I'm terrified to death! I really miss it when legit gamers would play games without just hopping onto trends. This guy is pretty awesome still doing vids of it though. I've never seen him before but he seems like a cool guy

Imagine if you lose sanity you’ll start to see shadows moving outside of windows that other players can’t see
Or you start seeing glimpses of shadows of the prisoners that have like hung themselves in their cells, or been stabbed in the showers or something, would be sick :D

Prison's way better than asylum, if for no other reason that it has signs for those of us who get lost easily.
The only reason why I don't play asylum is solely because I have lack of direction. Got lost there once and took a full 1hr to be un-lost for me.. :( Sanity was at 12% when I got out.
Though the Prison is just Medium Size, so it's more of an counterpart to Highschool. I wonder how big the next map will be if the medium map is already a chonker like this lol

Looking at the fire alarm switch (22:23) I had a thought...
What if you or the ghost could activate the fire alarm? There could be emergency lights that flicker on and off even if the breaker is off, giving you some light, but the alarm would drown out any noises that could give any information. Plus, who hasn't been jumpscared by a fire alarm?
I really love the ambience of this map, especially the creaking from the jail cells and the super large rooms that ghosts can spawn in
the white stuff is ghost event mist. If it appears early it's a sign of a banshee, shade or demon.
If it hits you the hey or breathing down your neck sound plays.
This map is sick! I really want a more outdoorsy man, like an amusement park, for example. That'd be insane!

My friends and I did the Prison map for the first time earlier today. Our first ghost on Prison was named Thomas Thomas.
There should be a DLC where you play as the "ghost removal team" aka ghostbusters
As great as the idea is, I think it’s too much for one person to handle.

I love whenever gamers hear or see realistic or immersive stuff in video games, they instinctively explore and enjoy everything in front of them, like a child discovering a new sound or feeling.
It's just so purely entertaining.
I just finished playing a couple of sessions on prison, it's so good and unlike highschool or asylum is actually scary (it's not just a big rectangle with long hallways). Super excited for the future of the game

The ghastly fog is a new feature, I think. I could clearly see it flying up the stairs on the Grafton farmhouse map. There are also new ghost sounds, like e.g kid's laugh etc.
I’ve seen it in the game long before prison had been added. I’m not sure exactly causes it but many of the ghosts have the smokey form as well as their physical and shadow form. I’ve only seen it on highschool and on one of the farm houses.
I've seen it on a few maps months ago but not sure what it is and it doesnt seem to have anything to do with the ghost location as I've seen them just around the houses with no reason.
@@halolasomaster3900 I was playing again today and it seems like it also does that when it’s going to jump scare you
there is a fog that follows you whenever the ghost is going to "breathe" in your ear. you can see it come at you, and outrun it even; at times it has not successfully breathed at me because i ran away from the fog. also, the ghost may apparate but not in its full form. i have seen ghosts apparate as fog-like apparitions to turn off lights and such. they'll float across the room - it's kind of hard to notice but really cool anyway

I've been getting caught up with the newer vids and it really made me nostalgic for the older ones. I remember when prison was first released (even though I wasn't watching you at that point). At 3 minutes in, this was already exactly what I was hoping for

Oh man, this map was even creepier than I realized. I missed this part of the stream (glad I at least caught the hype train later though!) and I'm glad you posted it so quickly. I'm so stoked to get to play this game soon, this map is genuinely terrifying.

The fact that its your first time and you still aced the map is really impressive. Although, I wish we could have seen more of the cells near the railings. I think the reason the truck is so far is partially to make the walk back in even harder mentally as well as separating team mates as much as possible. 🙃

If we can get a new ghost model and a new feature where if you angry the ghost, it will talk full sentences instead of one word, it would be one of the best updates ever

Not sure if it's been said elsewhere or not, but the ghosts can also have a "frost breath" like if it's freezing near you. Have had plenty of ghosts approach me - and I saw the breath - and then did their hiss or whatever at me when they got to me. I've used it to help locate them, much like how you can see their footprints sometimes.

Wouldn't it be cool if they added an Abandoned Hospital for a large map? Along with two new ghost models. A disfigured patient that crawls on the floor with broken legs and a bloody nurse twitching and wielding a large needle? That'd be... spoopy

I was so hyped but dude i hate walking from building to van.
I was hoping the candles would have flickering flames, possibly something later maybe... this is actually a pretty fun map, and i love how the lighting and stuff changed so far. This dev has impressed me once again.

i've got like only demons, banshees and revenants like wtf and i didn't even die once the map is scsry af but after playing on it longer i think it's quite easy to run away from ghosts on this map

Game idea: 4 people and 1 dangerous escaped prisoner. You have to find the cuffs and certain items, survive so he doesn't kill you all first- and cuff him. Make the prisoner playable with his own tasks - ie like cutting the power, finding the code to the front gate-

Insane difficulty can be fun, 2-5 ghost same map. but they at mosty in one room unless they hunt. and you are might only given one name.

This was a very nice run (also a demon ghost run). It feels like the phasmophobia back in day 1 where we got scared to the unknown (except that we already know the stuffs already and what the ghost looks like). It would be nice if there's a torture/interrogation room in that map.

The ambient noises makes it so much spookier I love it. Although, I wished they played less often and more randomly it's still a pretty nice detail.
