One of my favorite things about this part of the story is how Isayama plays with the concept of freedom. Eren has fought so hard for it, even to the point of committing these atrocities, yet ultimately he's no less a slave than Ymir was when it comes to what he feels he has to do to achieve that freedom. The visage of young Eren standing expressionless next to Ymir in the paths is a very chilling representation of this, especially contrasted with the young Eren we see at the beginning who finally feels free standing above everything as the founding titan. Just very nice visual storytelling.
i loved this reaction. you can tell how deeply you feel for the cast. i feel the same emotions for this piece of media and again, genuinely enjoyed this watch!

I gotta admit I didn't like the ending at first, but after a few months, I started realizing how brilliant it is. Maybe it'll be like that for other people
I can’t remember a show that invoked the kind of emotion i went through seeing Hange give her heart to the cause. I’m glad I was home by myself so no one had to see me ugly cry while screaming no at my TV. I think what also hurts is that again Levi has to watch someone else he cares about die.
