Would love to see A video that follows each one of your Family members for a day . A day in the life of Laura Hughes, (mom)A-Day in the life of Ramsey Hughes(son) A Day in the life of Roxie Hughes and so on. I find all of you very interesting. From the oldest to the youngest. By the way I found diesel Dave from your channel. He gets up in the morning and looks for a new challenge. Your entire life is a challenge. You have a lot more going for you then broken down machinery flat tires and dead batteries. We are out here praying for your prosperity to go along with the beautiful and positive people you’re raising.
Tell us more about your operation. How you are dealing with the drought, what you are doing with the cows to get them through it? How many head do you run? Where are you getting your hay? It's fun to see the differences in operations, and it's fun to see that some things are all the same.
@@anchorbrandranch We raise irrigated corn and have a little over 100 mother cows. We background our calves until January, then sell them to a local feed lot. We run the cows on cornstalks until calving time. We put the weaned calves in the feed lot and feed them ground hay and silage. We just got done with harvest and now it is time to get the calves weaned and vaccinated.
@@nebraskafarmer9015 Cool ! I have driven through the Midwest but never done anything out there. We raise cattle on BIG chunks of federal land out here then background in the feed lot in the fall on ALL purchased feed. Then most calves go in load lots out to your country
Did I miss it? Where's the belt link? Each round had a belt link. I have found many WWII .30, .50, and 20 mm shells, bullets, and belt links, in the CA Mojave Desert. I donated all to a museum except for one. On my desk is a fired 20 mm shell with an undamaged bullet (painted blue which means it is an inert practice round) I found elsewhere.
That's the way to haul hay 😆 do it like an 🇦🇺 Aussie. Dry looking dirt out there. A lot falls from the skies out there, just hope those China man don't start it up again as we've upset them a little. Take care guys. James. 🇦🇺
When my son got his first centerfire rifle I kept the case from his first shot and drilled a couple holes in the neck and put a key ring in for him to have it, he still carries it years later. Hope they are not shooting at cows, lol.
If you want an easy way to make those shells shine after you clean them up, cover them with ketchup, let them sit a few hours, then wipe them off with a dry, rough towel
Your microphone is about shot on whatever you are using. Everything sounds scratchy. It's not the wind, though it's worse when it is windy. I have a good sound system with four subs and multiple mid range and tweeters. Might be time to next level it and go for a better camera/mic system. Of just sound scratchy. Heavy D sent us here.
Great video Anchor Somebody out there testing some different grain strengths maybe Big ammo for sure I used to roof a bunch of the warehouses in LA area Get leak calls we'd go out and a lot of times find bullet lead had pierced the roofs My Boss had like a pickle jar full of lead from roofs😳
I don’t care for the sound effects, I just don’t need the distraction. Thanks for the video.

Thanks so much Betty🙏🐂⚓️🇺🇸
sure makes me remember my child hood in Wyoming 1956. Seems my butt hurt a little, its was all fun. I love your life style and your family.
I love the interaction you have with your kids. Thank you again as your videos make me smile, every time!
Jovi woke up this morning and said she wanted to “watch more cowboy shows” I think you have a new fan 😊
Putting pressure on!
Now I gotta get to work on some good stuff.
You are blessed with a wonderful family.
Yep for sure!
You can definitely make a few brass hammers and punches with those.
Cool finds on your place out there! The history part of it has me curious.

Yessir well be doing just that!
Thanks for watching!
What type of agriculture are you doing out where you are?

Great video Ramzi
Question what are you going to do with all of the 50 and 20mm shells?
Nice wrench collection.
You spotting those shells is like a friend of mine that finds arrow heads on his dads ranch!
I used to hunt arrow heads when I was a kid on the Arizona strip
Seems like there’s more shells than grass. 😁 beautiful country
How long ago did they use what is now your land as a practice range?
This is my first video to watch on your channel and I love it. I am from the HEAVYD channel, just sub. and GOD Bless your and your family.
Thanks for coming over here !
Hope you enjoy
Please do us a favor and thank heavy D
@@anchorbrandranch well do
Nice idea on the oil barrels.
That’s pretty awesome watching that kid learn rigging when the tilted forks caused the little near miss
What are y’all up to ?
You should come down here and help us run this place
It’s pretty cool
Lots of stuff to do
Wow that’s cool 😎
What a difference.
God bless you and your family and your farm. 🙋🏻♀️🇺🇸♥️
Better to be lucky than good. Got er done.
Kinda looks like the movie Tremors was shot there...good stuff

No Jan I missed it
I found the link promised to show it then haven’t gotten around it. Wonder why we find tons of shells but only one link
The link is to a 50 cal
Do the 20mm have links too?

When was the ranch first settled and the Air Force and Navy stopped using it as a target range?
Really enjoyed the video!!!
Where do all the old shells come from ?
Seems like a tough place to raise cattle. What was the motivation?
More like desperation than motivation 😂
That’s a fun thing to do while you fill water
Found a 20 mm shell on a sheep hunt near Mercury a few year back
You guys ever find the projectiles? The bullets
None yet but there must be lots in the ground
If you want an easy way to make those shells shine after you clean them up, cover them with ketchup, let them sit a few hours, then wipe them off with a dry, rough towel
you should auction those off or put a link to them on eBay.
Am surprised you didn't find any metal machine belt links. Any historical evidence of an aerial gunnery target range in that area?
I finally found one of those metal links the other day⚓️
Land may have been a range for plains to test fire there guns
Another video good morning

I do EVERYTHING on my iPhone
I just got a dead cat microphone thing for it .
Will that help?
Have not used it yet

Sure is
Not my idea of target practice out on the farm or ranch
Not for me
Could sell the brass.
Can you do a video of “which kids looks like which parent?”
