  • If you're having issues with the coffee maker stopping after only producing a small amount of coffee then beeping, it may just be air caught in the tubes. Hope this helps! & Yes it is fully sanitized before and after this method lol

You're not silly. You're Brilliant! Thank you. Mouth to mouth resuscitation for the coffee maker was a win. Good thing...because my wife would have had to give it to me if I don't have my coffee. Thank you!

You’re a lifesaver!!! My husband was 2.5 seconds from throwing my coffee maker in the trash out of frustration for the 5 beeps 😅 Now we don’t have to dish out money for a whole new machine !!

This is the one true fix video!!!
You Rock! This really fixed the 5 beeps of death! I did as you suggested.
Just remove water tank, I left the caraf and started blowing as hard as I could through the valve where the water tank connects. After a couple of minutes blowing, just put it back together and it works! And without opening the machine! Thank you thank you thank you 😊

I love that you called it the 5 beeps of death 😂 because that’s literally how you feel every time it happens and you don’t know why. Gonna try this. Thanks for the extra confidence of resuscitation and resurrection power 😇

The flow meter detects reduced flow signaling the maker to do the five beeps. I went through six videos and cleaned the house and the scale off in three different ways. It worked for a week before the beep came back. I told Ninja on Twitter about it, and others did, too. Template response. Treated you like a generic customer and not a person. If they would've responded on Twitter with real solutions, I'd have stuck with it, but when the beep came back after a week, I said, "Okay, that's it." I later bought an Aeropress for $30 and it makes better coffee, faster (as fast as you can get hot water), quieter, and you can take it anywhere. That said, thanks for the video, Kelsey. It helped.

Well, here I am with the same issue. I've had my machine for almost 3 years with no issues till now. The dreaded clean light wouldn't turn off, and it wouldn't brew a full cup of coffee anymore. Naturally I come to internet looking for a fix but nothing is working... till I find this! I was fully prepared to tear my machine apart, and then I tried this. I figured why not. Sure as shit this works awesome. I felt a little silly blowing my own coffee maker, but it did the trick! Thanks for the helpfull video!

I was going to manually blow this tube clear when I decided to do one last check of various techniques to solve this under fill issue. Came across this video and said "broke is broke let's see what it will do". The answer is , it worked. Ran another cleaning cycle. It completed a full pot. A test brew ran perfectly. And now I'm waiting to see it my brew later will work in the morning.

This worked!! Ninja told me that it's 5 years old and basically hit its end of life and nothing can be done. I don't accept that; the thing still runs perfectly well except that it's shutting itself off. BLOWING IN THE TUBE LIKE YOU SUGGESTED FIXED IT IMMEDIATELY. I cannot stress enough that you just saved me well over $100 on a new cappuccino machine!

I'd watched two other how-to's and assumed I had a calcium build up in the coil...well I didn't, it was actually spotless. That's when I tried this thinking what the heck. Three days and many a cup later and I haven't heard the Five Beeps since! Such a simple solution!!! Thank you Kelsey!!

Having gone through the effort of taking the machine apart, going through tech support, this is the one thing that fully reset the machine for me. I'd read through all documentation and the only explanation given was poor water flow for the error, but the moment you said air bubble it was like a lightbulb. Give it a shot if you have this error, though if I get it enough I'll be buying an aquarium siphon so it won't be quite as manual. Thanks!

I admit I had an excellent laugh at thr solution and I will most certainly be trying it because I agree, its too pricey a machine to risk taking it a part and really getting ruined by human error.
For reference, my drip started as soon as I topped off the water tank. I have been able to make coffee and was able to drain the tank completely prior to doing the fix. I also did not have beeps. So I am fully in belief I have gotten air into the line perhaps from filling the tank to fast.
