- We travel from Pennsylvania to Michigan with a series of retail deliveries in Jackson, Lansing, and Kalamazoo ending up in Indianapolis. The truck starts to show some signs of coolant issues which delay the trip. Don't miss this trucking trip!

I used to work at the truck stop you were at in Peru, Indiana. It was 1973-1974. I was a junior in high school outside Bunker Hill, which was across the highway from Grissom Air Force Base. The government closed the base and turned it into a prison.
I LOVE buffets! Especially Chinese buffets. (Grew up in CA and born in FL. So what is the Indiana connecttion?).
When I delivered drywall to Lowes, they would always let the company trucks offload ahead of me. Wasted much of my time. Drivers told me not to pull flatbeds. Now I know why. Still love your videos!

You were in my neck of the woods, I l was shopping at that Sears behind Panera Bread Friday night. So I know who the customer was! You were in Jackson should have got a Cony Island in the mall next to Sears.
In a prev vid Old red Jack mentioned he didn't like nor cared for McDonald's food. Perhaps he folds under questioning. 🤔👍🇺🇸
When you were in peru, thrre used to be a really good diner there where the mcdonalds is. Its sad to see alot of those hood diners get bought out by fast food companies. My dad lives in peru so i go there some times. Its not a very big town at all. Its like the rest of this state, covered by soy bean or corn fields. Im starting my cdl traning in a couple of weeks. Im really excited about it. I hope i do good. Happy trucking jack! Maybe ill get to meet you on the road one day!
I use to live in Jackson, Mi from late 69 to mid 73, Your stop in Jackson looked so familiar cause the first shopping center on the left you turned in front of look like the same place where my dad managed a FW Woolworth store at.
The "leak" could also be a head gasket. Most likely the leak could be into the combustion chamber. Where it is burned away and expelled out the exhaust.

Use to hate multiple stops espically in shopping centers as it is so hard to get in and around the little islands and trees AND, yes the 4 wheelers.
On the ohio turn pike it's the only highway in Ohio that allows 3 trailered trucks

The confusing rule is left turn on red. In some states, if you are in a one way street at an intersection with a one way street, you can turn left on red

your round about my area today down here in Dayton Ohio. But i'm getting ready to start at Swift Trans. and i know eww... swift. Im getting my CDIP and to swift driving school. But i wanted to know with all the government regulation on trucking. Is OO still a profitable Business to get into. No im not going to do the lease program through swift. Thanks for the feed back when ever you get the chance
It can still be a profitable business if you haul for the right carrier or get your own authority.

Great vid Jack. Sounds like a head gasket but your oil should be milky. Merry xmas and a happy newyear. Is your exhaust blowing white smoke.
Not if its being burned. But it does sound like a head gasket. Go to a cummins shop where all they do is cummins engines. Head gasket replacement runs around $5000. Had mine done last February.

How menu pallets fits in that trailers?? In our here in Sweden it fits 36 pallets and in my truck fits 18 pallets and my trailer 30 so it's total 48 pallets. I load from the side 3 at time. Thanks for funny and interesting movies.

(You might consider the Easy Pass for the northeast tollroads, so much faster...and their charge is about 1/2 the normal fee. Just a thought.) Take care!

Albert, I keep as little food on the truck as possible so I don't snack on it all day. You always pay attention to the details, I like that!

Ahh yes Michigan the worst roads around. We have so many pot holes some of the insurance company's are starting to cover tie rods and struts!! That's for real.

I'm glad you have a fond attachment to my beloved Michigan. Just days ago I lamented seeing Indiana Jack and Old Red driving on highways in my 'backyard'. I'm in Grand Rapids since forever, but I did get to see you on roads that are quite familiar. You are by far the best reality TV I've seen.

What's the reference to 2 minutes at the fuel island?
I get many messages from people asking that so I referenced it. Many drivers spend way too much time parked at the fuel island going to the bathroom, going to Denny's, taking a shower, shopping, and chatting with the clerks.
