Back in 2004 I lived in Thailand and made a killing selling grade A replica Lacoste shirts online. I do NOT do this anymore, I was young and naive but I knew straightaway which shirt was genuine and which shirt was fake here. If you ever need a 2nd opinion if your item is fake or not, please feel free to hit me up.
Genuine lacoste shirts do not need to have both labels to the neck andrea..... Best and quickest way to tell if genuine or not is look for the red coloured size numbers and inside wash label should always read "devanlay" or "basi s.a" in a light silk feel wash label material, Genuine lacoste shirts do have a few different neck labels but the blue check shirt you have is the type of label you will see more on most lacoste shirts out an about, Red size numbers will always be found on a genuine shirt
@Andea ,please put your tongue on the buttons genuine lacoste button are cold on the tongue ! try it easiest way to check ! also levi jeans easy to check .reverse stud on jeans at top are crystal clear with numbers ,if you cant work out what they say or they are not clear .then fake .
Its unfortunate you didn't know beforehand that one was fake and one was real but...if you knew then you wouldn't have done this video for us. So thanks for sharing this with us
Would you do a video on keeping your ebay fee's down as I thought they toke them automatically but as by chance today I found out they invoice you monthly or if possible a video on putting fees on to be taken automatically if possible Love your videos there big helps
Very good video, curious to know if the buttons on the fake shirt have Lacoste on them. Also how would you go about reselling the fake shirt, would you just describe it as a mens shirt without mentioning the brand?
Ian Hunt No, they are plain. I’ll just redonate the fake shirt. You can’t sell anything fake on eBay. Even if I didn’t describe it as Lacoste it would be flagged up.
would the charity shop be liable for prosecution for selling fake goods ?.always wondered this as ive seen loads of obviously fake clothing for sale.it would seem harsh to be prosecuted over an item that soneone has donated but as the saying goes 'ignorance is no excuse '.just wondered.
Hey there! Do you know anything about when the Lacoste logo may have been blue? I found a shirt with a blue Lacoste logo on it and I am 97% sure the shirt is legit and have seen some people online say how the blue logo is 'vintage' but hard to find solid information, do you have any advice?
Both are fake. Lacoste is all I wear
