@@joeysarvermusic4899 yup, it was a fun show, I was literally one of the only front ensemble kids of 12 kids :/ (there was 3 of us that year.) Had to play 3-4 instruments that year, fun, but kinda chaotic. Now are band is going to shit due to lackluster management, poor communication, a percussion instructor hired due to nepotism of dating the color guard director, that has no actual professional experience with music, and shits on any other professional behind their back besides the Texas bands (he was a Tech major.) who only works for pure money, and wastes 80% of the lessons with redundant practice, and him + one of the other teachers liking to throw children under the bus for their problems and mismanagement, and laughing at other’s suffering. I’m so glad that I’m graduating this year, and that show was my sophomore year, but damn, this band is going to shit (the directors arn’t bad, there some of the best in the area, it’s just the fact that they haven’t communicated well, and they choose bad cards to use, especially since our first percussion instructor had to leave due to finding a gig in Dallas, and the one before him leaving due to needing to finish out his music degree.) So much shit has gone down since this show, and I do hope the band gets better, but I worry I cashed in too early..
