The rally bug is here to stay😆 Great run! When I saw that clipless body I was so ready to mod my rally over to it. But then I remembered I raised my body from the stock level. Everyone, including me cowered for clipless bodies but here is the sacrifice.
Good video, commentary and content. Nice run. Looks good and performs nicely. I actually like listening to the RC’s run in their natural sound and environment. So, thanks for natural sounds. I just had my Mini Maxx in the snow and it was fun. Thanks for sharing Jason. ⭐️🏁🏁⭐️
Just picked up a set of Dumonts today from HobbyTown for my new slash ultimate. I guess I’ll try them out on the Rally VXL too. It’s convenient when the two the same platform.
my solution: install the brace, but Traxxas #6562 on the brace and install the receiver box on top of the new mount works great, now you have the brace installed and enough room for motor and esc.
Stock tires in the Rally VXL are 100mm. Short course tires are 105mm which is why they will rub. I built a sand/snow Slash with a buggy body and it keeps the body from getting packed with sand/ snow and there is no rubbing with the Dumont paddle tires.
Half my on road cars are rally cars , but there is no way i will pay £450 uk pounds for a lightweight crappy plastic Traxxas . I got my HPI WR8's for £420 a piece , and my Hoboa Hyper GT Rallys for £358 a piece . Also my LC racing rally cars only cost £200 a piece . Traxxas ? , nah , sorry i just won't waste £450 on what is essentially expensive plastic Traxxas trash , Traxxas crappy plastic ain't worth £200 , nevermind £450 🤔 🙄 🤣🤣🤣 .
Anytime I want a new Traxxas, I buy the parts and build it myself. Much cheaper and I don't have to throw away the garbage parts that come with the RTR version.
It doesn’t matter your age rc cars bring a smile to your face especially the big ones

Love your content Jason! You have inspired me to finally start my own channel. I’ve wanted to for years. Great work bud! 🙏
That's it, I'm sold on a Rally!
I love the sound of paddling RC’s
It sounds like a duck when you turn while you’re slowing down 😂

Sounded like subaru driving the snowy roads

Put the car outside for a few hours before you run it in the snow. It helps big time to keep snow from sticking to it
Nice!!
Sick tires I have this car may try this
nice video
When you gonna show that Hoboa VTE?
What ramp is that ?
Wanted to mention my Rlaarlo Terminator was performing way better in the snow with paddles f&r vs front ribbed & paddles rear
I asked before: the CEN or the HPI for a first rally car?
Great videos as usual.
Thank you.
I like the cen puma if that helps any
HPI for me.
