Your welcome for the parts & thanks for the shout out, not been doing much with the channel lately due to work commitments but will hopefully be getting back into it soon. Glad you made good use out of them, they look great 👍 cant wait to see your UDR in action.
Also stripped all the diffs, smashed the body up, broke the front off the chassis, drove wood screws here there, and everywhere, ripped Freddy’s hard off 😂 And broke the steering………yep 😂 Sorry 😆
You can clearly see the smearing. I think I saw it still hadn't dried under one of the tires yet. It's OK to do an honest video, still would have been cool.
Don't. Wash. Any. RC. Truck. With. Water. Aside from the body- but even though it is waterproof- I do NOT recommend spraying water onto any RC! It rusts a lot more things out- and probably would've saved you some money. The BODY can be washed with water- but nothing electronic, do I recommend washing with water.
If you dry the car properly and spray it with GT85/WD40 it will be fine…(note) IF done with care! 👀 Personally my favourite way is with an airline, but did you see the state of that car? Ha! Yes water can be VERY damaging to an RC….if clean without correct processes afterwards.
😆😅😂🤣The title killed me!!! Look at this barn find, Grandpa only blasted around the corn fields chasing cows on Sundays with her, let's see if we can bring her back to life!
i love the udr, i had the losi super baja rey and super rock rey, lots of screws isn't there 😟😃 great job rebuilding that awesome machine 👌😎 can't wait to see it run 👌😃😃😃👍👍👍👍
Wow, must be super lucky to just find an abandoned $1000 RC laying around. Why can't I get so lucky? I take care of my RC's and while a lot of mine can be more or less considered shelf queens and mostly to collect with, I have a few dedicated bashers that I totally abuse the heck out of.
I do like these rebuild videos, my only negative is the cost involved with all the new parts, also there really isn't much left of the actual car that was found which makes it slightly pointless, never the less great video pal
Yeah the cost is a bit…..ahh! 😂😂 Honestly there is still a lot of original parts on the car! The cage, body, wheels, motor, Freddy, and Elton 😂 I do see what you mean though 👍🏻 Cheers dude!!
This looks like the worst example of neglect to an UDR I have one and love it. It is quite well upgraded, and I drive it totally different to my bashers, but most of my collection is in the vein of the UDR 5th scale gas Trophy Trucks, Class 1 and Ultra 4 buggies in 6th and 7th scale, you could say I am obsessed by America offroad racing and vehicles should have left the UK and moved to the US to feed my obsession lol, mine is way more upgraded than this. does the ESC fan work with the zip ties in the fan.. One question did you get the plug adapter in the UK as I have found only ones from the US with stupidly expensive shipping and I am unable to get them 3D printed in the UK.
Yep, it was in pretty bad shape when I found it 😆😳 yeah, unfortunately you can only seem to get them from US! 😞 does take a while, and bloody expensive!! Is worth it though mate 👍🏻
The UDR is only 5 years old. It can be rebuilt easily as all the parts are readily available. OE and aftermarket. And that's one of the best condition UDRs I've seen. Is this supposed to be a Talbot parody?
As I showed in the video yes the Udr can be fixed. You class this as ‘good condition’? Your poor cars! 😂 Don’t remember Kevin ever resorting a destroyed UDR?

Yeah, difficult to find the time isn’t it! Best of luck 🤜 no worries at all!! Hope we see you soon! 😁
10:36 Time for some new safety glasses perhaps? What a fun project! Who just leaves an $800 RC to waste?
@@spencertidd haha! I like them!!
Such a nice rig 💯 Thanks mate!
hell yeah dude an actual RC barn find, and it's a f-in UDR!! congrats
I know!! Did cost me a little, but 100% worth it! What a car!!
You covered it in mud, like a day before you filmed??
Also stripped all the diffs, smashed the body up, broke the front off the chassis, drove wood screws here there, and everywhere, ripped Freddy’s hard off 😂 And broke the steering………yep 😂
Sorry 😆
@TobyTeagan ouuuhhhhh did i touched a sensible nerve? If it's the case, i'm sorry!
😂 I’m deeply hurt yes 😆

Next video: Replacing bearings in my ULTIMATE UDR.
@@spike-- 😂 there’s only about 4 original bearings, so should be fine for now 😂👍🏻
@TobyTeagan 🍻
I’ve never bought a traxxas but I do have a 2wd stampede and a emaxx.
Ive had a few, they’re generally really good cars!! Emaxx? They’re quite rare aren’t they??
@ kinda of. Mine was the dual motor two speed brushed but I converted to single motor 6s with original 2 speed trans and Losi front and rear diffs.
@Djkommode oh wow! That’s sounds wicked!!
@TobyTeagan old employee gave it to me because he didn’t run rc and it was sitting in his garage.
Trying? You are doing it friend, not trying. People who try do not do anything, they still be like "I'm Trying" years later.
Haha! Good point 😆👍🏻
