Super cool I think the best part is that since it comes with both zombie mode cards and hero mode cards I can mix new stuff with the heros resistance version of the game till I get X-men resistance
You most certainly can! I've run some of the Super Heroes stuff using the base zombies from Undead or Alive and the mechanics still work. The Hero Missions are in the Core rulebook too.

@@commandershepard9920 ... sort of all in? I can tell you that we went all the way. Yes, it was expensive - yes the shipping to Aus was nuts... but there's resale value here and the game is fun. Really enjoying it so far.
@@hpgamingau Yeah, I went all in, and even got a couple of extra boxes with the sentinels - which in hindsight I might sell, but I thought it would be cool to run extra sentinels in a game. Glad you're enjoying it! I'm new to Zombicide; I hear it's just very simple dice chucker, but I still liked the gameplay from what I saw. And the variety is great!

Thank you for the unboxing! I would recommend putting "A zombicide game" in the tags or even in the title, because searching for "Marvel Zombies" it is kind of impossible to find anything regarding the board game, between all the regular content.

It seems weird that the cards for other game modes are in that box. Isn’t that a waste of money and something that would better serve in an expansion box?
I thought that too, but the Zombie supers for the other game mode, (where the zombies in this box spawn as bad guys) are in the x-men resistance box - so while there’s no real duplicate printing - it’s a gimmick to push people to go all in - which we did!!!
@@hpgamingau, isn’t the X-Men resistance only X-men characters? As I understand it, those cards will only work with people who got the Kickstarter. Surely CMON isn’t evil enough to produce cards in the core box that *only* work with the Kickstarter exclusives.
I just double checked, the X-Men core box only comes with X-Men characters and villains. The Marvel, basically avengers (zombie mode) core box comes with just the avengers type characters. So either A: your core box is Kickstarter specific and has the other cards that you will eventually need when you get the marching minis. And retail boxes won’t have it. Or B: CMON puts all of the cards that need Kickstarter exclusive minis in the box to push FOMO Or C: They expect people to switch the play modes and just have the wrong minis.
@@AcevedoDMA Yep, I've had a look at KS vs Retail Cores. The Core at Retail doesn't have the Supers as player cards. Your mentioning above at point A is correct. :)

Any idea when this might hit shelves in Australia? Unfortunately I never got a chance to back it.

Are the details on the hero minis easy to see? I worry with the plastic being brighter, you lose details naturally :/ Otherwise, looks great!
