Have you tried the 2 expansions yet if so what is your opinion?
Were can u buy this bundle
@@thehangerheads7520 your best bet would be to reach out to Awaken Realms direct. While the Story Dice campaign has well and truly closed you might be able to tag on to the Heroes & Companions campaign. gamefound.com/en/projects/awaken-realms/ar-vault-heroes-companions?ref=explore-creator-page
I just bought this version of the game at my local used bookstore. I was so overwhelmed by everything. The packaging was already opened but the game itself wasn’t used. (Characters haven’t been punched out yet.) Thanks for the unboxing video, it lets me see how things were originally packaged and organized and also lets me know my game came with every piece!
Not a problem at all, WW, and great to see that your copy is going to get the love it deserves. The Shivers is a GREAT game - and can be a gateway for younger players into the realms of roleplaying games. I know my junior gamers have loved playing through and searching for the clues. We can't wait for the expansions to come out in the new year! Thanks for watching!
it’s my sister’s 14th birthday today 😊😊😊😊😊
@LewisMerchant-h7v well please wish her a very happy birthday from all of us!! 🎂
Oh that's such a cool Advent Calender! ❤💫
@@Ur.Fav.Lily12 these are always awesome! QWorkshop always pull out all the stops for their dice calendars. And I’m loving the gingerbread Christmas set for this year!
Jealous!!!!
@@Arcturus_luv I mean, this IS my third one of these… always awesome.
Good review of the content i'm waiting right now my all in gameplay
@@n1kiv3ntu41 are you still waiting? Did you get the Kickstarter or did you order from the website? Ps, thanks for the kudos!
I'm sorry that no one has commented. I love this video. You did a great job. I am hoping to pick this game up this weekend. Definitely want to get the collectors edition.
@@TheNakedBlade thank you! Someone always has to be the first! It’s an awesome abstract kind of game. The new one (fantasy setting) looked interesting too. I will say the bling from the collector’s edition was well worth it. Happy gaming!!
"When is level 4 tho?"
This is only Level 1! Level 4 is when Ol' Bruce makes an appearance... Be hopeful that he doesn't find you... or be prepared to throw another party member (Sam) in his way.
Hello there. I'm looking for scans or pictures of the extra box cards. I love the game but missed the KS campaign. If someone knows where to find it ;) . Kisses from France !
The extra cards from the Stretch Goals box? If you have the models you should have the cards as well. Not sure where you might find them, but they should be out on the inter webs somewheres!
First time finding you channel. Wonderful ease of presentation, and, of course, the Aussie accent is great for Yank ears! Will explore more from here, and thanks for putting this out.
Hey Steven! Many thanks for watching, mate, very much appreciated. Glad you enjoyed the vid and please let me know if you have any questions regarding Arkham - it's a strange world to play in! Cheers!
Super late here but you guys did great :) Our family just ordered this deluxe version of the game. We just started getting serious about our game collection and shortlisted a few family friendly worker placement type games. Our son is now your daughter's age from this old video and your daughter's reaction to the wooden pieces absolutely sold him on Creature Comforts. We must have watched about a dozen of these unboxing videos in anticipation, most from those "bigger" channels and, for whatever it's worth, our family enjoyed your video the BEST! Also, we're from the US and don't know anyone from Australia, so we're going to personally thank you for Bluey as well :)
Hey Willmorse! Thanks so much for watching first and foremost - we appreciate it! The KTBG stuff is always, ALWAYS exceptional and very family friendly. Creature Comforts was an instant back after the success of Fossilis (which you should check out as well, we've even uploaded a play through.) and we also have the follow up to CC, Maple Valley - and are just waiting on Maki Master (formerly Wasabi) to arrive. Power Plants is pretty amazing too. Charlotte is an avid gamer (as you can tell) and her surprise and delight when we get to open stuff up is always great to see. Pleased to hear that you appreciate what we're doing - and that we can hold our own when it comes to content! I can't personally take credit for Bluey - but I will say the majority of the kids here are obsessed. :) If you have any questions about Creature Comforts or anything else you see on the channel, please reach out - always happy to help the Gaming Community worldwide. Thanks again for watching!
I love it. I love it, I love it, I love it. -- I love your enthusiasm!
@@estherchung82 thanks for watching, Esther. Not too hard to get excited about this one… it’s absolutely spectacular!
Kinda sad, I was able to buy this expansion for only $139 and free shipping. Thx to The Game Steward 👍
@@jrod5113 good to hear! Nice get. Remember though, I’m talking Australian dollars… everything is more expensive for us. 😳 Thanks for watching!
Would you think this scenario might fit best into a Hemlock Vale campaign. I going to play Hemlock soon and I would like to add a Scenario to that campaign. Sounds like the green, mushroomy, nature-changing topic could fit perfectly. And one could imagine the comet went dont on that island.
I actually think that's one of the better fits into a campaign thematically, although it's designed to be able to fit anywhere, all self contained - however, I do feel that the failure states have the potential to be very extreme. If you're thinking of adding this in late in the campaign and you've spent a whole lot of time building up experience and developing your deck - the scenario is potentially campaign ENDING. So use caution. Best way to play this one in my opinion is with multiple groups of investigators in Epic Mode. Multiple tables all working towards a common goal, but the Big Bad Blob has HP equal to 30 per investigator. An epic struggle for a whole hall of people! Thanks for watching, and be sure to check out our other Arkham Horror videos too!
Great video, thanks for showing all the content just recently backed the second printing with all the content, looking forward to unboxing everything my self soon. Also loving the Matthew Reilly novels. My whole family are big fans.
Hopefully it won’t take as long to get to you as mine did! It’s a lot of unpacking but it’s worth it. I’ll be opening up my add-on with the two extra minis that weren’t in the OG Kickstarter when they arrive! Yep, Matthew Reilly is one of my favourites, along with King and Patterson. Highly recommend the Harriet Blue series of James Patterson & Candice Fox if you get time. Thanks so much for watching!
Where can I buy the dead west expantion???
Hey Lukey! The Dead West Box was for all of the Kickstarter campaign exclusives, so it will be incredibly hard to find at retail. Your best bet would be to look at second hand resale.
@@hpgamingau is that the same for everything else??? I only wanted the melting pot.
@@lukeyboyandthecatlings I don’t think so. You would be able to find most of the expansions somewhere online. I will say too that the CMON campaigns have recently had second runs over on Gamefound, don’t k ow if they’ll do that for everything but it’s worth keeping an eye out.
@@hpgamingau I'll have a look, thank you.
This looks like such an amazing game. I am looking in eBay to get the all in pledge.
It's an awesome game, Robert! I think they have just completed a new Gamefound campaign for new stuff along with all of the original components. You may be able to pledge there without the eBay loading!
What do you think of the mini expansions I’m curious on your thoughts on them? Cuz I have the deluxe version non kickstarter version but no 2 extra tiles or mini expansions but have not seen any reviews of the mini expansions or the 2 tiles not in the retail deluxe versions
Hey Luke! Thanks always for watching! The mini-expansions for this one - honestly - are a little hit and miss. For me, I like the idea of the Ponds expansion for two reasons: 1. It makes the game look even more pretty! 2. The additional round of pre-scoring before end game scoring (provided the patch doesn't have the most sprites on it) adds a little bit of strategy. Personally, the Wizards mini-expansion is my favourite. It creates a bit of strategy by stopping players from effecting the patch you're on, meaning they might not be able to force a majority. Spades is okay, the ability to remove a patch is interesting - but not as much of a pull for me. The player powers expansion is okay too - but there's some powers that are more OP than others - it's not as balanced as I'd like. But, just my humble opinions!
@@hpgamingau thx for your thoughts
@@lukeanzilotti9090 an absolute pleasure!
Great chat. Nice to see y'all are also in Australia. Living in Brisbane here. Only have 3 campaigns and not heaps of experience playing so far but rate the game as one of the best ever. First deck was a Harvey Walters and Skids (my friend played him) in a duo through revised core+ Guardians of the Abyss added in to make a more full experience and more time with characters. Was great fun, steep learning curve. Second playthrough and first real campaign was Edge of the Earth, in a co-op tag team with Monterey Jack (same friend) escorting Miss Lola Hayes through the artic. Absolutely fell in love with Lola. She's now got such a soft spot in my heart, having played first serious campaign with her. (Did play her with the errata fixes... And think she's really fun)
Thanks so much for watching, Way! Yeah, not a lot of Australian's out there doing content so we're trying to up the youtube game for us. The Arkham Horror experience is something that you can't truly describe to people unless you get them to sit at the table. Highest player count we've had is three, and it's just such a great, tense and epic experience every damn time. Hemlock has finally released here in Australia (the Campaign box has arrived and started shipping, with the Investigator box following later this week) and with the new model of release it's making it even more accessible to newer players. I still have Edge of the Earth sitting on the shelf, looking to finish up another run through The Dream Eaters first. Then I'll be taking on Hemlock Grove in true solo. If you get a chance, check out The Scarlet Keys campaign, too, it's awesome. But Dunwich Legacy still holds a soft spot in my heart. Keep investigating! - Matt
@@hpgamingau Thanks for all your kind advice. Si, have you played through EotE yet? Am curious as to your thoughts on Scarlett Keys for replayability and true solo? Looking for a new campaign to run true solo through first and foremost....
@@WayOfHaQodesh happy to help! Part of the reason I started the online store and the RUclips channel was to connect and help like-minded gamers find their new favourites... also helps to fund my tabletop board game addiction! Honestly, I've had some epic gaming moments playing these campaigns in true solo. Dunwich, Forgotten Age, Carcosa, Circle Undone and Innsmouth all offer their own unique flavour and style, and setting up for a session and tweaking my decks between games is an awesome - sometimes agonising - process. Scarlet Keys offers an epic globe-trotting adventure, and you have the option of either bringing down an organisation... or working with them against... something else. Not to push my store, but we do have a promo running at the moment storewide - 25% off EVERYTHING, including Arkham Products. Scarlet Keys Campaign is under $85. Check out www.hpgaming.com.au And check out Anthony's stuff too. Epic add-ons to help organise the table for your games!
@@hpgamingau Thank you so much. Really appreciate it.
Can anybody tell me how much the entire package weighs? Thank you
Hey Maikol! Thanks for watching. I'm not 100% sure on the weight as it arrived separately and it's been a while since I had the box! But if I'm right the package weight was about 8-10kg. (17-22lbs)
@@hpgamingau Thank you so much for telling me!
This was mint
Can you make a vid on the elemance box?
That’s the plan! Just waiting for it to arrive!!!
Thank you for this video. New subscriber here, it‘s quite refreshing to hear such a well spoken, thoughtful game discussion.
Thanks so much for watching and for joining us on our Board Gaming adventures! Wondrous Creatures is awesome - we love it. Hoping to offer a play through soon - but we have a lot of content to produce. Hope you enjoy the rest of our videos!
really enjoyed your unboxing of this and undead or alive
Thanks so much for watching - glad you enjoyed it - I have another unboxing planned for this week with some awesome full colour robot minis. Can't wait to share it with everyone!
Apart from looking good.. it seems like it is a solid game 😍
The looking good is a bonus. The gameplay is sound, and uses a collection of knowledge from Bad Comet's past kickstarters to deliver something awesome - and at a great price point for what you get in the box! Go catch those critters!
Thanks for the great unboxing!
Pleasure Andy! The budding Junior DM in our house loves The Shivers!
The only question I have is... Do they mean business?
Oh, you know it. They mean ALL of the business. 🤣
Lol I love it!
@@GameStorm68 that phrase and 'I dig it'. Two pieces of my vocabulary I need to ease up on! Lol.
You are fine, I can't wait to get my set, I love to paint and those are amazing!
@@GameStorm68 I've only just returned to painting after a loooong hiatus - maybe it's time to paint up a hero or two... Or a zombie hero - some of the zombie minis are just awesome. Thanks for watching, mate. Hope the wait's not too much longer!
I am from Malaysia, haven't gotten mine... I wonder what happened then...
Have you sent a support ticket to fulfillment? I do know that we started getting ours here in Australia a little earlier than the rest of the pledges. Fingers crossed it’s not too much longer for you!
Hope everything is OK,after already waiting for so long...
@@hpgamingau Ticket? At kickstarter or CMON?
@@Abaddon86 reading the last update, Indonesia and surrounds are all dispatched, save for some issues with tax and/or customs, but most of those subsequent orders shipped (or were going to ship) Monday just gone - 9 Oct. My guess is that you’ll likely revive it either this week or next, depending on your local postal service. 😊 If you want to follow up, use your backer number and either directly message CMON on the Kickstarter page, or one of the relevant fulfillment companies from their project updates. Let me know when you receive it!!
@hpgamingau thanks for the news, bro. I am ordered it via a local gaming store...later will double-check with that person in charge.thanks, man,now I can sleep well
Ciao! Bellissimi video! Dove metti tutti i kickstarter che ti arrivano? 😊Ciao da Verona!
Ciao, Tommaso! Grazie per la visione! Ho uno studio molto pieno, la parete di fondo è quasi dal pavimento al soffitto con giochi da tavolo! Anche il nostro garage è molto pieno. Sono contento che ti sia piaciuto il video! :)
Awesome stuff. Any gameplays planned?
Thanks for watching Mihaiovidiu! Yep, always some gameplays planned - it's going to come down to time and players who can get around the table! But we're working on it!
Excited for mine to arrive in California
Awesome stuff, McCoy! Be sure to go through all of the boxes - there are some epic minis in there!
Dune
the miniatures looks to be the best i have ever seen… but how is the game?
Thanks for watching Irakli! The minis are spectacular - really adds to the immersion in the game, and I have to say while I intend to put up a full review on the channel - this is an involved game. The sorting of cards and components has been made easier by the codes on the right hand side, but there are a lot of details re: combat, turn order, event draws, etc - and it's all fabulous! Even though the quests are setup the same, the randomness of the room generation with the dice drop mechanic, the blind tile draws for enemies and their orientation in the room means that each session will play so very differently. Had a session last night where my Orc tribe had to fend off many, many patrols that kept spawning, one of my brutes basically cut a path through farmers who kept running for the alarm bell. We lost one Orc, but Badass revived him for the next game. It's a great and tense experience and I can't wait to level up my team and get into the nitty gritty of Rekup and Krafting!
Just got my shipping notification. Looking forward to playing
Thanks for watching, mate! It's an awesome set of boxes! Not going to lie, though, there's a bit of sorting to do and no real card dividers to speak of. Be sure to keep the 'hero' decks seperate, along with their specific event cards... you'll be using those a lot and have to shuffle the event cards into the event deck for each session. Happy Orc Raging!
Loved your intro!! New Sub.
Thanks for subbing! Really appreciate it! Hope you enjoyed the vid!
@@hpgamingau you're welcome. I did enjoy it.
Hello there! I love Arnak and it’s indianajones’ish atmosphere with all the tools and artifacts, but it’s not even close to that subtle and immersive Dune Imperium experience with all of its intrigues, competitions, combats, and, most of all, PERSONALITIES that you feel in each new card Anna how it becomes alive through Agents placement… 💪😀👍
Hi Vitas! Yep, I’m a fan of both… but I feel like Dune is leading the charge here!!
Best unboxing for RE!
Thanks Doug! Much appreciated and thank you for watching! Are you waiting on a pledge too?
Yeah bro I am a Kiwi living in Japan but I am still awaiting fulfillment from the UK😢
@@dougsealy199 oh my! I hope the wait isn't too much longer - but I can assure you, it's worth it! The battle mode is kinda fun too - but most definitely the campaign is the highlight.
Great video! My copy of the game should be arriving in the next two days and I'm beyond excited!
Thanks, Joe! It’s worth the wait for sure. That lithograph reveal in the core is awesome! Good luck with the campaign!
Great video thank you
Very welcome PB! Thanks for watching!
I love these dice! I have my own set, and the oversized feel is so fun. They’re gorgeous as well which is lovely
Thanks for watching Silas! I know! They’re an amazing set, the feel is awesome and they look great on the table too. I have found under some lights they can take a second to read - but they’re worth the extra hassle!
I feel this is one where it isn't a close call for most people, you are one side of the other. For me, I am definitely in the Dune camp. Love the tension in the influence tracks: watching as someone is 1 spot from the top, knowing you can pull off a double influence jump in one turn using an intrigue card to lock in the alliance, but needing to weigh that vs. making a move to deploy more troops. I personally also prefer how resources are handled in Dune, I struggle getting the resource curve right in Arnak, often over/under valuing each resource type (but that is definitely a me problem, not the game). To be fair, I have not played any of the Arnak expansions. For me the closer debate is Dune vs. Clank.
Thanks for watching, Chilli! And yes, I agree, I’m in the Dune camp myself but visually the table presence of Arnak is awesome. Also agree - Clank! is one of our favourites. Really looking forward to Clank Legacy 2.
Loved the unboxing! I am one of the main illustrators(Nilanjan Malakar) of this game. Absolutely delighted to see sooo much of my art there in physical print! 😍Can't wait to receive my copy and unbox it myself! Super excited!
Pleased to hear that, Nilanjan and thank you for watching! It's such a great design and the artwork on the cards and components is fantastic - you've captured the feel of the locations around the world really well! Hope the wait isn't too long for you to get your hands on your copy! Cheers, Matt
How much was the all in pledge? Did it contain everything available?
The Deluxe All-In Tier had everything they presented, along with the legendary unlocks as well as the accessories (metal coins, the epic playmat, etc). The only item it did not include was the 5-8 player expansion for Free Roam mode. Price wise, £249. Thanks for watching!
@@hpgamingau cool. I got a guy selling it to me for 150 USD!
@@dustin802 I will say the onsell for this game will be high. You'll get a chance to play through it all and still find a buyer after the fact. :)
No space for the 3D towers?
Not an official space, no, but I do feel as though you could manipulate the contents a little to try to fit them in. I ordered the 3D towers to come with the Elemental set... (why I didn't get them first time round is beyond me!), so when it all arrives, we'll be revisiting that for sure!
I'm actually a late Hungry backer and just pre-ordered Galactus from a different site, i had no idea he was this big
He is huge. Absolutely as he should be. But I’m very much still trying to figure out how to store the dang thing!
I bought this game on second hand and today I had my first try. Never made it into the 3rd zone 😅 Yes, things like, walking in a minefield at a time the alien predator is showing up in the jungle, can happen! I changed one green die into a red one, so I pretend to have a "captain" in my squad and every turn I could see, what he is doing! March, shoot, give commando... like it! 😊
It’s so brutal! But I think that’s why we love it. I haven’t played this in about a month. Will need to get it back to the table. 😀 Love the captain die idea! Adds a little more chaos, and a little more theme. Good luck on your future runs through the jungle! Thanks for watching! Keep pushing for that checkpoint!
Cool
It is indeed. Very cool. :)
Since we got rid of God in our heart, we all need another dinivity on our shelf I guess… But this one produces tons of CO2 to produce and ship. Big cars, big plastic minis, small dicks… Congrats guys, the next generations will surely forgive us 😢
