Can't wait for this massive box to arrive at my door step ! Painting this big lad is gonna be a lot of work but Im very excited ! Great video ! You showed everything off really well 👍. Subscribed for when you unbox the rest of the Kickstarter
Thanks so much for watching, DuStii! Be sure to share some shots once you paint him up - Herculean effort but I’m sure it will be amazing! Hopefully not too long before we get the rest - still a couple of months away I think. Can’t wait to show off the rest!
I thought that might happen - Galactus is just so massive and the cards are tiny in comparison. Notes for next time, I should have brought the camera down for the box contents. Apologies.
Hey Maikol! Thanks for watching. I'm not 100% sure on the weight as it arrived separately and it's been a while since I had the box! But if I'm right the package weight was about 8-10kg. (17-22lbs)
Thanks for watching! It’s an amazing piece, but I have no idea how I’m going to store it. The base is massive. The boxed expansion would have been awesome as an add-on with just tiles, but I will say, Galactus set up with everything at the table… it’s pretty impressive. 👌🏻
My rule book was stuck to the game card almost exactly the same way. Damaged the card too, unfortunately. Bummer. Marriage still intact though. Thanks for the killer unboxing!
Really!!! I thought that it might have just been a freak thing but I hope it’s not in all the boxes, sorry to hear that. Thanks for watching and I wish you well against the big man! Which scenario are you going to tackle first??
@@xaviersavage8570 not that I could see. I wasn’t prepared for it in the vid so I just gave them a gentle tug and it came free, damaging the book a little. It’s not too bad, but based on the comments it’s clear that this isn’t an isolated incident. Hope this vid serves as a warning to check before you separate… maybe a slower process and a little knife or something might have made a cleaner break, but it’s as though the ink has fused together.
Actually very good! The parts and joints are all very polished. I will say, depending on storage and where he’s left, he might a bit of dusting from time to time, but a simple wipe with a cloth should to the trick! Thanks for watching!
We are working on this, but it's been tricky to lock down players and space to fit our Galactus friend in the frame of the cameras! We'll have something up soon! :) Thank you for watching!
As far as I can tell, the rules for the base game are the same - players win or lose together, if one falls, they all lose. I will say, though, some of the upgrades and tech cards the players (be they zombie or supers) can collect do tip the scales in their favour, reducing Galactus' toughness by as much as two or three points. Having said that, it's a 'luck of the draw' card that kinda makes it crap when you're potentially close to victory only to have it ripped out from under you because of this one BS card.
Unless there are direct ways to mitigate or redraw those cards, I'd house rule that. Didn't pay $200+ for an expansion that makes me lose by a random card draw
@@thehaydenroper most Zombicide games are able to be house ruled, this isn’t really any different. Some of the cards to make it easier for the players, but that one card might find itself ‘out of play’ permanently. 😉
@Hayden Roper - That "Fit of Rage" card isn't an instant game over card. As far as I can tell, it should only come up when facing the living Galactus in "Zombie Hero Mode." It eliminates a Super Hero (living) and the players would be playing as the "Zombie Heroes." Essentially, Galactus would be attacking his own team to make himself stronger.
@@newbreedcreator you are 100% correct. It does specify Super Heroes rather than Zombie Heroes for that mode. I will say pushing the track up by 2 and potentially bringing another Master Plan card into play could have devastating effects, though. Tough times ahead for either side when Galactus comes to town!
This makes me very happy to see. Just received my core box today. I am a late all in pledge. Can’t wait!
It's worth it. Check out the Core unboxing earlier on the channel, the sculpts are just awesome. Thanks for watching!
6:23 I felt that lol. Can not wait for mine to arrive.
Good luck, Scott. I’ve tried to tell my wife, “with great power comes great responsibility…” but she wasn’t having any of it. 😂

Thanks for the video unboxing - the camera was too far away so got blurry to see any of the text on the cards.

Can anybody tell me how much the entire package weighs? Thank you

@@hpgamingau Thank you so much for telling me!
Thanks for the video! Looks amazing!! Can't get that Galactus because I have zero space for it but would love to get the expansion box.

Is there any trick to unstuck the card without damaging anything?

I'm actually a late Hungry backer and just pre-ordered Galactus from a different site, i had no idea he was this big
He is huge. Absolutely as he should be. But I’m very much still trying to figure out how to store the dang thing!
How are the seams or moldlines on him? should we expect to need to do much cleaning ?

Cool
It is indeed. Very cool. :)
Please do two playthroughs, one with Galactus and one with Zombie Galactus.

How does that eliminate card even work... You just get an instant loss? That sucks

Kinda sad, I was able to buy this expansion for only $139 and free shipping. Thx to The Game Steward 👍
@@jrod5113 good to hear! Nice get. Remember though, I’m talking Australian dollars… everything is more expensive for us. 😳 Thanks for watching!
