- Earlier this year, Liverpool fan John went into cardiac arrest whilst playing for his Sunday league team. He wouldn’t be here now if it wasn’t for the quick actions of Alex, a fellow Red and advanced Nurse practitioner. To show his gratitude, John was accompanied by the skipper Virgil van Dijk to thank Alex for saving his life.

As a Hungarian and Barcelona fan I only started following Liverpool closely since Szobo joined the team, beforehand I only watched the bigger Champions League matches. But since then I now understand through these videos and comments that this club is much more than just a business and I now also understand what they really mean when they say "You never walk alone". I’m just in bits watching this. The nurse was a hero, as are all nurses in my book, but the accessibility to a defibrillator was of course vital that day. Thanks to Nivea & LFC for raising awareness and providing more of these lifesaving pieces of equipment.

Every NHS worker is a hero, especially after the pandemic and the hardships they had to endure, which included seeing their colleagues become their patients.
Footballers are of course stars and entertain us, but people like Alex are the heroes that this country owes a huge debt of thanks to. They deserve much better treatment as well and much harsher punishment for anyone who gives them abuse.

As a German LFC fan it's fantastic to watch docus like that. Now you can understand what a great club LFC is and btw Virgil is a great personality. With Kloppo as a manager this club came back to the top, not only in football but as a great deal for the people at Merseyside.

Im gonna spread here ashes during YNWA on the kop this coming sunday, she was the biggest red ever, she passed away in march due to cancer, she loved life and Liverpool was everything to her.
