Feel my sleepy reading struggle. I work night shift maintenance, and I like to read during my downtime between machine breakdowns. Sometimes I have to get up pace around the room to not nod off.

I adore a good regency romance. The best author of these types of books I have found is Judith A Lansdowne. Her books were published in the 1980's and early 1990's, but if you can track them down at a library or find them used online, they are soooo worth reading. Her characters are always a joy to read and fall in love with and often wind up in these zany, madcap situations.

You really should give the faithful and the fallen series a try the first book is the weakest but the other books are really good

i'm one who usually loves sci-fi books. but i simply cannot get through red rising. i stopped at the 30% mark three weeks back and have finished 3 books since. i started reading because haley and dylan is in trouble recommended it. but so far its been pretty up and down interms of holding my attention. anyone fans of the book who felt the same and glad they went on? i read some 5 star reviews but they loved it from the get go.. so yeah..
Are those reading glasses though ? I can't wear my glasses that I use to see far away while reading
