    This is brilliant, it's just what I've been needing - the old Fazer headlights are rubbish.

    I did this, the stud connectors need to be 30 mm long and the lamps need to be for r/h drive so that you won't have any issues come mot time (uk of course ) . They work superbly just with H1 halogen bulbs, twice as much light compared to the old setup

      Good to hear and yes, they give quite an improvement :-). With the stud connectors you mean the spacers between the projector and the bracket?

    • @stephenlatchford9850
      @stephenlatchford9850 6 лет назад

      Yes otherwise the lamps touch the inside of the lens

    • @Retrofitlab
      @Retrofitlab  6 лет назад

      Ok, we supply the 20mm in the kit, so it won't touch the lens/is more backwards

    Hi! I bought bi xenon projectors before I saw this video. Where can I find to buy just that plates that projectors are mounted on? (with bolts)

    Are these lights EU certified? I own FZS600 Fazer and the lights really suck but I'm afraid that these lights might not go through in the technical inspection. Do you know of any experience with this?

    Hi retrofitlab, are these kits fully UK insurance and road legal? Will they pass the new MOT rules regarding conversion kits?

    • @Retrofitlab
      @Retrofitlab  6 лет назад

      Sorry, sometimes it is enough to use the projectors with H1 halogen bulbs. It depends a bit on the inspector, so please check this with the company/person that will do the inspection.

    hi everyone does the case need to be heated ect to get it to seperate ,, as there is no way the two half's of mine will just pry apart

    • @Retrofitlab
      @Retrofitlab  2 года назад

      Yes, heating the headlight is very important. This makes removing the front glass so much easier. The heat softens the sealing.
      See this page for the best heating settings: retrofitlab.com/apps/help-center#hc-at-what-temperature-do-i-heat-my-heatlight-to-open-it

    so whats happened to the sidelight??

    • @danthomas86
      @danthomas86 7 лет назад

      Retrofitlab its called a sidelight here and rquired to pass an MOT. But yeh the small light you removed at the start of the video.
      i'm assuming a light will just need fitting elsewhere??
