- Hey family!! In today's video I'm taking y'all along for the meals of the day! For breakfast we make some Buckwheat Pancakes with bacon and eggs! Lunch is one of those find what you want days! 🤣 Today there was popcorn chicken and pizza pockets all around. We're ending the day with Philly Cheese Steak Quesadillas for supper, and they were so good y'all!

Thank you for giving me a twist on making cheesesteak subs! I would have never thought of that! My dad used to make blueberry buckwheat pancakes on a Saturday morning, or a Sunday morning after church. Needless to say we were starving Marvins if he made them after church! Lol! I quite liked them! There was a slightly different flavour. Once a nice vlog before I start work, always puts a smile on my face!

Oh goodness, my Grandmother used to leave bacon and sausage that was leftover from breakfast, on the stove. What wonderful memories that brings back, not to mention the leftovers were delicious!

I love Spring because of the longer days and the end of winter. Here in Michigan it seems to last forever. Fall is pretty but I know Winter is right behind
it so it lessons the enjoyment. I remember having buckwheat pancakes at Cracker Barrel once. They were very good.

It's been cold and rainy here. I made crack chicken without the crack. I also made a pot of cooked cabbage. I am gonna try making some apple and banana muffins. I tried buckwheat years ago, can't do it.
My Momma loved buckwheat Pancakes, I never tried it. After seeing yours I think I need to try it.
I love to put little bit of Dale's seasoning sauce on my meat and peppers and onions while they are cooking. It just gives it a little more flavor. A little goes a long way. It is so good.

You know you can get attachments for yourself? To make your own spaghetti, shred cheese, meats, slice etc.

I had quesadillas tonight too...cheddar and parmesan. I usually add grilled chicken but didn't tonight. I put the filling on half the tortilla and fold it into a half circle, brown on each side, and cut in half. So good!!!

I've never heard of buckwheat cakes. I love philly cheesecake anyway it's made.
I've recently read that buckwheat is really good for you. Even better than oatmeal. As a child we ate Aunt Jemima Buckwheat pancakes, at least that's the way i remember it. Probably is not why I'm 82, in excellent health and have no aches and pains but you never know for sure 😂

Falon, I had to laugh, now you think Spring is your favorite season, when you get near the end of summer, I'm sure Fall will be your favorite season again. Those are my too favorite seasons too. I wish Spring would last a bit longer, before you know it you have to turn on the ai air conditioner. I love to have the windows open, but that only works for 2 or 3 days. lol Have a great weekend. We LOVE buckwheat cakes!! We have a Buckwheat Festival and they have a king and queen. It is every year 3rd week Sept. A real hometown thing. We grow buckwheat here. Love it!
Good evening y'all, asking for continued prayers for my mama. We took her to our State hospital yesterday with labored breathing and swelling. Her white blood count is dangerously high. My dad's family is from Fort Kent Maine. We always made ployes, buckwheat pancakes. But we ate them with butter for supper like bread n butter. I think its a French Canadian thing. Lol
