- Hey family!! In today's video we're making Easter Baskets and a spaghetti bake for supper!

Creamy Spaghetti Bake:
NOTE: This is the original recipe, I doubled it in the video. 😁👍
Ingredients:
1 pound spaghetti, cooked two minutes shy of directions and drained
1 pound ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves of garlic , minced
6 cups pasta sauce
8 ounces cream cheese , softened
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
parsley, chopped or dried parsley
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large skillet add the beef, onions, and garlic into the pan and cook on high.
Once browned, turn off the heat, drain the liquid left in the pan.
In a large bowl mix the meat mixture with the cooked spaghetti noodles and pasta sauce.
Mix the cream cheese and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese in a bowl.
Add half the pasta/sauce to the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
Add the cream cheese mixture and top with the remaining pasta/sauce mixture.
Add the meat sauce mixture on top of the pasta and top with remaining cup of mozzarella cheese.
Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Sausage and Cream cheese casserole:
1 package of Jimmy Deans Sausage
1 package of Cream Cheese
2 packages of crescent rolls, or two cans of the crescent dough sheets
an egg white
Cook sausage until done, drain. Mix with cream cheese. Spray a 9X13 casserole dish with cooking spray. Spread out on can of crescent rolls. Spread the sausage mixture on top, then add the other can of crescent rolls. Rub the top with the egg white. Bake at 375 for about 12-14 mins.

My great grandmother always put a large cinnamon roll cookies that were like cake hard boiled eggs she dyed herself they were always vibrant. No one knows how she did it a few pieces of candy all on top of a cartoon character plate. It was that may we always have food in our bellies. She had 15 great grandkids. She never left any one out. Bless her heart.

What a great job on the baskets. I ❤ all of them. I make one for grandson Silas who is 5. I always got a chocolate 🐰 🐇. I would eat the ears off first. Got to get to the store. I fixed our 3 Grandchildren who live in town the dollar tree shoe boxes I had bought 5 years ago used for craft storage, now repurposing for Easter Boxes. Worked out fantastic.

We always had a 'sugar egg' in our basket and it had jelly beans inside with pretty flowers on top. A chocolate bunny, speckled eggs and little white gloves to go with our new Easter dresses for church. The kids baskets turned out cute, Falon.

I remember Easter bunny would bring me bubble gum eggs, peeps, sweat tart eggs ( that used to be huge ), chocolate bunnies, malted ball eggs, covered in a hard white sugar, I guess. Oh and assorted jelly beans. I’m going back, Falon, in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. Mind you I still get Easter candy! Since moving to England, they don’t have Easter baskets with assorted candy. Easter bunny brings them, huge chocolate Easter eggs, depending on the type of chocolate you want, for example, Cadbury, Rolo, Mars ( who makes milky ways, snickers,etc,). I’ve explained to my friends over here, what goes into Easter baskets.
I also remember, new Easter outfits , which was a dress, spring coat that sometimes matched the dress, Easter bonnet/ hat, white gloves, white patent leather shoes and a white handbag. I used to hate wearing the Easter hat, since the boys would pull on the elastic string that would fit under your chin. Ouch! Lol! I would love going to church to show off your Easter outfits! I’m sure the Lord would be smiling down on us all taking such pride with our outfits!

Easter was mostly chocolate and mandarin oranges in my case, most effort was put into Christmas and Santa (Saint Nicholas in my case, Belgium / EU). I still loved Easter. But I think I was about 8 when I just got the chocolate sans basket. And a set of fresh clothes for the season. My dad is 75 and he still gets the tiny Easter eggs (the real little ones) just to snack on. They're everywhere now, so we stock up, because he *loves* them so much! They come in a box (in Aldi) and they do not have wrappers.

We have a jelly belly store near us. I love the belly flops(jelly beans that stick together). They are cheaper than the regular beans. A lot of beans in a big bag. From CA

Next time you make it add a thin layer of cream of mushroom soup over the spaghetti then add your cheese. You really taste it but it makes it so creamy 😁

I made Easter Bags and on the front of the bag you right there names with a chalk marker . , fulled them with goodys and a gift cards to there favorite fast food Restaurants. Subway and Sonic .They are For my Grandkids everybody will come Saturday and we will have Our Easter Dinner and a Egg hunt. Hope it don’t rain. Happy Easter.Had to spell check myself. Whoops

back in the day, we always got popcorn bunnies, marshmallow eggs that I don't think they make any more. The marshmallow was very sugary and firm inside and have a shiny candy coating on the outside. They were so yummy, and came in bright colors. Chocolate of course, and we always had a new Easter outfit, usually my mom made them. For my children I have always made up their baskets, like my Mom did. But since they have gotten to be adults, I give them Easter candy ( this year its mostly candy from Germany I got at Aldi) and plastic fillable eggs that I put money in.I'm 63 and used to love the Hilighlights magazine when I was a child. I have to put my boys together they are all older 17, 24, and 30 but I still like doing a little something for them. My momma always used to give me a bag of the sunflower seed kernels in my Easter basket just like you got for Tyler and Jacob. She would also give me a white chocolate bunny because I’m the only one that liked that better than chocolate and there was always some nail polish and some kind of jewelry. I miss those days. We all actually got dressed up for Easter to go to my Grandparents house. 😔💕
Hi Falon we use to get a popcorn bunny it was like white Carmel corn so yummy and raspberry creme eggs yummy. Oh I miss those days and my grandpa was Sunday school superintendent and he'd give us all a milky way made into a cross some candy co. Made them so special every year... Love your baskets so fun the kids will love them. I still make my daughter a small basket and she's grown my mama made me one till I was grown lol. Spaghetti looks yummy bless you

We always used to have Easter Egg hunts all over the house. One year the Easter Bunny hid quarters all over and my brother and I ended up with about 50 bucks each. We also got little baskets too. Those were fun times!
