the question is how do you wash this if it's hydrophopic? does it let the soap/water get sucked in at all so it cleans it? ive been wanting to get this but I am really curious about this thing

Hey will this last on me? I buy new a mouse pad every year because it damaged at the part where i rest my wrist.. I'm planning to buy the Corsair MM350 Pro Premium SPILL-PROOF XL its on Blackfriday sale for 28euro at amazon.
Bought the MM350 Pro Spill Proof, feels a little bit sticky when you are used to the hard mat.
Awesome review. I was actually wondering what the difference was and was happy that I settled for the PRO one.
Just a question if I had to wash it , how would I do that without damaging the design or something? I never really had to wash any mousepads so I got no idea.
Thanks for watching Kiran! So happy to of helped. For washing, I would use a bathtub with warm water and a soft cloth. If you have to use soap, make sure it's odderless. When drying, you can hang it over a shower rod or someting similar. Just make sure you have both side able to air dry. Hope that helps and I might make a video about how to wash a mouse pad properly😃

to everyone reading this. The new mm300 pro (spill proof) is a fast speed mouse pad when the mm300 standard is medium control. I had to return the pro version and bought new mm300 which is finally grey color(like pro) instead of brownish

Ahh, just the video I was looking for, just stained my mm300 that I've had for years with orange juice. Decided it was already pretty scuffed and would get a new one only to find there are different varients. Thanks for the comparison :)

Hello, is there difference in the texture, does the spill-proof feels somehow waxed or less smooth to the touch?
The Pro has a slicker coated texture where the Premium has a soft "cottony" texture

I actually love a simple black mouse pad. The ship style is super cool tho so it depends on your preference. Either way you can't go wrong. Both are sweet!🤟🏻
What about a glide test? You took the time for everything else, wish youd have included this very crucial aspect for pad reviews
Glide smoothness, texture, and speed is all personal preference and I include a bit of glide in all my pad videos. I just don't go in-depth on which material has "better" glide. I should be more clear though you are correct on that👍🏻

the spill proof thing isnt actually insane. you can do that with any cloth with some proper wax treatment. It will propably go away when you wash the mosepad for the first time.
That's what I want to test! I also have coded spray the I could try and reapply so that could be fun lol

Is the new MM350 PRO a fast pad? I wanna buy it but need to know if it's fast like my current MM300. 😃
I would say it's fast but don't know about faster. It's all personal preference. If I were you, I would order it on amazon so you can test it both and return it for free after 30 days if you don't like it!
@@AprilMayRainMM300, MM300PRO, MM350 and pro are they all control mousepads! Not so slow and not so fast (5-6/10-10 is fast and 1 is very slow)
What happens is, when a mousepad is new, its lubricant ccoating stays new and BECAUSE OF THAT, any liquid on the newer mousepads stay afloat or NOT absorbed unlike the more used mousepads after 6+ months which quickly absorbs the liquid so it's not really a 1:1 comparison because 3 of the pads had been used for different times.
The PRO and the PRO PREMIUM had been used for ~0 days vs 1.5 years used. I thought this review was gonna be useful for me but I was wrong.
For instance, there's a brand Fantech and their mousepads, out of the box look so shiny and neat and can keep liquid away from absorbtion. But after just 2 months of use it looks like a dust magnet. It's pretty cheap. Around $7, but given how premium it looks out of the box, it's just factory coated temporary lubricant.
Thank you for your honest comment regarding the video. I appreciate all feedback positive or negative. The purpose of this video was to compare an older Corsair pad to their newer spill-proof pad. I can assure you that all Corsair mouse pads that aren't "PRO" do not have a spill-resistant coating out of the box and the PRO that I have been using for 6 months is still spill-proof even on my mouse side. If you can link to me the Fantech pad you used in your test, I can make a comparison video of the different brands if you would enjoy watching that more👍🏻
@@AprilMayRain I watched it fully. I also looked into other reviews of other pads. Right now, it seems like these mouse pads have been left far behind by the Aqua Control Plus pads. Both speed and control.
Cheaper AND better in terms of quality.
There's a who lot of other better plus cheaper pads. The way you review, I think it'll be great if you consider reviewing those pads as well. Your review nonetheless is somewhat in depth. Thanks.

Broll, static A-framed explanations, and glory pan shots are nice but take away from the purpose in showing the real "feel" and actual use of the product(s).
I checked out Aqua Control Plus pads and they have a white one! That's extremely interesting to me cuz I've never found a white mouse pad I liked yet!
Im thinking about gettting mm350 pro xl cus i play csgo on very low sens and im interested in if there is any glide difference betwen 350 pro and regular 350, cus i see alot of csgo players use regular 350 ?
I think they dont need to change they mousepad but if you going to buy something new the pro is very great I get mine yesterday and feels very cool and also looks nice and better quality of the mousepad, I dont think they use normal version bc feel better just because release before
I just tested it out and will include an actual test in the next mouse pad video I post! But to answer you, it's all personal preference. They both feel very similar but I like the feel of the Pro. Csgo players could upgrade to the Pro or just keep the regular. The Pro is very new and the regular is still a capable mouse pad.

Does the spillproof one have different feeling than the other one? Please let me know, if they are tge same then why someone wouldnt choose the spillproof
They are slightly different in softness texture but both are still soft. I think Corsair will fade out production on any material that isn't spill-proof. Just posted a comparison on the MM700 and since it's spill-proof, that assures me that that's the direction that Corsair is heading.

At the end of last year I also got scammed by their picture on the website, ordered the premium one thinking its gonna be that cooler color and when I received it, its brown yellow like your left one on the table, I return to the shop and full refund, its been a year and you corsair still havnt update the pictures, naughty corsair.

@@AprilMayRain The surface was uneven it really bothered me, I used it for 2 months but I brought it back. I will be buying one from some other brand, not sure which one but definitely an extended mousepad.
There was no sticking though, it felt amazing but as I mentioned it was really uneven I guess thats because it's 4mm thick.

Is the MM350 PRO faster or smoother as the MM350 ?
I would say the PRO is faster due to the material. The softer material on the MM350 is smoother but slightly more "grippy" on a mouse
I'm pretty sure your old one has just changed colors over the year of use... Mine did the same thing. Try washing it.

Why aren't you a streamer, you have the most beautiful setup. Streamers like Loeya, Fresh and LuckyChamu don't even have a setup like you.
I totally use to stream but my full-time job as a software developer has made staying consistent very difficult :/ and you NEED to stay consistent as a streamer. I plan on getting back into it tho just don't know where I would start!
Doesn't your mouse accidentally hit the edge of the mat?
If you have the sensitivity high it might sometimes but you can always keep moving your keyboard over till you have enough efficient space for mouse mobility.

This is a Corsair K95 with white keycaps and I painted the wrist rest white🤍
@@gushigang6509 It's an awesome keyboard! So I used spray paint on JUST the plastic part. The spraypaint I used I have linked in my inventory list in the description. For the "pinging", you have to disable "Sticky Keys" in the Windows settings! If that's what you meant. Hope that helps!✌🏻
