History of the Surreal Sirkus

This film is a re-edit of my Surreal Sirkus 2022 film with some changes, which includes more content and b-roll from past Surreal Sirkus performances.
When I approached Jim last year and asked to make this film for a project for school, I had no idea how much archival footage they had from all those years: I was absolutely enchanted and honored to get to take their stories and weave it all together into a film.
There are some obvious beginner-filmmaker mistakes that I hope can be overlooked. But I'm honored to be able to share this re-edit of the film with more of the footage and the wonderful stories Jim, Moon and Rigel shared about magical history of this Asheville nonprofit.
