I'm really sad that Adventure Time isn't as popular as before. It actually does have a plot if you watch the episodes, but you'd have to watch more than a few to see it. Some episodes are silly and random, and some are deep and meaningful. It's not like other shows and I like that. I mean, finding his lost dad, marcy and simon, losing and getting back his arm, the mystery of the mushroom war, magic man's past, Marceline's mom, being the last human until Betty. Doesn't seem that meaningless to me. Adventure time will always be my favourite show even tho I love Steven Universe. But I think people should stop comparing the two shows. Yes, Adventure time has changed a bit with Finn growing up, but it still has the silly moments along with following the struggle of Finn being a teenager with no parents. It's real.
Adventure Time has silly episodes these days? I thought those went extinct. Also, in order to know the plot of AT, all you need to do is watch the Season premier, a few episodes after that, a few episodes before the finale, and the season finale. The rest is basically boring filler.

In all fairness, SU is a foreshadowing show where you're pretty much required to theorise . On the other hand, AT doesn't go in to its past often and usually episodes have little theory-material. That's why there were way more questions.

I felt kind of bad for the Crewniverse in the beginning cause they weren't even acknowledged until like 25 mins into the panel and even the guy with the mic was like "wow I feel like I haven't even said hi to you guys!" like they were just sitting there quietly looking at the other cast. Buuuut then came the question time and it was clear what everyone was more interested on :p
The thing with that is, the panels have a certain order of things that they need to get through and they need to do it in whatever order is decided on. Yeah the universe crew weren't really spoken to until halfway through but that was because that was the order of the criteria. Even then it isn't something the moderator decided on, it wasn't something the individual members would have decided on it's just how it worked out.
Adventure time was coming to an end anyways so it was like saying goodbye to the old fans while Steven universe is still growing and still gaining more fans

Well, I came here because of Steven Universe, but judging by your other videos, it looks like your interests vary greatly. I'd say do reviews on any shows you find to your liking whether they come from Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, or other stations you enjoy. I would say this, if you decide to review things you should probably keep a theme going and not throw in random shows that have little to do with your other reviews. But hey, it's your channel, and it looks like you have a lot of shows to go off of based on your Comic Con vids, so I'd say start reviewing whenever your ready, and pick a show that you really like and that really defines what your channel will become. And I'm subscribed now btw!

But maybe I need to express my thoughts on the shows that I watch rather than just be an observer. I might give my thoughts on shows, what they could do to improve themselves, etc. I was also thinking about reviewing other things like video games and gear. I'll think of stuff as I go along, but your advice has been great.

I like AT much better than Steven Universe, the characters are so adorable and unique, Finn's personality is amazing, some episodes make you laugh until you pee, and some make you want to cry. I love it. I don't think it's fulled down at all. that's my opinion though. have a good day guys!
So sad that AT even has to share a panel with SU. SU is a great show and all, but the AT glory days are definitely gone, and the VAs nor the show itself doesn't deserve it. AT pioneered this whole new era of cartoons, and now people are tossing it aside like its nothing. It's just really sad. I can only hope that when it ends, all the VAs get other jobs and stay relevant. Best case scenario, something amazing will happen in season 8 and AT will get the revival it deserves both from fans and CN.
I also come from the future, there's gonna be 4 episodes each an hour long which is I think the equivalent of 22 episodes in a new series called Adventure Time Distant Lands if you don't already know
Something I'm actually curious about is a part of the extended SU theme. Steven sings a line that goes as follows: "I will fight to be everything that everybody wants me to be when I'm grown." What strikes me as odd is that we have this show that focuses so much on personal strength and meeting your own expectations, yet right there in that line Steven basically says that he's willing to live up to everybody _else's_ expectations and the destinies that _they_ choose _for_ him. Maybe I'm misinterpreting things here, but that seems to undermine the entire theme of the show.
the thing about that is, I think it's more than what everyone wants him to be, I think that's also what he wants to be, he wants to be something the people he loves and looks up to can be proud of, even though I'm sure they'd be proud of him no matter what he did. so I don't think it undermines the theme of the show, I think there's lots of ways you can look at it. sometimes living up to others expectations isn't an unwanted struggle, but something you can be happy striving for and happy to finally achieve, because it's what you want, too.
Intrafacial86 Plus it's the theme for him now as a 10/11/12 year-old. He hasn't finished growing yet. Pearl's line about Rose also shows that she needs to find a new focus and motivation for why she's fighting for Earth, IMO.
the theme is about the character development so far. Their motivations and aspirations may be contradicting, but that's because they are still growing as characters.

It's really cool to see how big Steven Universe has become, a great show that absolutely deserves it. I do wish there were a few more Adventure Time questions, but what with SU running right now, it's likely to be a lot fresher in most fans minds.
Can i just say something to all Steven Universe fans who are hating on AT. Steven Universe is a brilliant and fun show that has completed it's first season. People are going crazy over this first season and ranting about how Adventure Time is becoming "shit" compared to Steven Universe. Just to give you some advice, AT has been on for 6 SEASONS!! and it has already been renewed for season 7 and 8. The reason why season 6 is really mixed is because Rebecca Sugar ("SU fans' "god") and Pendleton Ward (the amazing dude with all of AT's fun'nes in his mind who started it all) left during season 6 production. Thus they took parts of the show away with them, parts that many fans loved. And the remaining story-boarders probably didn't want to delay the season by finding a solution this loss. This is why AT has been downhill for a while, this is why SU fans diverted from AT to SU. Well, to all SU fans, could you give AT one more shot for season 7, and here are 5 reasons why. 1) Season 7 will be produced/directed/storyboarded with a bunch of new members that cartoon network has hired for the new season, this will bring a better story and a steadier/better pace to the season. 2) The season itself starts off with a fun throwback episode (called Bad Jubies, a stop motion special) to the older seasons where Finn, Jake, Lumpy Space Princess and BMO build a bunker to evade catastrophic deadly weather (trust me watch the preview, it's fun) 3) Season 7 will have holiday themed episodes, including a mini-series about Marceline's past. (This will include her dad, Simon AND HER MOM!!) plus Rebecca Sugar is writing a song for the series now. 4) Season 6 ended anti-climatically, BUT, with no cliff-hanger, thus giving season 7 to divert from the messy plot holes and start off fresh with a new plot. 5) It's just 11 minutes of your time, you'll be surprised how many episodes you'll find to be enjoyable and the several new story artists that have joined to give a brand new season. I love Steven Universe and Adventure Time, they're both my two fav shows and without them, i don't know how to live, i just don't like all this bashing for no good reason.
I feel like Steven Universe is super overshadowing Adventure Time now, and no one really cares about it anymore :( which is sad because I love Adventure Time and no matter how hard I try I just can't get into SU, I don't know why, there's nothing wrong with it I just guess it's not my thing.

Although, Rebecca Sugar acknowledges how much her time in AT helped her learn and prepare to create her own show, and the initial fans back in November 2013 may have checked out SU because they knew of Sugar's work on AT. However, SU's fandom goes beyond AT, and I think the shows have different audiences (though of course there's overlap as well).

Well, I came here because of Steven Universe, but judging by your other videos, it looks like your interests vary greatly. I'd say do reviews on any shows you find to your liking whether they come from Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, or other stations you enjoy. I would say this, if you decide to review things you should probably keep a theme going and not throw in random shows that have little to do with your other reviews. But hey, it's your channel, and it looks like you have a lot of shows to go off of based on your Comic Con vids, so I'd say start reviewing whenever your ready, and pick a show that you really like and that really defines what your channel will become. And I'm subscribed now btw!

But maybe I need to express my thoughts on the shows that I watch rather than just be an observer. I might give my thoughts on shows, what they could do to improve themselves, etc. I was also thinking about reviewing other things like video games and gear. I'll think of stuff as I go along, but your advice has been great.

So sad that AT even has to share a panel with SU. SU is a great show and all, but the AT glory days are definitely gone, and the VAs nor the show itself doesn't deserve it. AT pioneered this whole new era of cartoons, and now people are tossing it aside like its nothing. It's just really sad. I can only hope that when it ends, all the VAs get other jobs and stay relevant. Best case scenario, something amazing will happen in season 8 and AT will get the revival it deserves both from fans and CN.

Can I please not be the only person who came for both of these awesome shows?
Something I'm actually curious about is a part of the extended SU theme. Steven sings a line that goes as follows: "I will fight to be everything that everybody wants me to be when I'm grown."
What strikes me as odd is that we have this show that focuses so much on personal strength and meeting your own expectations, yet right there in that line Steven basically says that he's willing to live up to everybody _else's_ expectations and the destinies that _they_ choose _for_ him. Maybe I'm misinterpreting things here, but that seems to undermine the entire theme of the show.
the thing about that is, I think it's more than what everyone wants him to be, I think that's also what he wants to be, he wants to be something the people he loves and looks up to can be proud of, even though I'm sure they'd be proud of him no matter what he did. so I don't think it undermines the theme of the show, I think there's lots of ways you can look at it. sometimes living up to others expectations isn't an unwanted struggle, but something you can be happy striving for and happy to finally achieve, because it's what you want, too.

Intrafacial86 Plus it's the theme for him now as a 10/11/12 year-old. He hasn't finished growing yet. Pearl's line about Rose also shows that she needs to find a new focus and motivation for why she's fighting for Earth, IMO.
the theme is about the character development so far. Their motivations and aspirations may be contradicting, but that's because they are still growing as characters.

It's really cool to see how big Steven Universe has become, a great show that absolutely deserves it.
I do wish there were a few more Adventure Time questions, but what with SU running right now, it's likely to be a lot fresher in most fans minds.
Can i just say something to all Steven Universe fans who are hating on AT.
Steven Universe is a brilliant and fun show that has completed it's first season. People are going crazy over this first season and ranting about how Adventure Time is becoming "shit" compared to Steven Universe. Just to give you some advice, AT has been on for 6 SEASONS!! and it has already been renewed for season 7 and 8. The reason why season 6 is really mixed is because Rebecca Sugar ("SU fans' "god") and Pendleton Ward (the amazing dude with all of AT's fun'nes in his mind who started it all) left during season 6 production. Thus they took parts of the show away with them, parts that many fans loved. And the remaining story-boarders probably didn't want to delay the season by finding a solution this loss. This is why AT has been downhill for a while, this is why SU fans diverted from AT to SU.
Well, to all SU fans, could you give AT one more shot for season 7, and here are 5 reasons why.
1) Season 7 will be produced/directed/storyboarded with a bunch of new members that cartoon network has hired for the new season, this will bring a better story and a steadier/better pace to the season.
2) The season itself starts off with a fun throwback episode (called Bad Jubies, a stop motion special) to the older seasons where Finn, Jake, Lumpy Space Princess and BMO build a bunker to evade catastrophic deadly weather (trust me watch the preview, it's fun)
3) Season 7 will have holiday themed episodes, including a mini-series about Marceline's past. (This will include her dad, Simon AND HER MOM!!) plus Rebecca Sugar is writing a song for the series now.
4) Season 6 ended anti-climatically, BUT, with no cliff-hanger, thus giving season 7 to divert from the messy plot holes and start off fresh with a new plot.
5) It's just 11 minutes of your time, you'll be surprised how many episodes you'll find to be enjoyable and the several new story artists that have joined to give a brand new season.
I love Steven Universe and Adventure Time, they're both my two fav shows and without them, i don't know how to live, i just don't like all this bashing for no good reason.
Right I hate it how SU and AT fans are fighting about which is better. Personally I love both and think they're awesome in their own way

Although, Rebecca Sugar acknowledges how much her time in AT helped her learn and prepare to create her own show, and the initial fans back in November 2013 may have checked out SU because they knew of Sugar's work on AT. However, SU's fandom goes beyond AT, and I think the shows have different audiences (though of course there's overlap as well).
