Bravo!!! "Lay Me Down" is an extremely difficult song to sing as it lacks the usual backline support that singers often rely on for their melody. A great song choice for singers that have the confidence to be left totally exposed and the ability to pull it off.

That's a selfish way to look at it though. I mean if they're a skilled singer and win, they get more exposure and a chance to release their own song. You may like them being eliminated early to watch their full performances, but for some it's a big chance to grab spotlight for the first time since many of them are aspiring singers.
