So are this the lyrics Janis Joplin were to sing at the Pearl album? Thank you for this recording!
This recording is a treasure!!!
Grandes lendarios do Blues rock do melhor a não esquecer.Obrigado
Love this stuff. TX.
Is’nt that Jerome Arnold, Sam Lay and Elvis Bishop on your photo ??
Could be Elvin Bishop
This picture is Butterfield Blues Band with their own, bestest Song writer & a fine Singer who's still kicking but retired from the action but still living on the North side of the Golden Gate Bridge. This is an indoor show and I hear CIPOLLINA and NICK & I'm not sure who else but it could be a few people. Congas? Hmm, that's a twist on the entire thing. The Comment says everything One needs to know
This was to be recorded by Janis Joplin for the Pearl lp. She OD'd shortly (hours) before she was going to lay down a first vocal so they left it as an instrumental Memorial to her or an instrumental wouldn't be on a Vocalist's lp. I was Blessed by the IG contact w/King Perkoff in Europe who, 'like an Envoy', swooped into the area for a few weeks in October a year ago 10/2022 & had Nick come over the GG Bridge and do his last show in Frisco & at The Saloon on the 22nd(±) a few weeks before he fully retired from the Road and working miles. Thanks again for that King.
@@hieroravenAbsolutely it's Bishop in the picture. That's a very old photo of Nick. IF only the East Coast was covered 3 times a Year by Nick & Cipollina, they'd have embarrassed Jerry & those guys. Personally I think it's self-centered to sit back & watch 'the talent' kill himself rather than be Men & not watching half a band die off- & that you basically grew up w/near. But that's me. I don't have to be Mature, Act like an Adult in the Face of my Bots in the crowd - thinking it's a cool thing to spectate on &/or in.
Individualistic Togetherness Uniquely Done - but the 'how do you spell it' Factor seems to have a lot of weight on it.
It's got a nice beat & you can dance to it- I guess
