I think maybe because it's smaller and the materials they use aren't quite good. I remember I bought a very cute Korean dress online and once it arrived it was too small and the cloth was very thin and felt weird!

I sell clothes online and I think Korean clothing are priced reasonable as per price to value ratio

I wouldn't say they're TOP quality, but they're definitely wearable. I buy most of my casual clothes at these places too (esp gangnam and hongdae) and I think it's a pretty good deal! You just have to inspect closely before buying :)
Koreans seem to go through clothes faster. You change your wardrobe often so they buy cheaper clothes. In the west we keep clothes longer so we buy them to last so they are more expensive.
They are pretty amazing quality actually. I went to all the places in the video and bought stuff from there, practically my wardrobe is made of clothes i bought there lol and the clothes are pretty nice :)
I have been to where you shopped in 강남!! So many memories of wondering around that square for hours trying to find the food court area haha! The underground shopping mall in 강남 is fun even though it is always busy and a little bit confusing to walk around in. Great video!

In China, there was some stallkeeper that tried to charge us RMB680 for a wallet, then before we left they had cut the price down to RMB280 and when we walked elsewhere to another shop, it barely costed RMB60 for the same wallet :P so it's the same everywhere in Asia - and yes by speaking the native language and by looking similar to them (as East Asians in general) does help.

make sure you check the size, size is different is Korea. So called American size in Korea is bit different.
