    This very much reminds me of my dad, not necessarily the creation of a charm, he may have done that but it was never shared with the rest of the family. The bringing back of such prizes as a rams horn, or a birds skull or a beautiful shell or a sea whittled branch.
    There is so much beauty in this world, even if we see it only after death or destruction, something has been left behind to say 'I was here" and has as much value in death as the being did in life.
    Thank you for sharing parts of yourself and thank you to the cat for sharing a part of itself also! I hope winter is mending what was broken and that you are indulging in rest and warmth and good food and company Arith, and of course I expend that to all who read this comment too.

    I do stuff like this all the time. And I give them as gifts. My uncle calls them talismans. I just make everything I do up as I go along. It produces pieces that are, to me, very powerful and meaningful. You are a really really awesome person

    Thank you so much for sharing more of yourself with us, Arith. I understand what you mean about understanding malicious acts in order to combat them. A swords man must know how he will be attacked in order to understand the parry. We have to understand the nature of malicious energies in order to craft things that will mitigate their effects. Your trap is very beautiful, and I love the thought and care that is put into it. I think so many get so caught up in ritual that they miss the intent that is put into craft: Asking permission, limiting what you take and when, using the time in between to imbue purpose into what you are creating. Thank you so much for this small lesson:)

    Over the recent years, it seems SO many (now commercialized 'modern fads' ) supplies I've looked in to, time & time again I discover various issues with sourcing & global supply chains. Everything from Palo Santo to Frankencense, Sage, mining of many crystals and gems, etc, etc. In the past, I've worked for several busy metaphysical retail shops FULL of these items for retail sale.
    To 'practice' anything, I just don't believe we need exotic, endangered, nefariously sourced 'magical' supplies but can do just fine with available, local &/or indigenous items available.
    I fell in love with the aroma of crushed leaves from indigenous plants growing on my property. I'm learning how to preserve &/or extract fragrance from them. After a storm, I gathered clumps of fresh, green pine needles that had blown off the trees and spent hours braiding and weaving them. I've saved stones found on my property or on walks.
    We really do not need to support the unsavory effects and profiteering of many 'exotic' supplies which have now become 'fads'. Things that made sense in the old ways, but don't translate to true Earth Stewardship and respect of nature on a now global, large demand scale.

      it's true, the way they mine crystals in horrifying. Huge holes are blown into the mother to retrieve some material that is squandered. The earth no longer makes this. Seeing asian countries making the gemstone material into crap like smiley faces hurts. Same with precious metals.

    • @SandySez
      @SandySez 23 часа назад

      @@Sheepdog1314 yes, and there's a lot of horrid & tyrannical business practices behind the sourcing and trade of Sandalwood, Frankincense, Palo Santo, etc.

    I have been making charms since I was very young. I give them away, and sometimes I won't explain what they are, or what they are for, because people get freaked out. Years ago friends and co-workers went to war overseas, I gave each a beaded bear claw (I can legally have them, and gift them in some states in the US) - and they all came back unharmed and with stories to tell. Same with animal teeth, gem stones and plant material, like Rue and Rowan. I often disguise the magic by carving an object out of the sacred material, like a spoon or bowl. All positive energy - my germanic ancestors approve

    I’m pausing 4 minutes into your video (having not yet watched the rest) because I’m compelled to say- first and foremost, I’ve been watching your content for years and I truly enjoy and appreciate your insight. I have typed and deleted many sentences in this comment because I have much to say, however know the comment box is not the place for a thesis on human behavior. (Seems I’m a wordy btch 😂)
    Please know, that throughout all of the chaos and vitriol, there are ones that listen and learn, and look forward to your offerings. Keep doing, because you’re doing great, my friend.
    Now….onto the rest of the vid! 🌸

    In my understanding of Mongolian and Siberian shamanism, white shamans work with the celestial realm in the branches of the world tree, and black shamans work with the infernal realm in the roots. White shamans do a lot of purification for magical power, and focus on healing and divination. Black shamans break taboos for power, and are warrior shamans who focus on offensive/defensive magic in wartime and politics and diplomacy in peacetime. If a particular curse is part of a shaman’s tribal duty (e.g. protecting the tribe from invaders by cursing the enemy) there’s less harmful blowback than when people throw curses around purely out of spite. In terms of defense, as soon as a particular ward is publicly known about it’s easier to bypass or alchemically alter the function of the ward - unless you ward your wards.

    I’d say don’t worry what others think. It’s sort of a risk you took becoming a public figure, people will be curious and also make other own stories. It comes with the territory you’re in. You aren’t doing anything wrong and you don’t owe anyone information you don’t want to share. Just shrug off the negativity and things that bother you. ❤

      @ArithHärger  День назад +1

    • @awolpeace1781
      @awolpeace1781 День назад

      @ArithHärger Oh, just some occultist creeps of Scottish heritage I had the misfortune of being placed in school with who had the notion of heretical practices were a form of being beyond us. Like all occultists, they thought they were more adult than the rest of us with their bullsh** nonsense; in the case I mentioned, it was animal cruelty.

      Hello friend! Legitimate question, not silly at all. The easiest and safest thing to do is to bury it underground in a place you don't go often (or never return to) and make sure no one else does. Do not break it.

    I'm disappointed: you should have at least one "real" teeny-tiny skeleton in your collection! 😂 People are nosy and unable to mind their own business. Furthermore, coherence is not of this world and when they meet a coherent person, they do not recognize them, let alone understand them...
    I appreciate your patience, knowing how to wait two seasons to create a special item, it makes me think and rethink 😁
    I always listen to you! What did you say? 😁😆😂 Thank you. 💚
