I don't like that I'm older than Edd was when he passed. :/ I got into Eddsworld when I was very young and he inspired me to more seriously pursue my creative ideas. I was only 13 when Edd passed. I'm 25 now. This unfortunate reality hits even harder now somehow.
I remember when I first got the news. I was in 7th grade, and had just come home from school. I set my backpack down, grabbed a glass of water, and sat at the computer, hoping to see that eddsworld had posted a new video. I logged in, and my Facebook feed was still up from the previous night. At the top of my feed was Tom’s video. I couldn’t go to school the next day, I was crying so much. I begged god to bring him back, because he was the person most responsible for most of the happiness in my life at the time. But, I came to realize, it was his time to go. I will never forget you, Edd. Thanks for making me the person I am today.

Revisiting this once again. Ever since I first seen this video and still to this day. I was 8 when Edd passed away. I'm currently 19 now. Edd had been my biggest inspiration for art, animation, story telling and being someone to follow since day one. The unique and weird attitude carried throughout his stories allowed me to create my own unique and weird attitude that I live with. Everyday I thank Edd for being able to give me such a wonderful way to see the world. His creativeness sparked mine. Throughout all my comics and doodles, I am near finished with my first story and I can only thank Edd for being not only mine, but many inspirations throughout the years. I never even knew about Edd or his passing ever since a couple weeks ago, but even I can see his cartoons had so much effort and heart poured into them; even through him battling cancer. I love how everyone is commenting on this video how they all miss Edd and how he impacted people’s lives with his cartoons. It shows he was really loved by millions. I never even knew about Edd or his passing ever since a couple weeks ago, but even I can see his cartoons had so much effort and heart poured into them; even through him battling cancer. His ethic is what is most inspiring to me, seeing how he pulled through thick and thin until the very end. He never gave up and had fun along the way; something we should all do more. God bless Edd and hopefully he’s in a good place.

This still breaks my heart more than ever. Edd was a charming, funny, kind, and caring individual. I broke down in tears when I first discovered the news a few years back. He is such a good-hearted person who didn't deserve to go. I recently started watching EddsWorld again, and I had to come back here to say how much Edd had impacted me as a person. He is an ongoing inspiration for me and my work to come. I wouldn't have been able to begin creating what I have now, if it weren't for him. I always learned the best from his kind spirit and amazing imagination. I am thankful that the wirld was blessed with such a great mind.

I've been sad and sorry for all the close friends and family its 2017, is been 5 years since his death yet....I just can't stop watching these animations... its really warms my heart to see someone like edd in this world...a world full of bad, but he was a light in a room of darkness...even if the animation hasn't had a new episode ever made again that doesn't matter...this was his dream.....and at least he died doing something he loved...something that impacted the lives of many...thank you.
