thats very interesting, but can you tell me what type of feed is fed too the roosters in the house if the hens feed is aimed at egg production, here in the uk most breeder feeds are around 18- 19 percent protein and a few are 20- 21 percent
Hi Evy, In our breeder houses we don’t need to remove the slats to clean underneath. The scraper removes the manure, then we are able to get any remaining residue at wash down.
I'm amazed with your system thanks ever so much, God bless you. Do you sell some of your birds to faraway country like my west African country Liberia if yes how much will it cost for some five hundred layers? And what could also be the cost of your best feed for the layer hen per bag
Hi, please, there's a point that seems not clear: how can you distinguish hatching eggs from non hatching eggs? And also, non hatching eggs are at least sold for alimentary purpose, you don't throw them away, is it?
Hi Andrea! Before our breeder hens are 26 weeks of age, the eggs they lay are sometimes called "peewee" eggs. They are non-fertile and will not hatch. Also, cracked eggs and double-yolk eggs will not hatch. These are all types of eggs that are determined to be "non-hatching" eggs. These eggs are brought to the Hatchery where they are made into compost. Good question!

With the barn scraper system does that mean you dont have to clean out under the slats during a flock change?
