I just received my chicks from them yesterday. I was SHOCKED to learn how they stand behind their birds! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Will never buy from anyone else
I ended up ordering from Meyer in the fall partially based on this video. The Meal Maker was a big part of that decision. First time owning chickens much less getting them in the mail. Got 8 beautiful birds of 7 different breeds and they are all happy and healthy and just about ready to start laying. Meal Maker turned out to be a beautiful Barred Rock who is my top hen and loved sit on my shoulder when she was younger.

I live on the west side of Wooster Ohio, we get our ducks from Meyer Hatchery. We love going to their open house. You should go if the COVID 19 outbreak is over by then,( it most likely won’t)

I just ordered 8 baby day old chicks today!! 🐣 From there company. I can’t wait this will be my first time raising them myself. I grew up going to my families farm picking & washing up eggs & racking. I’ve had one rode island red. Now it’s time to get my farm started. Wish me luck!!

I'm an electrician and had to the opportunity to work at a dog food facility recently. I was amazed how they had a boot sanitizer similar to this but never have I seen anything like it at a hospital. Lol it's funny that you said the same thing.

@@ernesta5459 they did all arrive alive but after 2 days one of the ducks was sickly and died. 16/17 survived, pretty good they're starting to lay now.

I've seen many Hatchery tours but Josh this was the best made I've seen so far. You covered a lot of territory in such a short time. We love Karen and all that she represents. We love chickens.
We've bought a bunch of chickens and duck from this place and all of them were in good health when they arrived and we live in Alaska.
I used to raise poultry and I loved it I wanna get back into the business and become a poultry farmer

Clean is the only way to control infection and disease. Makes it a lot more pleasant for the staff as a bonus.
This is so interesting to watch. I work at a farm store that gets chicks every week and this gives me a different perspective on how and where our chicks come from knowing they're cared for from the beginning!

The care that they put into raising these little chickens. I am starting and egg laying flock of chickens and ducks aswell as some meat birds to teach my kids how meat is supposed to be raised vs the huge chicken farms.

I've ordered from Meyer three times, always happy with the birds I got. Good friendly service. Nice to see the people behind the name!
First time I ordered it was from Meyers, I had 3 extra chicks and all of them survived many years. I have ordered from others since and never had I had a full batch of chicks survive until maturity. I would always order from Meyer if they had a bigger selection.
Thank you for a FABULIOUS inside look at this wonderful place. Still trying to get things together to be able to get moved and have my chickens again and this video sealed my choice of places to get my birds from for sure!! Wonderful set up and awesome care given to the birds. Love it!!!
