***** hahaha LMAO! I understand your feeling for his solo album, but I feel totaly different. The lyrics are always what gets me clinging, besides he did the whole instrumentals by himself. He should have more focus on what he wants indeed I agree. But soon we'll have it from him I hope.
Just wanted to take the time to appreciate how many good singers this band has and has had in it. Jason, Jake, Derek, and Cabbage are all super good! Never heard the others sing, but I'm sure they're nothing to sniff at themselves.
This, The Used "Buried Myself Alive", and ADTR "Monument" are 3 Great Songs of the 21st Century. Please add to this list so we don't miss out on anything
just saw them a couple of weeks ago and it was only their 2nd show of tour they sounded so fresh! this is like at the end of their last tour with their voices dying, but they played this with just derek on piano and jake on drums singing as well
this crowd is so dead i swear to god pause at 03:31 there's a girl looking so bored and the girl on her phone wtf if I was at that crowd I would be freaking out
The drummer I agree with 100%. I dont know names but ive heard older stuff with the two singers. but the bassist sounds more like the singer of.... spill canvas in his solo than the other guy who used to back up the lead (or atleast the one i knew). Just thoughts though. no critique on your comment, just my opinion
It is great that this band has so many good singers that they can take Lancaster's spots but as much as I love Jason Lancaster, I am happy that Mayday Parade is still powering through without him. Also, having those Lancaster guest appearances are just so dope!
Vocals sound atrocious compared to the way they performed back in 2006. I'm just keeping it real. Then again the transition from pop punk to this pop punk/emo/ scene sound was at it's peak in 2006 so they probably were constantly practicing.
dude this was like at the end of this tour, their voices are probably giving out. plus this crowd is so pitifully dead its not like their pumped up themselves. when i saw them in toronto last summer they were fucking fantastic. sounded every bit as passionate as the original recording
Three cheers for sweet revenge anybody know what that is now they need to say bullets or danger days or even black parade or maybe congenital weapons oh wait that one doesn't count wait what about hesitate alien or stomach aces that they don't count either
Jason Lancaster deserves more recognition. He's responsible for MaydayParade prime success besides his solo talent that dismisses any doubt.
he chose to leave the band himself though, sadly
He's also still on good terms with all the band members. He's actually done some guest performances
he did Rebecca, but take his solo album for example: it hasnt reached people enough yet and that's sad :( Jason rules

Yes but just see how the guys took over and just took it to the same level been a fan since day one and it's only getting better

Why are they going through so many singers?..

The best thing I've ever heard...

I like this full-band version
just saw them a couple of weeks ago and it was only their 2nd show of tour they sounded so fresh! this is like at the end of their last tour with their voices dying, but they played this with just derek on piano and jake on drums singing as well

upon further research.... jake is the one who i am used to so im guessing hes the drummer?
Brent Hnatiuk Yes.
The bassist has the voice followed Jason Lancaster’s voice.

Dude. I doubt they were taking vocal lessons at the time. And they were so young.
