  • In this video we go through the steps for setting up a pallet routine for Universal Robots. UR has included a pallet built into the robot which allows even the least experienced user to quickly teach a palletizing or de-palletizing operation. For more information on Universal Robots, please visit our website at axisne.com, or give us a call at 1-800-NOW-AXIS.

    Check out how Universal Robots stacks up against the competition when it comes to palletizing - so easy!

      Didn't look it, struggling with the pendant and trying to move the robot, I bet it took way longer than this video suggests. That is also the simplest pallet pattern I can imagine, plus column stacking is very unstable for a real pallet.

    What about if the energy turn off in the middle of the process, the robot is able to continue the process or it will start at the beginning?

    Is this a default built-in function or is additional software required? :)

    What if you need a 1 wide, 2 long and 10 high stack? Square is only for horizontal use

    • @AxisNewEnglandAutomation
      @AxisNewEnglandAutomation  6 лет назад

      Actually, square works well in a stacking format as well. You just need to make sure that you teach the corners in the correct order so that it doesn't pick one entire stack first (since you might bump into the second stack). If you have something like 2x2x10 though, you would use the Box style pattern.

    Hi. We have rectangular boxes and pattetizing pattern is interlock. So some boxes are length wise and some are width wise. How we can programme it with this pallet wizard?

    • @AxisNewEnglandAutomation
      @AxisNewEnglandAutomation  5 лет назад

      The best way would be to have a variable that keeps track of odd and even boxes. Then you could rotate the box 90 degrees if you need to at each position!

    what if i want it to pickup and place a mat between etch layer?

      It is possible with the E-series, suppose he demostrates the CB type robot.

    How can you make it faster we have a ur 10 and I see it's very slow I'm trying to get more speed in the rotation.

    • @ASP1NALL

      there's velocity and acceleration settings contained in the move commands I believe

    • @WMCPLab

      @@ASP1NALL @motoman and you can use the "blend radius" option.

    Whata GUI programming language you gearheads use to control that arm? Java?
    Just wondering.
    Pretty robot btw.

      Its written in ROS, and ROS is basically C++ and Python.

      Yeah? I never heard of it. Is it an acronym?
      Again, beautiful piece of work. Must have taken longer than it took to build Rome creating that armbot.

    Hanzhen harmonic drive gear , robot arm gear , automation joint gear , over 30 years experience ,

      Robots have been used for years, only each is driven differently. Nothing can be changed in this topic. possibly color and software. The automotive industry has been used for years. But between them there will be people because they can't fix themselves or correct the error.Of course, this is a wonderful invention.
      Now it was enough to refine the programming technique. It's so simple. And no one came up with it. When I have a little time I will present a prototype of a new road mapping system.
