  • 1. What is a bandwidth of stiffness matrix ? ??
    2. What is the effect of node numbering on a bandwidth of a stiffness matrix ? ??
    Note: Increase in bandwidth increases the time required to solve matrix is more with relates to more use of computer memory and vice versa.

    Please provide numbers to your tutorials, then people can refer in an order. Because people may jump to advanced class without referring basics.
    Thanks for your simple explanation. Good job.

    Thank you for the concise and informative video!
    I was wondering if you could provide an explanation how the process of node numbering for 3D elements like cubes (for an FEM analysis of a 3D problem) influences the calculation time. Does the same rule still apply, i.e. numbering along the shortest dimensions first?
    Thanks again for the amazing explanation! :)

    Good morning sir, how we got 20 and 12 from each short beam

    • @msquare55
      @msquare55  2 года назад

      20 and 12 are the highest possible size of stiffness matrix that need to solve for an element have highest node numbers as 10 and 6. Considering 2 dof node 10 × 2 = 20 and 6×2=12.
