I’ve done quite a bit of asphalt racing and always wanted to try dirt. I’ve thought about trying the KW deal at Carolina Speedway. As someone who’s never raced dirt, would you think I’d get something out of it?
The cars are really choked down and in pretty rough shape. It would be hard to say if you would get something out of it. Every time I tried to set my car in the corner, I would get yelled at about being “out of control” so you can’t even really drive the car.
Which car would you recommend? I'm looking into this for my husband. He's done the sports cars raceways and rode dirt bikes but idt he's driven cars like these.
I did one of those at Talladega. Feels like it's got an anchor out in the straightaways. The turns are an absolute rush!!! First time I've ever been pushed straight down into a seat!!! Highly recommend!! Dirt track experience is on the bucket list!!!
I did it my self and enjoyed it. However it is restricted because they have to. We had a sprint car to run up the the pit entrance and flip. Looks like they learned an went to the infield.
The cars are very very similar in the stock car experience package. Lots of rules and a learning session and the cars are VERY restricted and limited down to like 7300 rpm. Its still fun either way if you've never driven the car or been around anything race related.
Damn you weren't kidding when you said they were limited. What a ripoff. I wouldn't pay that kind of money to drive around in a car that sounds and drives like it has a bad motor in it...
It's a dirt racing experience, not a dirt racing school. A lot of people that go to The Kenny Wallace Dirt Racing Experience, has never been in a race car or anything similar in their lives. So of course they're going to be limited and have tons of rules. You don't want someone that has never done something like this before, in a unlimited dirt car. A little over priced, but still. Like he said, it'd be a cool gift for a friend or loved one, to get an idea what it's like.
@@davidcardwell7859 Also seems like the whole experience would be absolute ass if they limit the cars so damn much, I drive a sportsman and I'm sure its way more fun and better than whatever tf this is 🤷🏻♂️🥴
Now it's time to spend some money with a late model I know I've got 2 both 604s one is my sons and 1 is mine but somehow both are at my shop and I get to work on both but I do have some Herndon super motors for big money races the 604 really suprised me when we went to practice it but now season is over I'm hanging 2 new bodies at the moment my son helps when he can but working 60 plus hours every week I understand hes is a plumber and most days hes at work at 6am and dont get home till 10 or 11 pm
when are u gonna start on the street stock build again
Has peddle is still on the right side ? Should have used it
Are these 602 create engines in the cars?

For your first time in a late model you did great. Getting yelled at is just part of the dirt track racing life style. Great video!
where can you do this and how much?

Does Andrews car have a late model motor in it or even a Kenny Wallace motor in it

Happy thanksgiving hope you had fun
The Kenny Wallace driving experience is a joke!
Crate late model looked about as fast as a turd going around in a toilet bowl. But you had fun, that's all that counts.
Yeah they told me the cars had been heavily restricted as far as speed and power.
