Very helpful -- so many jobs in the social sciences have been asking for RedCap and I never had the opportunity to learn in school. Many thanks for your video.

This is a replacement for the standard Qualtrics?

I have a question: if I want to use an already validated questionnaires (in my case, multiple sclerosis cognitive tasks) , how can I insert them into redcap? Is that even possible? I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but I am completely new to this.

Create a data instrument with the variables of your questionnaires. Then, if your questionnaires are in excel you can save them to a .csv file and then use the data import function of Redcap. You will have to have a first variable of your .csv which will be the Record id for Redcap. If you have an unique patient idea on your data you would make it the first variable of your Redcap data instrument if the instrument is the first in your data project. If it is not, because you have already created data instruments in your project add a new initial variable to your questionnaire data which will enable the data to be added to the 'records' in Redcap. Records in Redcap is a term that refers to the unique id for all of the various data instruments held by any case in the data project.
