Thanks man!
Hi KC, good of you to address Rolex's AD's latest offerings.
Rolex AD's pre-owned offerings seemed to target buyers with those seeking assured conveniences in the brand with assurance confidence.
Their differentiated unique offering benefits from gray dealers are attractive for purchase considerations, even with possible disadvantages.
Best regards 🤓⌚👍
Hey Thomason, thanks for dropping by! I think you hit the nail on the head here. I for one, might also like to take that route for a peace of mind. Guilty as charged 🙈
Make that two, KC @@KCTimeShare !

My view could be different. The answer is on their website. Rolex is a marketing genius and to me , The white tag seems to mean something related to "funeral" or end. They also mention " a watch lives many lives" . in essence, Rolex may stop producing the stainless steel sports lineup and move up the ladder of precious metals targeting high-end customers. That coincides with the ridiculous pricing of their CPO lineup. I think they don't want average Joe walking in unless Joe can also afford a high-end watch. They also have shown empty looking Rolex ADs and the "exhibition plaque" in the last two years.
You have a very unique take here James. If that is really the case, I think Rolex would have priced me out completely 🥹
Will the preowned watches sold more expensive than the original price or otherwise
Yes, pre-owned watches will be sold at market price, at least from what I can see now.
Hi KC. Do you see this as the best way for me to finally get an Explorer 36mm? I'm not rich though! But I can save up the extra.
Hi John - Good to hear from you again! I think the Rolex Certified Pre-Owned ('CPO') watches have to be at least 3Y old, so I don't think you will find the 2021 36mm Explorer just yet. But when that become available in CPO eventually, the market might have changed and you might get your AD call already, who knows? Either way, having some extra savings to put toward your purchase wouldn't hurt. But if I ever go the pre-owned route, I think I wouldn't mind paying 'a little bit' more for the CPO watches just for the extra peace of mind, but that's just me (and I'm also not rich!). I hope this helps, cheers!
Rolex has already allowed for ADs to sell pre-owned Rolex for decades now. The only difference is some watches may be CPO now and even more expensive.
I knew that, I should have made it more clear in the video that I was referring to the pre-owned watches that are certified 'by' Rolex.
@KC Time Share i dont think this changes much at all.
1. It’s a shame to discard the original green box and original card.
2. I think Grey Dealers are viewed unfavorably by many people, and many were hoping Rolex would undercut prices on used watches, to shut down the Grey Dealers. But now the Rolex pricing shows they’re not bothered and don’t much care about customers being frustrated with exorbitant prices for used Rolex.
Rolex would rather own the higher-end portion of the used Rolex Market.
I hate to say it, but I think if I were to ever pay a premium, I would rather pay 'a bit' more to buy the Rolex certified pre-owned watches ... 🤦
