True, and it's a known issue. Thumbs down on the song that does not work as expected and you can also report it as a bug. The credits will be refunded sometimes. More details here : suno.com/blog/covers
While these programs are amazing, one thing it cannot do properly is recreate a distorted guitar sound. It all sounds very robotic and the leads all sound like a keyboard with notes that aren't always in chromatic order. Also, if you try to take a song apart by way of stems, you'll soon notice the vocals are the most prominent stem. the rest are all just mushed/mashed together almost like snipping a tape into piece and then trying to tape it all back together again. It just doesn't sound nice. While the majority of the world won't notice it, musicians like us definitely will.
I agree. And it has to do with the way AI models work. It's not sampling data or pulling a set number of samples and aligning them together. It's like a diffusion model that will guess the best possible note that will follow the previous note, based on how it was trained in the training data. That's the reason, Suno cannot give true stems because it didn't layer them as individual stems in the first place. It doesn't follow traditional music creation by humans.
2 Things I would like to see is clear Vocal Quality and if you get vocal you like be able to create songs using the same Vocal Type.. but yes this is cool Feature.
Most of the time i get the same song. any idea what i can do wrong? i tried making a hardstyle song to metal and it was just the original song. and when i tried it with EDM it did change one of the 2 generated songs to EDM but it kept like a big part of the song original
It's still in Beta version. So it's not perfect yet. Thumbs down on any generated track that comes out the same as the original, it helps the model understand that it was incorrect. Additionally, I would suggest you to create an acoustic cover of your original song first, by using the 'Acoustic guitar' tag in the 'style of music' box. Then use that acoustic cover song to create a cover in any style of music you want.
I have ambivalent feelings about the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in music. Many of my fellow musicians have yet to fully embrace these tools, and I understand their frustration, having initially experienced it myself. The ability to create a song in mere seconds is truly breathtaking. However, upon further exploration, I've discovered AI's potential as a tool for driving independent projects that I lack the resources to fund externally. Furthermore, AI has proven invaluable in creating complex musical arrangements, which, if attempted with a group, would be catastrophic without professional musicians at the helm. I firmly believe that AI offers endless possibilities
@@AIAutomationLabs AI tools are very intuitive, but you can get a lot out of them. I've been trying out new and more elaborate prompts and testing the limits of AI, and I haven't been disappointed with the results I created an AI-generated musical band as a personal joke, and the results astonished me. The project, initially intended as a game or excuse to release experimental music, the project resulted in six well-received albums.
What about changing lyrics with no ingerent to whole song? i would like to change some text in my previous songs, but there aren't any straight option for that. Does the "cover" option could help me? Help me to add some lyrics and stay with oryginal audio?
Sad, this is what I want too. But Udio have it, it is called Inpainting. So, I usually upload my Suno track in there that need adjustment then change some lyric parts.
Apologies if this was already answered somewhere, but is there any way to get suno to retain the speed of the original upload? I uploaded a song that's 120bpm, but almost every cover comes out minimum 80-90bpm and it's irritating. Thank you in advance!
The 'Style of music' influences a lot on the Cover output. You can try putting in '120 bpm' in the style of music along with your genre. But there's no guarantee that it will follow that. I usually take the output and edit it in a DAW.
@AIAutomationLabs thank you for the reply. I did try adding the bpm to my style write up and it works more often than not now😁 The only thing I need now is to get this thing to recognize that I'm asking for a Scottish male singer, not an English female😑 doesn't seem to distinguish one from the other.
I'm glad it was helpful.. For a Scottish male voice, you can use something like this in the style of music "Scottish folk, Scotland accent, male vocals"
very cool! it's good to be alive. CAn suno provide a wav file if you like the generation and separate the main vocal? so we could bring into fl studio for mixing.
@@YoungBlaze Ahh Sorry My bad. I thought he just wanted the WAV File. To answer the question, yes Suno gives the vocal, instrumental stems but they're not true stems. Its just Splitting the stems after the song is generated, which you can do any tool like Bandlab Splitter, RipX DAW, UVR etc.
I don't recall Suno having a 'remix' option. It's just 'Extend' Or 're-use prompt'. Remix is available in Udio AI. To adjust lyrics in Suno, just create a cover song by keeping the same genre and changing a few words in the custom lyrics section
@@AIAutomationLabs makes total sense. I made a lot of metal covers of famous songs. But strange it was no problem the standard way but when using Cover it wont work.
If you upload the original, it will give you an error like "copyrighted work detected". So better upload a different version of the song like a cappella, acoustic version and make a cover with Suno.
So can we upload a similar example of the song we want to do with vocals and combine the two?I mean,I want one to create a song similar in structure to another song?
'Similar' is a broad term. But if I understand correctly, you want to create a song in the style of someone. But not the exact same song. The covers feature will use the sample song you give it and it uses the same melody/chorus to make your new song. It's similar but similar in melody/chorus but not similar style.
Same song but different lyrics is working but very rarely. Even the official Suno blog says changing lyrics is not part of the Covers feature. I use the inpainting feature in Udio AI. But Suno AI doesn't have that feature yet. You can try to Create a cover, change a couple of words in the lyrics and keep the same genre in style of music.
Maybe it's just because I make my own music, but every AI song sounds the same to me and is easy to identify as AI. The tech is really not 'there' yet. A year from now? Maybe. But for now it's so easy to tell that it's AI generated (to me at least).
The AI is as good as the person using it. If you're already familiar with music and experienced with it. You can give your own beat samples ,melodies, your own vocal samples and see what Suno gives and take that output to make it even better with your own creativity. Music producers and songwriters are gonna have a ball with this one.
Great video! Subscribed. Could I cover the instrumental of a famous song, removing the singer's vocals beforehand? Like the song: Beat it, by Michael Jackson?
Thanks for the support!!. Yes. If you remove the vocals, it might sneak through the copyright check and upload successfully. Then you can just follow the steps like shown in this video and create a cover!
You can upload the song sample, add the new lyrics and give same genre like the original and submit. 1. If it's copyrighted song, the sample won't be uploaded. 2. Suno will hallucinate and go off track while trying to fit the new lyrics to the original song.
What if i want to generate vocal in any key or scale? Or what if i wanna import instrumental and make vocals into my own midi notes Or if i want to generate song in phrygian minor or dorian scale?. Yeah its not working.... 😢
Upload a sample with specific key, scale, BPM and use the "Extend" Feature. Suno will continue from the uploaded input sample with the same scale, BPM. Prompting it with keywords like Key, Scale, BPM rarely works with Suno because it hasn't been trained on specific Keys, Scale, BPMs. It doesn't even know what a BPM is. So it will depend on your input sample as context to further extend the song.

Puoi scaricare la canzone e separare le tracce vocali e strumentali utilizzando siti web come vocalremover.org o bandlab splitter. Se hai il piano a pagamento, Suno ti concede i diritti commerciali. Quindi puoi usare la canzone ovunque. Puoi distribuirla, venderla, trasmetterla in streaming, puoi fare tutto quello che vuoi con essa.
Maybe because you're on a Free Plan. As mentioned in the video, it's only available to Paid users at the moment. I think eventually it will be free for everyone.
While creating a cover you can enter specific prompts in style of music like "raspy male voice", " Ethereal female voice", "singer-songwriter" to get more realistic voices. Replacing is possible by inpainting feature but it's not available in Suno at the moment. I personally use Udio to make edits like correcting a word, replacing words etc.
Brother can you help me, I made a Hindi song with Suno AI, then uploaded it on RUclips, then the channel was removed. After that I emailed and appealed and got the channel. Removed after an hour. RUclips stated that the reason We use a combination of automated systems and human reviews to detect violations of our Community Guidelines. So what should be done for this now. Hope you can help me.
There could be 2 reasons: 1) You uploaded a copyrighted song and extended with Suno AI and the content ID on RUclips removed it. 2) The visuals/video you used in the music video were copyrighted and the content ID detected the visuals and removed it.
@@desailadhesh2161 i've seen people's video being removed by youtube with thousands of views. the reason youtube gave was that video was highly ai generated, almost all voice, images etc. were created by ai. so i think you need to be little bit creative, try to ai proof your lyrics, and if you could then try to change or correct you music a little bit.
Thank you for sharing. So far, this is the function I have been looking for. I am not a person who plays music, but I want to use my humming to turn it into music and accompaniment. I saw you uploaded a piece The guitar you play by yourself, if I just use the vocals to hum the melody, upload the file, and then add the lyrics myself, can it be converted into a melody? Also, if your beat is wrong, will suno automatically adjust it for you? Or is it possible to make any adjustments to a certain section of the generated music?
Yes you can upload your humming and if the AI finds a pattern, it will recognize the melody and use it as context to create your song. Upload your sample, add your lyrics and the genre you want and the AI will use your uploaded sample as context and create the full song for you with your own lyrics.
The Upload feature was available only for paid users while it was in Beta. But it was made available free for everyone after a couple of weeks. So i believe "Covers" Feature would be free for all too, eventually.
@@ugandaknuckles7082 Yeah man, it sucks. The upload feature was only one month in Beta and they released it for free for everyone after that. I don't know why they're keeping this Covers feature in Beta for so long.
For best results, give it a clean audio of atleast 30 seconds. It should also work with sample of 10 seconds too but I've noticed better results with a longer sample. More context, better output
As I mentioned in the video, It's a paid feature for now. Paid users have early access to it for Beta Testing. But it will be available for all free users too, when the beta testing is complete.

Hey Bro. If Suno has been trained on Indian music and they have tagged individual musical ragas, then we can use the same tags and get the desired melodies. But I'm sure if they have trained it so finely. I'll try a few prompts and let you know if anything works.!!
Cool but why is the main point of the app behind a paywall now, at that point make the app paid access in general, it would garner more loyal fans then if the payment was first. I remember when it first blew up you could generate songs for free for a while, that was something we should have valued…
The main point of the app is to create full songs from a simple text prompt. And that's still for free. Then there's also the Upload and Extend feature that allows you to create a full song from the uploaded sample. Everything else is still free. The covers feature is still in Beta testing and kind of Early access to Paid users. It will be available to everyone for free, when the beta testing is complete and the feature is ready to be used by everyone. They're giving free samples to Paid users to try out the feature without losing any credits from the balance. So you're not losing out on anything. Because the feature still makes a lot of mistakes in its Beta Phase.
Hopefully, yes. The 'Upload audio' feature was in Beta for one month only for Paid users but they made it free for everyone next month. So i guess it will be the same for the 'covers' feature too.
Yes. In this video I gave it my music sample. You can upload your voice sample and it will sing using your voice and layer the lyrics following the melody. For best results, give it up to 30 seconds of clean audio.
Hmm there are a few ways you can do this. 1. You can upload your own vocal sample with you singing any part of the song like chorus, melody etc. 2. You can use AI tools like Kits AI or Replay, Musicfy etc 3. You can separate the vocals using AI tools like bandlab splitter or UVR and then layer your own vocals in any DAW.
I've given it my music sample in this video. You can upload your beat or hum or you sing a melody, and use the Cover feature to get a full song. It's not available for Free users at the moment. Maybe in the future. But you can use Mureka AI which gives 6 free songs and allows you to upload your humming.
You can use the cover feature and give the same genre and change a small section of lyrics. But most of the time Suno will hallucinate trying to fit the new lyrics in the existing song. Or it will just ignore the new lyrics and sing the same old lyrics. I usually use Udio AI's inpainting feature to edit the lyrics. I hope Suno gets a feature like this in the future.
I like it, but I'm still a little sad about the quality. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely been improving in recent weeks, but the thing is, I'm always spending hundreds of credits to get something actually usable. In the case of instrumentals, it's not that bad, but the vocals are usually downright awful.
I understand. I usually edit and master it in a DAW after downloading the WAV file from Suno. But yes, it would be great if we get Udio like realistic sounding vocals.
@@AIAutomationLabs Yeah, I am mastering it too, but it's still not enough when there is so many flaws in source. There's also the problem of losing quality in the middle of the track or even changing the sounds of the instruments in the mix, which very much sabotages the overall impression of even good arrangements. And yeah, Udio is quite better in quality (especially acoustic genres) but it has many other flaws such as the inability to sequencing the parts consistently. But it's not entirely bad, I'm just terribly exaggerated when I can hear every detail in it already 😃
@@TheAvira123 DAW = Digital Audio workstation. There are many DAWs in the market like RipX, FL studio and some easy to use editing tools like Audacity, Bandlab etc. I've made few videos on RipX and Bandlab on my channel. I can make a separate video to show the workflow I use for Suno songs.
@@FreeContentLab Yeahh its a lot of work to improve Suno Vocals. Udio's vocal quality is amazing but it takes a lot of tries to find the exact melody that I like to hear. Clarity = Udio and Artistry = Suno
Thank you :) You can try using the keywords like "a cappella", but Suno doesn't like silence, it will layer with some music in the background. So i create the songs, then use Stem separator tools like Bandlab Splitter, vocal remover, to separate the vocals from the background music.
Yes. Just add the custom lyrics and in the style of music, give the same genre as the original instrumental. Suno will sing the lyrics with the instrumental in the background.
Sometimes it will give the same audio. Alternatively, You can use the "Extend" Feature. Pick a perfect timestamp from where you want the lyrics to start and add custom lyrics and click extend. Then combine the parts using the " get whole song" Button.
Do we know the legal situation around this? Like if I upload an acoustic work tape of an original of mine and ask it to spit out a fully produced version (whatever genre), does Suno have any rights to the master or anything like that?
If you're on any of the paid plans, you own anything generated from Suno. You own full commercial rights to your song. Just don't set it to Public. Keep it private and you can do whatever you want with it, distribute it, sell it, stream etc.
Different Instruments in Different Genres have Different Frequency Range. For Example : How a mouth whistle doesn't have bass at all just mid and high frequencies.
You can upload your own voice using the upload option and extend from it. Or you can download the song and replace the vocals with your own vocals using AI tools Kits AI (online) or Replay(locally on your PC)
Yes you can upload your song sample, write the lyrics in custom lyrics, give it the genre like fast rap, rap, gangsta rap etc and it will rap over it using your lyrics.
@@AIAutomationLabs I uploaded my song, and now I have no idea how to make ai rap and then add it to my song. I don’t think it’s possible. I’m a producer. I have tons of songs. I need a robot rapping on it. Even if I can get a rapper and then take the wav file I can put it in my DAW

I mixed a song AI song that was steamed though Suno
The vocals sound so horrible and it’s hard to recover it but hey, I tried
2 Things I would like to see is clear Vocal Quality and if you get vocal you like be able to create songs using the same Vocal Type.. but yes this is cool Feature.
Yess! we need Suno to have Realistic sounding vocals like Udio.
You can band-aid this by using AI vocal stem extraction, then using a singing voice conversion model, such as RVC, to convert to a preferred voice.
@@MarioManTV If that's possible, then Suno should integrate that process and do it automatically.
Dying to see the expression on Mick Jaggers face listing to this 😅😂
Maybe he finally can get some satisfaction 🎉
Lol now that would be interesting to watch 😅
Suno is definitely good app.
Yes :)
On the other hand, when we go up in the elevator in hotels, it’s perfect for elevator music, and it will also be good for retirement clubs.
Lol well, it's useful somewhere.
Do you have any idea, how this would be useful for new ideas? :O
(for recording the song with real instruments and vocals after then)
Yes endless possibilities :)
the more u use this tool the more you devalue your own production work, very bright future ahead for live musicians )
Yeah Live musicians and Songwriters are gonna have a great future.

Very good for indie game developers!
Yes true.
Now we are talking 👍

Still waiting for inpaint, it would be amazing to mix multiple generations so I don't need to make on FL Studio.
Yes. It's the most requested and most awaited feature and it will be amazing if we get it in Suno. Udio already has it.
@@AIAutomationLabs alr thx
I totally agree. If you're already a musician and you know what you're doing with music, you can create some extraordinary stuff with AI.
@@AIAutomationLabs AI tools are very intuitive, but you can get a lot out of them. I've been trying out new and more elaborate prompts and testing the limits of AI, and I haven't been disappointed with the results
I created an AI-generated musical band as a personal joke, and the results astonished me. The project, initially intended as a game or excuse to release experimental music, the project resulted in six well-received albums.
Wow.. That's awesome!!
What about changing lyrics with no ingerent to whole song? i would like to change some text in my previous songs, but there aren't any straight option for that. Does the "cover" option could help me? Help me to add some lyrics and stay with oryginal audio?
You can give it a try. I've tried it but it just skips the newly added word. Let me see if I can get a solution for that.
Sad, this is what I want too. But Udio have it, it is called Inpainting. So, I usually upload my Suno track in there that need adjustment then change some lyric parts.
So you could technically just import a melody which is as simple as if it was played by piano and then boom make it epic master piece?
Lol yeah
Apologies if this was already answered somewhere, but is there any way to get suno to retain the speed of the original upload? I uploaded a song that's 120bpm, but almost every cover comes out minimum 80-90bpm and it's irritating. Thank you in advance!
The 'Style of music' influences a lot on the Cover output. You can try putting in '120 bpm' in the style of music along with your genre. But there's no guarantee that it will follow that. I usually take the output and edit it in a DAW.
@AIAutomationLabs thank you for the reply. I did try adding the bpm to my style write up and it works more often than not now😁
The only thing I need now is to get this thing to recognize that I'm asking for a Scottish male singer, not an English female😑 doesn't seem to distinguish one from the other.
I'm glad it was helpful.. For a Scottish male voice, you can use something like this in the style of music "Scottish folk, Scotland accent, male vocals"
@@AIAutomationLabs thank you again☺️ I'll try those and see if that'll get more of what I'm looking for.
Pl3ase make a video on how you make the music video
Sure. I'll make a video on it
very cool! it's good to be alive. CAn suno provide a wav file if you like the generation and separate the main vocal? so we could bring into fl studio for mixing.
Yes, after your song is generated, Click on the three dots -> Download -> WAV Audio
@AIAu I think he was asking can you get the stems tomationLabs
@@YoungBlaze Ahh Sorry My bad. I thought he just wanted the WAV File. To answer the question, yes Suno gives the vocal, instrumental stems but they're not true stems. Its just Splitting the stems after the song is generated, which you can do any tool like Bandlab Splitter, RipX DAW, UVR etc.
What happened to Remix? I had a song turn out right but I need to adjust the lyrics. It used to be super simple. How is it done now?
I don't recall Suno having a 'remix' option. It's just 'Extend' Or 're-use prompt'. Remix is available in Udio AI.
To adjust lyrics in Suno, just create a cover song by keeping the same genre and changing a few words in the custom lyrics section
Now Suno has the "Replace Section" Feature launched recently that might help in your case.
Anyone knows why I get the message, "song violates Sunos content moderation policy" when trying to make a cover?
Maybe you're using a copyrighted song Or copyrighted lyrics.
@@AIAutomationLabs makes total sense. I made a lot of metal covers of famous songs. But strange it was no problem the standard way but when using Cover it wont work.
Maybe because it has the full context of the song while creating the cover and it triggers the copyright checks.
How to make cover of existing song, example Michael Jackson "Thriller" - it's possible with Suno ?
If you upload the original, it will give you an error like "copyrighted work detected". So better upload a different version of the song like a cappella, acoustic version and make a cover with Suno.
So can we upload a similar example of the song we want to do with vocals and combine the two?I mean,I want one to create a song similar in structure to another song?
'Similar' is a broad term. But if I understand correctly, you want to create a song in the style of someone. But not the exact same song. The covers feature will use the sample song you give it and it uses the same melody/chorus to make your new song. It's similar but similar in melody/chorus but not similar style.
With which tool did you create the videos that accompany the music? They look awesome!
Sure. One was in Blender.. And others are available on Stock Video websites.
May I ask, how do you regenerate the same song melody (same genre example:rock) but different lyrics?
Same song but different lyrics is working but very rarely. Even the official Suno blog says changing lyrics is not part of the Covers feature. I use the inpainting feature in Udio AI. But Suno AI doesn't have that feature yet.
You can try to Create a cover, change a couple of words in the lyrics and keep the same genre in style of music.
I wish there was a stand alone pluggin that doesn't need internet connection that does this, this would be Amazing 😮😮😮
Oh yes!! If we could integrate this into any local DAW. That would be perfect.
have you thought about the computational power and reference database required to do this?
@@mwl78rwe If Suno or Udio make it Open source or release their API, it can be achieved
@@mwl78rwe Hmmm .. good challenge to solve
Complex songs are still a problem. But like, pop music, damn.. I can make it true hits easily...
True. It's not perfect for complex songs. But hey it's something to play around with.
How can i upload full song in SUNO to get example/idea of full cover song? Because i only can upload max. 1 minute song.
Yeah at the moment, two minutes is the limit for Paid users. And 1 minute for free users. Maybe they'll extend it more in future.
@AIAutomationLabs owh, i hope so. Thanks for sharing
Do you have any way to create BUDOTS-style music using Suno?
I think Budot's style is not in the training data. But you can take any Dance, EDM music, and remix it in any music editing software or DJ softwares.
Do I need the paid plan for covering?
Yes, at the moment, it's only available to Paid users.
Can you do with a OG song that really exist?
When you upload a song, Suno will check for copyright. But you can either change the speed or pitch of the song, so that Suno doesn't recognize it.
Does anybody know with wich tool the video where the camera flies over this planet landscape at 1:38 was made?
Blender
How can i change the lyrics on a popular song. No change rhythm, only lyrics? Please
Or what if i wanna import instrumental and make vocals into my own midi notes
Or if i want to generate song in phrygian minor or dorian scale?.

Puoi distribuirla, venderla, trasmetterla in streaming, puoi fare tutto quello che vuoi con essa.

what to do about ai voice? about replacing or correcting a word in it?
There could be 2 reasons:
1) You uploaded a copyrighted song and extended with Suno AI and the content ID on RUclips removed it.
2) The visuals/video you used in the music video were copyrighted and the content ID detected the visuals and removed it.
I have not committed any kind of mistake from these two. I am aware of youtube rules.@@AIAutomationLabs

Thank you for sharing. So far, this is the function I have been looking for. I am not a person who plays music, but I want to use my humming to turn it into music and accompaniment.

Can you take like voice samples and have Suno use your voice and put it to music?
Yes. In this video I gave it my music sample. You can upload your voice sample and it will sing using your voice and layer the lyrics following the melody. For best results, give it up to 30 seconds of clean audio.
I want to change the voices in my SUNO song to something more personal, like my own voice, because some of the voices currently used feel too generic.
Hmm there are a few ways you can do this.
1. You can upload your own vocal sample with you singing any part of the song like chorus, melody etc.
2. You can use AI tools like Kits AI or Replay, Musicfy etc

How can i change the lyrics but to keep the same audio?
You can use the cover feature and give the same genre and change a small section of lyrics. But most of the time Suno will hallucinate trying to fit the new lyrics in the existing song. Or it will just ignore the new lyrics and sing the same old lyrics.
I usually use Udio AI's inpainting feature to edit the lyrics. I hope Suno gets a feature like this in the future.
honestly I don't like the fact that it requests your phone number, like what is the point?
Just login with your google account or discord. You don't have to give them the phone number. It's an optional field.
@@AIAutomationLabs Tell me more about DAW. I'd like to refine those bad robotic sounding voices asap 😅

Yes. Sometimes I feel like Suno and Udio should collab and make a new tool with the best features from each one. Best of both worlds.

Yes. Just add the custom lyrics and in the style of music, give the same genre as the original instrumental. Suno will sing the lyrics with the instrumental in the background.
