Haikyuu helped me cure my anxiety back in 2015, I was in 9th grade and I was having a lot of anxiety about life and such, with panic attacks.
When watching it I would distract from my thoughts and anxiety wouldnt come that much.
I bought a volleyball (a cheap one you buy from a local supermarket) and would go outside in the afternoon to practise alone with the cold in the air, it made me feel so alive. This songs makes me remember that beautiful feeling.
Somehow I felt so alive doing it. It was a small country next to my house (since I live in a hill) and the orange-pink colour of the sky was everything. I could also see the sea thanks to the height from the hill. This song reminds me of those times.
I started a volleyball group with some friends in school and a beautiful teacher who spent extra hours teaching us how to play, and she would borrow us the volleyball net to hang between some trees, since the school court would be occupied by other P.E groups.

Sounds amazing! I used to play volleyball when I was smaller in school and I went to volleyball lessons, but I never felt confident enough to continue doing it. Haikyuu reminded me of those times and brought back memories :) I am glad things are better with you now.

I think the irish feel comes in when the time signature changes to 6/8 in the middle and right at the end

Oh my goooosh I'm having a major nostalgia trip listening to these Haikyuu ending songs. Back when I first watched Haikyuu, I lived in the countryside and everything was so peaceful and warm there, I miss being in the countryside :( , and Haikyuu was such a motivator for me, both emotionally and physically. Ugh I love this anime so much. Haikyuu and Run With the Wind really be on my top tier Sports anime.
Yes, Run with the Wind and Haikyuu are also some of my favorite sports anime. I look back fondly on those shows because they were very comforting to watch, I'm glad they touched so many people.
