I appreciate that the animation of this opening actually matches the text. Like how Hinata and Kageyama take a deep breath at the start and then at the left foot part, you see everyone in the karasuno team actually put forward their left foot.
I think this song (and a lot of the songs for Haikyuu) were made specifically for the anime, since the lyrics kinda line up with a lot of the themes/actions in the series (“fly high” for example).
Whenever I hear this song, there's only one scene popping in my mind. Seijoh Match, and Sugawara raises the number 9 to be substitute for Kageyama. Best part for me.

This song and THE SCENE when the camera moves through the streets and ends in the Sendai City Gymnasium... just makes me tear up everytime I recall it; and of course [personally] Oikawa's smirk then when he looked at Iwa there's this sweet, innocent smile... in my mind it's as if that's their most memorable LAST moment - y'know a memory that one will always recall... (Last, meaning, the last time when they were playing volleyball together (high school) and Oikawa's nationality is still Japanese).
