Yeah man my first thought before even seeing the car "the arm is DONE FOR" how did it survive🤣 I think some HPI rigs are much better than some people think they are, great TOUGH rigs!
Good video. Nice bash session all the way through until you smashed into the tree surround thing. 😂 That was definitely a hard hit. Luckily, nothing worse was broken.
Tell me about it, I was having such a good clean session and then a slight miss judgement or getting too excited and SMASH strait into something I knew was there all along🥴 Not the first and I doubt it'll be the last time doing something like that🤣 Yes im very glad it's somewhat of a simple and cheap fix. Thanks Tim✌️
Thanks mate! I never measured anything I just got a bit of paper thin clear plastic and marked out a basic shape and the screw positions, cut and drill then trace onto a 2mm carbon sheet, I use a jigsaw to cut out the carbon. The actual dimensions are whatever the gaps are between the screw points. I am sorry, I am terrible at measuring anything so I don't🤦
Hey. Getting my first Vorza tomorrow and watched almost every vid on yt about them. Can you buy chassi stiffeners like that, and skid plates? And what tires are you running? Love the videos mate. Best regards from Norway. Yes, Im a rc virgin.
So sorry for the late reply mate. Great to hear you decided to get a Vorza, awesome rigs! I'm not quite sure if any companies make actually skids or centre braces like mine but they are very easy to make with just hand tools, polycarbonate is tough as and super easy to work with👌 I do sometimes make parts for people but only if it's within Australia. Thanks mate and sorry again😊
I had to get another stock one, the hot bodies version seems to be out of stock basically everywhere here in Australia, if I was to purchase internationally it would be so expensive with taxes and postage. Stock one will be find as long as I stay away from obstacles😅 Thanks
Very lucky to be just a hinge pin and brace, don't know how the swingarm survived😆 They are AMAZING rigs, HPI is still at the top for me😁 Thanks Dylan👍
This one looks way better with those front shocks ! Stock it seems to sit just to low. Do you guys know or recommend a center chassis brace to buy for it ?
Yes the stiffer springs helped heaps👌 I don't know of any factory made braces, I'll possibly have a few of my designed carbon braces soon but still waiting on manufacturer to get started.
Almost all of my braces are DIY. I just hold some cardboard next to wherever I need the braces and draw a nice looking shape that fits. Cut and trace onto polycarbonate or carbon fibre and then cut that out with a jigsaw. Any inner corners I drill out with a 5mm bit before cutting the brace.
that was an awesome save bud on 3:40 👍👍
Honestly I don't think that was a save just pure luck😅
Awesome video! He Vorza was ripping man! 😂 I was cracking up when you blasted the tree! Happens to the best of us 👍
Thank man🤘
For pretty much box stock it definitely rips!
And yes that it, it happens, if you bash around objects don't cry when you hit one🤣🤦
That tree had all that space to be in, but chose to be right in your bash-track 🙈🤣 Great video brother ‼️👍👍🦾🦾
You can look at it that way I guess🤔🤣
Thanks Dome🤪✌️
Awesome vorza !
Gutted dude! Its shows how tough those truggys are though! Shocked the arm didnt break!

Ouch mate I’m shocked that was all that broke. Another awesome day out 😁
Yeah mate love bashing the HPIs😍
And yeah how did the arm not snap in half🤯
HPI tough🦾🤣
Thanks Michael✌️
Fantastic rip around and awesome jumps, shame about the damage dude, still what a great day 😎👌👍👍👍
Thanks mate✌️
I think I'm still surprised the arm survived😆
Always a great day when it involves RCs😁
Nasty impact lol gotta love this hobby ha ha👍👍
Yeah I'm sure my heart skipped a beat on that one😵
And yes definitely love this hobby, more of a lifestyle for me though😅
Thanks for watching mate👍

@@rccrazy Yeah, it's been a while since you crashed into the base of a tree.
Nice man just a reminder the old hinge pin braces from the old vorza buggy work for it and can be found on Jenny’s rc for cheap
Yes I have one waiting to go on the car just need to get a new hinge pin🤦
Can't wait to get it back together, it's a BEAST!
Thanks for watching mate👍
That was rough bro. Another good vid Aussie style 💪
Definitely rough😬
I knew were it was in my mind but just miss judged, comes with driving around objects I guess😅
Thanks Brett👍
Yep.. that's bent! 😂
Good sends mate 👍
Oh yeah did a number on the hinge pin🤣
Been loving the Vorza, can't leave it broken too long😅
Thanks mate👍
As always..awesome video!
Thanks heaps Joey😁👍
Can you maybe make or post the dimensions or document to recreate the carbon plates for the chassis? Thx. Also subbed, great videos
Thanks mate!

Check for part # 66211 ( hot bodies ) fits directly

@@rccrazy Not running into things 🤔 sounds good haha. Maybe doubling the stock one could be an option. Love the channel following from Canada 😉
With slightly longer pins
Definitely an option, dual hinge pin brace, super tough💪😆
Oh and thank you!
Oh man
Harsh hey😱 oops🤣
Hard crash mate 😂 good thing it's minimal damage seems to be a beefcake rig and looks to handle amazing
Very lucky to be just a hinge pin and brace, don't know how the swingarm survived😆

what tires are you running on your Vorza?
They are Louise T-Pirate 1/8 wheels.
I'm a massive fan of the race style tyres, not a fan of the big chunky moto tread🤷
What is that support brace? Can you do a video on it?
Almost all of my braces are DIY.
I just hold some cardboard next to wherever I need the braces and draw a nice looking shape that fits.
Cut and trace onto polycarbonate or carbon fibre and then cut that out with a jigsaw.
