I'm that nigga
In the US it’s called lobbying but in other countries it’s called bribe
Other countries have lobbying.
@carlover4239 yes they call it bribes
@@carlover4239 and we call it bribes and it's illegal. Have you ever lived outside the USA?
@@CesarAnton Did I say I lived in the USA? how old are you? Do you actually not understand that many other countries have literal lobbying?
@@carlover4239 22 countries have legalized and regulated bribery calling it "lobbying", it's particularly common on former UK colonies.
In a world where its all about, "who you know". We shouldn't expect any people in power to improve the system, they're not there based on merit, they're just a face to represent the capital.
The production quality of your videos just keep getting better
We try. Thanks!

Can I just give yet another shoutout for the production of these videos!
Incredible, man 👏
🫶🏽 thanks, man! Trying to push the level with every video. Glad you notice :)

"Citizens United" is a nightmare.
I'm convinced that what we often perceive as representative democracy might actually be a carefully crafted facade. These systems, while designed to appear and function as true representative democracies, seem to fall short. They are more inclined towards safeguarding the interests of the wealthy and powerful, particularly within political parties. This approach subtly undermines the genuine representation of the populace's needs and voices, raising questions about the authenticity of our democratic processes.
have you even read the federalist papers?
Well the first problem is believing this is a democracy. This is a republic that uses a democratic process to choose leaders. The second problem is the concerted effort to concentrate power in the federal government. There are many issues that can, and should, be handled within the individual states. But too many people are not willing to accept that everyone is not forced into the same mold. They can't tolerate that Georgia might be different from California. Even though this would provide people a greater chance to live somewhere that is more in line with their particular views. But this is something that is never discussed.
@@gavinshickle1814 America is a federal republic never a democracy as Switzerland. States should have more autonomy for sure. Both President and Congress should be more contained.
I just found this channel a couple weeks ago, and I'm very glad I did. This channel is great. Keep it up.
Welcome! You’ve skipped ahead years of not so great videos- but most of last year’s stuff we’re very proud off.

Amazingly well explained, recorded and edited.
Thank you, good sir
Seriously, the editing is marvelous.
Thanks for the good video. This should be part of a PolySci curriculum.
Loved this video, super informative and well explained. Thanks team!

a politician it’s a shame
that you got to teach the children
everything is corrupt
Pelosi was just asked in a press conference about stock trading for members of congress should be illegal.
Of course she answered it's a free market and they should be allowed to participate. Pelosi is the best stock trader in the world btw.
Coincidently she trades a lot of stocks of companies which benefited from some government regulation or subsidies.
Aunt Nan is an oligarch, and 90% of *all* the congress critters do this. Lori Bo also out performed the S&P last year. Both parties are stacked with corporate goons, and there are a dozen other corporate goons ready to take their place if We the People ever fall for the term limit trap. There are very few people in government, local, state, or federal, who are not looking out for themselves far more than they are the Common Good. I challenge anyone to name one person who fits that description, and has an R after their name
Wow, this channel went a long way!

Limiting the money in politics is impossible. The better solution is to limit the power of politicians so that there is less power for money to purchase.
It's not impossible, you're just too ignorant to know how and assume it's impossible.
Hope we get politicians which aren't sellouts
“all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others”
Every citizen should watch this. Bravo on this video! Bravo!
Amongst all of the amazing content that you and your team have produced, this is some of the best
the youtube algo not doing justice to this video and this channel ngl

By the way if you like recommendations.
Than you should start doing video on politics too as business and politics go hand in hand.
These video production is now on par with Nerdwriter1. These are getting better
As a years-long fan of Nerdwriter1, this has made my day. Thank you.

Veew-very interisting video! Many thanks
Do votes in America depend on how much money each voter gives politicians, then? The poor can't vote?
Actually yes if you are homeless for example you aren’t voting because you need a address to vote also even if you aren’t poor and just working class elected officials only talk to lobbyists me not who they represent a lot of politicians don’t even hold meetings with who the represent anymore to busy getting campaign “donations”
@@brianvieira157 That is not what I mean. I mean are citizens' votes just like shareholder votes where the power of each vote depends on how much money were given to the government or politicians? Coz that is not democracy to me when the vote of poor people are distinguished and different from the vote of wealthy people in elections.
Amazing video as always ladies and gentleman! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Can't express my appreciation. Amazing work
this video was frickin awesome. bravo
thank you
Myself and some others have created a start up, with it being a tech company within the gym and fitness/physiotherapy field, there is a pitching competition coming up associated with our university under the IEEE, which we are hoping to use as a springboard to take off with our products idea, however as we are in the early stages of product development, one of the concerns for our pitchdeck is asking how much we would want, realistically in our current stage we arent exactly looking for investors yet per say, as our product can be grown with very minimal costs until wider expansion is required, however this slide is a key requirement for this particular requirement, so my question to anyone who could help (would really appreciate any feedback) would be to ask how could determine how much is an acceptable amount to ask for the sake our pitch deck, assuming that our start up is within the Triple F / pre seed phase.
Nice vid dude.
Thanks!
I sometimes watch your videos just because of the production quality, even though I may not be interested in the topic.
You just described the life goal of any RUclipsr 🫶🏽

well done

as expected of united corporate of america. . . it's pretty much an auction
if you don't know about WEF "stakeholder capitalism", learn what it actually will mean underneath its rosy blather.
Soma animals are more equal than others.
"Communities of interest" don't even need to actively conspire.
Why don't you guys get more views, i mean these are really good. Lol makes me lose hope a little for my channel , but I'm sure you'll catch on soon enough
Thanks. Just hoping the algo eventually agrees with you.
Bump for awareness.
More videos on this
the ak joke was funny lmaoooo
🔫
That's not what "begs the question" means.
The worst part of this video was "see you next week" I know you guys don't have time, but I can't stop thinking about the money trust investigations and how much of it hasn't been adequately covered by regulations in over 100 years!
You can have my vote for that. It's mathematically useless to vote.
It's bad RAP, not rep. Rap sheet, not reputation.
🔥🔥🔥
I wish somebody offered to buy my vote.
Simply, your vote doesn't matter. Lol.
Just ask the Democrats. They're experts.
Yep, vote for Tweedledee, not Tweedledum.
International gambles ("investors") never dictate what countries do.
Families and companies that have been around for up tp over a thousand years play no part, right?
If it looks like feels like bribery then no doubt it’s bribery
Nothing surprises anymore
Lobbying is legalized bribery. Campaign spending should be equal for all candidates and paid by the goverment. Otherwise you are just selling goverment favors.
Exactly 👆🏼
Hey, we have the best government money can buy.
No, Brian Chesky is the best CEO of this generation. Why? Because he speaks like a person before and after his success. (Or he's just best conartist)
Videos on this channel can be half as long and still cover all the data. Trimming the fat will increase subscriber engagement.
Let's go all in on an AIPAC episode 👀
Never gonna happen lmfao I mean even I get scared to simply point out the genocide publicly, considering they lobby to get people fired for speaking out on social media
Only people who don't understand anything can be unhappy about businesses funding politics :D politics is precisely what supports and helps businesses. Once that's not the case, the country can be considered gone.. because the people who produce and create stuff are no longer supported by the government.
Usted es tico???
Sí, mae! De hecho aparte de las tomas en DC, casi todo lo grabamos en nuestra ofi en La Sabana.

Can Citizens United be reversed?
That was actually a reversal on another law… so, unlikely.
For sime time, I can draw comparisons between the US and a third world country. Bribed gouvernement, a huge poverty and drug problem, and isanely rich top percentile that gets all the benefits. What is going on over there?
Everybody should be able to buy an AK-…🤣

Did you just imply planned parenthood, who do amazing things for the community, and the NRA... are ... the same?!?!?!
well, they do both support the offing of human lives using violence.
Its called the NGO Industrial Complex... just because the all claim to have some sort of noble cause doesn't mean their using said cause to make massive amount of money for the executives on top of each organization.
Such a well-made explainer 🤌
