how do u like that carvin head that is the one that can run 6l6 or el34 power tubes right? does it have enough gain with out a overdrive? thoughts thanks bro awesome video about the warmoth necks!
Not sure if you mentioned that roasted maple is more stable and less prone to warping vs regular maple. And new warmoth necks may require minor fret leveling, which some people aren't aware of.
I would go with the vintage modern construction unless you want an exotic wood. Some of those are only available with modern construction it seems. The showcase is a great way to get options that Warmoth doesn’t typically offer, as they sell some of their trial necks and bodies there.
I have been looking for either a roasted maple or darker wood gibson scale with rosewood or ebony board with 59 round back forever in the show case and can never find what i want. I think i will have to suck it up and just order it i wish i would see what the wood looked like though before hand
@@graysguitars5113 which headstock style? There's a roasted maple strat style there now, along with several mahogany/rosewood fretboard tele style necks (conversion and 59 round back), along with some pricy flamed roasted maple...
@@kitoyobeni1 I look everyday and I'm fine with the strat headstock. All that's there right now is a plain roasted maple with roasted maple fret board. It's too light for the guitar I want to put it on. I don't like the neck on my warmoth I bought second hand.

My squire toranado is 25 1/2 in. Instead of the 24 3/4 like they're claiming. Is that right. Are some spec. to longer scale. If so I'm considering replacement. If the pocket will fit. Any help would be appreciated
I was suprised my standard thin strat neck profile is more D shape than a C shape. I ordered a standard thin. The more I play it the more Im liking it. Also I ordered it for fender tuners but the pin locating holes were not drilled. Im not sure if you can order for these to be added

That is fair and they don't do fret work so if it is bad you can expect another 100 bucks easy. I usually try to find what i want in the showcase because it is cheaper.
Well.....that about covers it! Nice vid!
Thank you Warmoth
I've been 100% satisfied with Warmoth products.
thank you for the info my dude. 🤘🏻
You're welcome
Nice video my friend
I love how you call it 'Trust rod'. It is a rod that you need to trust to not snap while messing about with it 😂
Exactly

it has an ok amount of gain but the peavey 6505 blows it out of the water, I usual put an overdrive in front of it for more metal tones.

@@graysguitars5113 I've been looking for a darker strat neck myself, maybe wenge.
My mustang neck from 1999 is still the best , the action attainable on mine is so low that it defy logic
By the way, loving the HOG t-shirt. I shop there every Friday for new CD releases.
Thanks my brother use to go to college out there and I always loved stopping in the store.

I would measure that again the newer ones should be 24 3/4. To me it looks like a regular strat pocket.

Yeah that is interesting maybe you got a defect or they were heavy on the sander.
@@graysguitars5113 Im not sure. The new Fender Ultra necks are a D shape so maybe it is to match up with thoes necks
I have a tele player, neck pocket depth 19mm, so it's to deep for Warmoth Conversion which is ,16mm.
Carvin guitars used a 25" scale length.
did not know that
