Agree at all. He is a very smart and perfect technique player, the spikes are shaped and good location, l also believe he can release the pressure of Ishikawa.

gosh yanagida is rlly amazing. his form, his decision-making and the way he always plays smart is so impressive. he'll forever remain as one my my favorite players.

yes ran takahashi and otsuka is talented and a good player.those two player still young. but they lack something that yanagida can offer. i dont see yanagida in japan national team , dont know why, maybe he not get selected so the young talent to get a chance to play but i hope to see yanagida back in japan national team again.

And i do remember there was that match where he played terribly and had to be taken off team.... He is old in sports age though so not surprised, the coach might prefered younger ones now to train them as to better investment in the longer run.
JVA should really have to include Yanagida again as NT team. Erase those who question his blockings, serving and height or even his age coz after the Olympics 20, he keeps on slapping them with awards and performances.
ran takahashi and otsuka are really good players. yanagida is a brainy spiker. as the volleyball director of japan say, yanagida is not good with his blocks or he is not good enough enough to be in the olympic roster this year which saddens most of the japan vb fans. ran is a good player. he played libero when he started volleyball and now plays outside hitter for the all japan vb team and again, a libero for pallavolo padaova with the same jersey number as yuki ishikawa. i believe every player has their strengths and weaknesses. 👍🏻
