as a kid who grew up in this era I can't even explain how big stone cold was. watching old matches on youtube really doesn't do it justice, you really had to be there and watch him in that moment to really understand. the world was so different back then.
Dude i reminisce so much i was born in 92 and was so glad to be 5 or 6 years old watching the attitude era. Had King of The Ring 98' on a Block Buster video tape and would watch it all the time.
Ahhh I missed this era by like 4 years!!! I started watching wrestling during WM 20.. Austin was still around but he wasn’t wrestling anymore! There will never be another Attitude era!!

Him hailing from an unknown (to the rest of the world) part of one of the most famous American states is an eye for the small details that builds an identity that can be communicated with the audience.
Another thing that was absolutely perfect for his character & a massive part of getting him over big time was the Stone Cold Stunner. Just like the RKO , the fact that you can hit it from totally out of the blue and anywhere in the ring on any opponent no matter the size makes it a awesome finish. Once that the crowd ALWAYS screamed the loudest for.

I just watch the full episode of the BIOGRAPHY n i cried, for 24 years now ive been a fan n back then there were no superhero movies he is our superhero, the BIOGRAPHY really reflects our childhood memories much simpler times no BS days, he talked bout his family n his daughters, that really shook me, we never new he was in so much pressure leading the company. His greatness reached to places like my hometown MANIPUR, a small poor state in the far eastern most part of India bordering burma. Part of me is really excited for this, part of me is worried about what WWE's alternate historians are going to change in these documentaries. Like for example, citing that Austin 3:16 promo as an immediate jump to the top (for those that don't remember, he still had months hanging around in the midcard before his feud with bret hart really shot him up to being the larger than life superstar we know today.) But seeing Jim Ross in the video does make me hopeful that the correct story is going to be told considering he currently works for WWE's biggest current rival company at the moment.

I worked at a gym in 1996 in San Antonio. Steve worked out there and we used to talk after every work out. He was always respectful and acted well. Shawn Michael worked out there also and one day I heard two men screaming at each other.i went to check it out and Steve and Shawn were face to face,I turned around and got out of there as quick as I could!!!
I wish Bret Hart had stayed to have a dream match at WM14 with Bret vs Austin Pt.2 and Bret loses to Austin in honour then leaves. That would have been amazing.

Crazy to see history repeating itself back in November 1999 A&E did biographies on Austin, Foley, Andre the Giant and Owen Hart.
It’s amazing how he went from Hollywood Blonde to one of the biggest wrestlers of all time. Almost as big As Hogan.
