Sri Sathya Sai Students (Alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Educational Institutions) are organizing an evening program entitled “SAMARPAN” on the 4th Sunday of every month at Sivam, Hyderabad. It is about re-living those moments spent with HIM, re-connecting with HIM and soaking in the Divine presence. We have an opportunity to listen to the Leelas of the Lord from the devotees who were blessed with Divine association through “SAMARPAN”
The #129 SAMARPAN is being held at SIVAM on the evening of 24th December 2023. We are truly blessed to have in the "Dhanya Jeevulu" series, Sri KVLN Seeta Rama Sarma as the speaker for the day.
Sri KVLN Seeta Rama Sarma served Bhagawan since 1950s, an old-time devotee for over 6 decades. He is popularly called as "Rambabu" at Sivam, Hyderabad; is born on 15th October 1954, to pious couple Late Sri K Ramakrishna Rao and Smt KB Mahalakshmi. Sri KVLN Seeta Rama Sarma has studied MA in Public Administration and worked as an Associate Professor in Public Administration for 30 years. He occupied pivotal positions while at work such as Controller of Examinations, and Principal to Government City College, Joint Director and RJD of Commissionerate of College Education, Director of AP Hindi Academy, Member - Academic Senate Osmania University, and adorned various committees at the Board of Intermediate Education for three decades. He also acted as Nominee of AP State government, APSCHE on various inspection committees.
Sri KVLN Seeta Rama Sarma had the greatest good fortune of being the first few who had received the membership of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation from the Divine hands of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He was a Founder Trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Bhakta Seva Sangh Trust, and Sri Sathya Sai Books & Publications Trust. He is still an active Sevadal member as he carries on his shoulders a great reverence of his service activities at Summer courses at Brindavan, Grama seva, Medical camps, Water projects, Gujarat Earthquake relief service, Educational related activities of Sri Sathya Sai Trust such as free tutorials, conducting competitions for school and college students. He was associated and played a lead role in Mass Upanayanams and lead committees during Bhagawan’s Birthday celebrations from 50th Birthday to 80th Birthday. He has played an important role in all the visits of Bhagawan to Hyderabad. He cherishes lots of memories with Swami and could relate in to the day to day activities translating his experiences in to action. With an eye for detail, he had been an inspiration to Sevadal both at Sivam and at Prasanthi Nilayam carving a mark for himself as an epitome to the dictum - Service to man is Service to God.
Presently, Sri KVLN Seeta Rama Sarma serves as In-charge for educational activities in the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations and coordinates activities of Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini. He lives with his wife Smt. Lakshmi Kameswari and his married son, Sri Sai Krishna. His daughter Smt. Sathya Deepika who is married and blessed with two sons lives in USA.
