    Brian, cracking video. I can't find any decent motorcycle places, here in the UK. Any chance you could hop on a plane and bring your PBR chain tool with you, pretty please.......

    Hey Brian! Love your videos, as always! are you running launch control on this R7? if so, which one?

      I am not using any launch control on the R7. Personally I find the twins super easy to launch well. - Van

    Great video! If I cut my new chain one link too short, do you think I can use two riveted master links or should I just buy a new chain?

    Hey Van, do you plan on installing a SpeedoHealer on the R7 with it being a race bike? since I use mine for street riding I was planning on installing it, If I do and I am not concerned with the top speed recall, can I just not wire that cable in, or does the speedo healer need it wired in to function properly.

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  Год назад +1

      I do not have any plans to install a speedo healer on the R7 as it is track only now. We did install one of these a long time ago on our R3 Project Bike. I am pretty sure you can do the install without the top speed recall but am not 100% sure. When in doubt always best to follow the instructions. - Van

    Hello mr Van, is it okay to use the screw type master link on a 1000cc sportbike?
    Thanks in advance

      In theory I am sure it is fine. I only use rivet links of 600 and up. - Van

    Hey question. After installing this new chain and sprocket. Will I also need to install the healtech speedohealer v4?

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  7 месяцев назад +1

      No the R7 uses the wheel speed sensors to calculate speed so changing the gearing does not cause the speedo to read incorrectly. - Van

    What size sprocket did you go ? As im look at doing the 520 chain

    • @sportbiketrackgear
      @sportbiketrackgear  6 месяцев назад +1

      I ended up going with a 16 tooth front and a 44 tooth rear to get a little more drive out of the corner. I think this would be a good change on the street as well. - Van
