The bass tone is amazing, very nice! Thanks for the good lesson!~
My pleasure, I'm glad you liked it...thanks!
wow i've loved that song for decades. such a cool bass line! i never realized ...
hehe...I love rediscovering tunes like that. Bowie's "Space Oddity" was one for me. I grew up with that tune but never realized how good the bass line was until I transcribed it.
@@BassCovers hey i play the bass line to ‘starman’ by bowie. have you played it? if not, you definitely want to check it out, it’s super fun.
@@jimdiskin3760 I will...thanks for the tip :)
@@BassCovers hey i promise you’ll enjoy it. definitely a cool bass line - an important part of the song too.
now you’ve got me listening to this lobo song again. so good !
My favorite Lobo song! So glad I found this channel.

Hi A Badidou...you're welcome :)
Aqui no Brasil o "KLB" regravou essa música... 1.000 vezes a versão em inglês... kkkkk! Ótimo trabalho!
Hey Rodolpho :) I just listened to the KLB version. It's good. In my opinion, the Lobo version has a better bass part though ;) Thanks!
I agree with you Greg! =]
good job
Thanks Mateus ;)
Muito boa, ótimo trabalho e bom gosto.
Muito obrigado :)
Hi Greg. I would love to see you do a transcription of the Carol Douglas version of "Never Can Say Goodbye". It's a great example of a rock solid groove bass line. Thanks
Hi Jburtonca...can you send me a link of the version you're thinking of?
Hi Greg, It's from her album "Never Can Say Goodbye" which was released in January 1975.

Here is a RUclips link: ruclips.net/video/ngVetZw8hSc/видео.html
I think there may also be a cut down version which is less than four minutes. I hope this helps. Thanks.
Hi jburtonca, I'm a little confused. I can't seem to find a Carol Douglas version of this song and the link you sent me is a Gloria Gaynor version?
Sorry about that. I meant Gloria Gaynor.
@@jburtonca ahhhh ;) Thanks for the request. Disco is important and fun for bass players. Although I'm kind of backed up with requests at the moment, I'll put it on the list. Please be patient...thanks! :)
NEVER LEARNED THIS SONG
I'M A GUITARIST AS WELL AS A BASSIST SINCE MARCH 60
I PROBABLY HAD TO PLAY IT AT A CASUAL GIG OR TWO BACK WHEN IT CAME OUT
LEARNING IT NOW IS COOL
