I have one acoustic. A Fender F65 built in 1985. Given to me by my wife who passed 2 years ago. It has my heart. But I have always wanted a Martin. Thanks Jon.
Thanks for the demonstration of the E1 pickup. Almost nobody seems to record onboard electronics when it can be really important for live settings. That really helped. I do still think the Taylor ES-2 in my AD12E is probably the best onboard electronics but Martin has stepped it up.
Now that is a lovely guitar Jon and the tone is sublime. I love the fact that the pickup has a wonderful Earth to it. It also looks sweet to play. I noticed you we’re bending quite a lot on this for an acoustic. Beautiful intro piece as usual. I have some saving to do 😃👍👍👍👍❤️
thanks for your video,,, I just happened to buy this guitar last week!! I do love the sound but was a little unsure about it ( i always second guess myself ) Thank you for your very down to earth review. Very reassuring , you just got a new subscriber.
You can’t go wrong with a Martin, even if you have to buy a cheaper made in Mexico model it’s a Martin of course everyone dreams of a USA made, but I like this video.

Sugar is bad but that was sweeeeeeet. Nice, love these acoustic pieces you do Jon. Thanks
lol thank you
The Fishman E1 pickup is defenitely something else than the MX-T of older models! Such a difference I noticed it with the D10e which also has the E1.
Cool

Are all matrin 15 series guitars now made in Mexico?
Dont think so...not all
It does sound better than I first thought. I have an Alvarez AD66SHB that plays great, but this is a better guitar.
