I thought I’d make a video showing how I create my frosted cash envelopes!! This is a cash envelope DIY! I make the frosted cash pouches in two sizes, one for my sinking funds and one for my cash envelope key holder. After watching, you can make your own clear cash envelopes for your planner too!

I can't believe how much you inspire me, I've made beautiful flower clear envelopes with your tutorial and I saw these frosted mini ones on your last video and made some of them ( before seeing this) Just so you know, you can use an inkjet printer as well. I've used one for these envelopes I made as mini ones, plus all my binder envelopes I've printed the backgrounds on vellum with an inkjet as well, they all turned out fine.

This was SO extremely helpful. I wanted to buy the minis from Etsy but no one is selling them right now!! I have a laminator and the cutter, gonna run and get me some cute paper and I am gonna get this going myself 😍

If you print an outline guide box the size of (or slightly larger) your envelopes when printing the text you can then trim the guide off and they should be perfectly centered each time.
I love this!
You can also use an iron on a low temperature with a piece of fabric over the top to start melting the laminate and set your stuff in place so when you pick them up to put them in the laminator they don’t slide around
Oh goodness I never realized how easy it is to make envelopes for myself. I really enjoyed this tutorial and will definitely go back and watch all the others you have. And let me say what a beautiful singing voice you have !!! ❤

If you have some SCRAP laminate, you can redo the punched part. Just add the scrap to that section and use an iron to get it to seal enough to be able to run back through your machine.

My trick is to put the text in a text box with the designated dimensions, fill in white, center your text etc but also make a box a little bigger behind the white box and fill with a light grey, so it looks like a white box with a grey border. Once you print all you have to do is cut along the inner grey line and your set. It uses a little more ink but there's no guessing game with cutting. Then you can also just save the file and change out the text.

This is such a great tutorial...I love that you take the time to teach us! That being said, I got halfway through watching and was already thinking "those are beautiful, but never gonna happen!" I discovered that and Inkjet printer can be used if you change the setting to “photo glossy “ before printing

I love making envelopes, they just don't like me making them. Lol. I try and it's a mess. And it's not the directions because I learned from another video of yours. Your directions are clear and easy to follow. It's me I can't cut a straight line even with a lined cutter. Lol. But that's ok.
