一個人能活在這個世界上，是眾生幫忙的。舉例來說，如果沒有綠色的樹葉就沒有氧氣；沒有其他的動植物就沒有食物；沒有其他的人，生活就會很艱苦、很容易陷入絕境。所以，我們身為一個人，應該隨時心存感恩，感恩眾生，並且為這個世界盡一份自己的責任，貢獻一份自己的心力。
貢獻，最好是主動的，不是被動的。所給予的，最好是自己認為珍貴的，不是丟棄不要的。給予的時候，不要斤斤計較，不要不情願，不要後悔。
而對一位開悟的瑜珈士而言，因為無我了（把自己都給出去了），反而得到了所有（全部）。所以，對於眾生所求的，只要符合瑜珈士的願力，都是有求必應。
