I think that having Gravedigger (the predecesor to Scientist) as Scientist's variant would be interesting. He would have a Gravestone as an alt ability, which would mildly heal allies and summon Browncoats from time to time, with a small chance of even AI Heroes. He would also spawn Zombotany versions of the plant He killed (the last idea is inspired by Project Visionary, but I changed it to a Zombotany theme because it would fit a bit more)
@@blixerekdziwnyludz420 If that we’re to be the case, I would probably rename it to ‘Necromancer,’ as that is more along the naming scheme of scientists, and for characters with special alt abilities, they’d need to be unlocked in a special way. Perhaps there could be some side quest in the story?
This may be an unoriginal idea but Ice imp a rare character that has 30 ammo instead of 40 it is able to slow down enemies (Obviously) and if it gets 20 clean shots on a player or npc it will freeze them and maybe has a -2 damage debuff? Along side a slightly slower fire rate so a player can quickly avoid the bullets the weapons name being Cold Cruisers. This imp wears a nice light blue outfit with an ice block tied to his back and an ice cream upside down on top of his head. What will his mech be you ask? Well it will be a snowman with the giant snowball on the bottom being a wheel the snowman's twiggy hands is able to shoot snowballs a little faster then the regular imp mech the abilities are Snowy Surprise which the snowman throws a large snowball that freezes any enemies in the radius and the second ability that shoot seeking frozen popsicles... What do you think?
for God's sake, please keep being like that. it is so nice to see someone who is genuinely a fan of the franchise that isn't extremely toxic. big part of the most active members of the community here on xbox have literally commited cybercrimes and are pitiful people, making the PvZ community one of the worst ones I have ever seen in my life (not even talking about their in-game behaviour that is excruciatingly terrible). you're a nice person giving more life to a dying saga.
Thanks! I find that PvZ (shooters especially) lack any sort of family-friendly content, so I try to make sure things are easy and accessible to breathe life into the franchise.
1 thing, I feel like the gingerbread sunflower is the perfect opportunity to add an ice flower, you could make the cookie dough frozen, just a thought.
Yeah, this took longer to make than I would have wanted, but I’m glad I was able to get it in a state of quality I am proud of. (I also like the edits I made in this video in particular!) Thanks!
Glad to see another video ! I mostly liked all of new variants, Choco-tron being my favourite but I must say that Chompy Mashe could use a rework, mainly because: 1. He needs to die to get use out of his gimmick and dying is not fun 2. His effect works at the range he is most effective on 3. Because he explodes after dying, enemies that are ambushed by him will get punished for trying to get rid of him So here's my idea for a potential rework: Instead of exploding after dying, he now has a special charge bar similar to Thorn Apart upgrade, that will charge over time and will do it faster by dealing damage Once fully charged, activating it will cause Chomper to glow red and make a sound similar to Sombrero Bean Bomb before exploding (explosion radius being about the size of a Chili Bean Bomb explosion) reconstructing himself after a brief moment I think that would make him more fun to play since now you would have to think about when to use the meter instead of running into enemies without a plan, as well as make him fun to play againts since enemies wouldn't be punished for trying to get rid of him from their face
Don’t worry, I don’t think Chompy Mâché is well-designed, either. He’s mostly a joke character I left in lol. Your idea is a much better way to take it!
Heres some variants that I thought of: Revolutionary soldier: A tank commander side grade with these main differences: He loses his splash and has a 75% longer reload in exchange for SIGNIFICANTLY faster projectile speed His main gimmick though it the fact that his crits don’t increase damage, but instead half the reload time of the next shot. All star chomper: Just a chomper with allstar’s abilities. Thats it. I feel that they would fit him better. Repeater: a peashooter that shoots two peas at once that have a much faster projectile speed in exchange for a much slower fire rate.He also has a legendary mode themed around the gataling pea in pvz1 that lets him shoot four at once instead of two. This mode does not have a time limit, But instead a shot limit, meaning it ends after four trigger pulls. Clean freak imp: dual wields spray bottles and has a weapon similar to steam blaster, but automatic. The mech would fire a projectile similar to stink cloud, but having much higher damage and dissipating much quicker. Marathon star: weapon does not have to rev and has much larger projectiles, similar to wizard’s charge shot, in exchange for SIGNIFICANTLY lower range, and slightly lower damage. He also has a legendary meter that gives him an effect similar to pea hyper for a short time.
The gold does look really nice on Choco-Tron, much better than 90% of the gold customizations in GW2 lol. I haven’t put much thought into customizations, but that could work!
@@frogchamp. I did exactly that in an unreleased supercut of all 4 variant videos! I made the gimmick as a partial joke (and comment engagement because it’s a horrible idea).
About the Legendary chomper (Delivery Chomper). For 1: Don't make a Disco Chomper replica by making him have to swallow instead of vanquish zombies. For 2: I think he'd be better as a Special character other than a Legendary because both of the special chompers (Twilight and Unicorn) have a warp instead of Burrow, and you mentionned that he has a rocket instead of a Burrow. For 3: Maybe instead of the rocket being an ability, he could have a double jump and have the rocket ability replace the double jump during his legendary mode.
For the rarity, I did intend to make him special, but with a legendary metre. You’d unlock him by getting an S rank on every delivery mission. For the charging condition, I felt that what he got from his mode was too good for the usual five vanquishes, so I nerfed it to swallows.
I have an ability idea. Bring back the chetah heal station but as the mini heal station. It would have the same stats as the cheetah one but the lore for this one would be it extracts sewage from below it (let’s assume there are sewers everywhere) and converts it into heal juice.
Lovely ideas! I think the only one I have any real issue with is Chompymache idk it feels way to gimmicky and seems way too encouraging to just do the classic run in and die strat with Chomper perhaps something like a Stuffy Sunflower effect when you vanquish zombies or even just having vanquished zombies explode aliternatively maybe an explosive chomp (not a super strong one just kinda a bigger chomp radius almost) to kinda seal the whole chaotic but frail chomper. Other then that I love the use of Choco Citron and Wrapping Corn as more intresting elemental varients.
awesome video dude!. A idea I just thought of is a variant of acorn which has the shooting speed of a reg all star and it shoots sap which slows down zombies (kinda like the ice effect) but chompers can swallow the sap covered zombie without using their goop ability. Maybe you could get some kinda flavour upgrade that heals chompers slightly when they swallow the sapped zombie.
I’m imagining it as an acorn Moto X Star. I’m not sure if the upgrade would be that good though, as I doubt anyone would give up an upgrade slot for a fairly niche interaction between two quite different classes.
About the pinata chomper, I think having him explode on death would encourage a bad playing style of suicide chomper. I think a better way to implement it is having him explode every time he finishes swallowing
That character was made as a joke/experiment to see how many people would catch on. Obviously, I’d hate to have a character like that in an actual GW3.
I feel like Ginger Sunflower should have her mode activate through resurrections. It helps her double down on being supportive just like her supportive death ability.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast Problems this could have (ironic isn't it) Primary problems BB's primary advantage that makes him so annoying and difficult to defeat without a squadron dedicated to hunting them down is amplified, letting them travel from one side of the map to the other without even needing HJT on rocky flats, (yes we're looking at this from team vanquish) daisy drive, and pressure pier. Peashooters would be able to fly around with the high jump and hover, bombing everyone with combat adrenaline, all while hiding in the sky behind his team or directly above the enemy during team fights, making peashooter arguably more broken than BB. Secondary: An all star can run the follow through upgrade to launch you really far. Imagine you're playing on daisy drive, an all star tackles you, you're suddenly on the other side of the bridge. If this gets onto turf, an engineer can run seismic/turbo charge to push everyone off the point or payload. Similar deal with the following upgrades: Quake Slap back Shove Shockwave (both from FS, and z-mech) Scuttle shot Star struck Chompers burrow is significantly less effective. (I'd call that one "thirdarary") Good things: Typhoon launches higher, making it deal less damage overall Seeing people bunnyhop and try to airshot each other would be epic, especially in team fights where you see projectiles flying in random directions and would spawn a lot of low grav cactus/deadbeard quickscope clips Drones would be much less safe from the danger, as some enemies now can attack it easier. Ex: SB, engineer In turf, you can use this to find new sniping positions nobody's ever found yet, or take routes normally impossible without abilities
I know that we have unicorn chomper, but what about unicron chomper (as a boss hunt)? One thing that I would like in an imaginary GW3 would be the ability to customize the zombie weapons, as they look different from the fully upgraded weapons in GW1. Fun fact: in GW1 (and maybe GW2) you can hit enemies with shields directly with the alien flower’s cloud, therefore meaning that goo pea still does what he does in PvZ2!
What you can try to do is take inspiration from GW2 mods like "Loads of Variants" mod and churn out ideas from that. Maybe even combining some of the variants together to make a new variant.
I try to avoid mods for that reason. I’d rather make my own ideas than recycle someone else’s for the sake of content, it just doesn’t look right. For the fan ideas, I’ll be putting them into their own video where I can showcase them!
bro all your ideas are FIRE! except for the compressed citron kit, but then how would citron run? maybe both get a run? or the ball button is left stick?
I've been longing for the variants video the most, since variants are my favourite thing about the game, W video as always, and will be showing us your own variant concepts after your redesign of the bfn costumes?
I may, and I actually recovered an ancient draft of mine for a GW3 that has variants with fully-customized movesets. I may show it, but I’ll probably continue with “variant-izing” the BFN costumes, unless I happen to think of some fully unique ones I like more.
Darn! I missed your upload. Here are some variant ideas for every character: Peashooter: Raspberry Shooter: BERRYSHOOTER!!!! Sock Pea: Higher RoF Gatling Pea: Infinite capacity full auto Shadow Pea: Shadow variant gets buffed by other Shadow Variants! Pea Jester: Faster projectile speed Sweet Pea: Hypno effect! Party Pea: yeah. Sunfower: Paint Petal: splash Snowflower: Yeah! Uh huh! Funflower: higher RoF Fury Flower: Infinite Ammo Sun Caezar: semi auto, 2 shot burst Squishy Flower: Agent Pea sunflower Clear Flower: Shotgun at close range, full auto while aiming Deputy Sunflower: fires when the trigger is pressed and when it's released. Fluffy Flower: a flower designed to lool like my cat who died this year. Gets ammo back for successful shooting. Birthday Flower: Party variant who's party meter is called: HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIME! I love Sunflowers. Copper Flower: legendary Primal Metal Petal. Cactus: Orange Cactus: Citrus Cactus Organ Pipe: vampire San Pedro: unlimited shots full auto, no overheating Prickly Pear: Needle explosive from TLOU Iron Cactus: actual armor variant Ragdoll Cactus: Higher RoF, higher Headshot damage, dramatically reduced body damage. Disco Cactus: party variant. Chomper: Nacho: Chester Chomper Venus Flytrap: farthest biting range Teddy Chomper: faster reload of abilities when he bites/swallows Rainbow Chomper: Full auto biting Corn: Cartel Corn: Infinite ammo Cuddly Corn: Faster RoF Kettle Corn: armored remote detonation Corn Citron: Fire Citron: Based on the blood lime Blood Orange: vampire Chocolate Orange: new elemental Variant Plush Citrus: Regens his shield while doing damage Rose: Roseferatu: vampire Soft Rose: splash damage Electrose: angered Zeus (literally) Foot Soldier: Marine: Toxic Minuteman: one-shot kill veteran of the U.S. revolutionary War. Honestly I still need to flesh out the rest of these ones. Scientist: Cheese Expert: Dr. Chester Radiologist: new elemental Variant J. Robert Oppenheimer: multi-player hates this guy. Stuffinologist: Stuffy Flower! All Star: Oh my gosh Allstar Soccer: Toxic Bowling: mo damage for mo people in area Pool: Breakfast brainz Lightning: Electric reg variant with Pool's looks and stuff Contractor (HE IS NOT AN ENGINEER!): Angry Lawyer: enough said. Imp: Toximp Electrimp Blimp: new element Radioactimp: yep Abominimp: ice variant Super Brainz: Captain Brainz: only Melee Iron Brainz: legendary walking nuclear arsenal with no weaknesses (except for the entire enemy team (this is an exaggeration)). And about every variant in between those two because superheroes are everywhere. Pirate: Capn Full Beard: full auto Captain Dodo: three shot crossbow Captain Vlad: vampire with a blunderbuss Captain Flintlock: one-shot kill guy. Captain Jack Sparra (bite me): full auto unlimited shots with no overheat. And let's not forget Torchwood and Hovergoat! Acorn and Oakwood: is the reg variant while Fiery Acorn is the unlockable variant Bitter Almond: Toxic Reindeer Goat: cold. Explodonut: explodes Skate Goat: uses a floating skateboard instead of a hoverboard. Macadamia: Shadow variant Angry Goat: faster movement and faster RoF. Lightning Acorn: becomes the Lightning Tree known creatively as "Lightningwood" Hot Goat: Fire variant I've been typing for half an hour. The scary part is, this is about 1% of all of our written ideas, and all of their descriptions are simplified. I'm scared. This also doesn't include new characters that we've created, like Engineer, Musician, Carrot, Mustard, Zombie Shark, Warrior, Pepper, And Snakegrass. Help. Edit: differences between our ideas: Goopea: is a completely new elemental variant. New elements include Poison, Acid, Wither, and Radiation. They each do different things, with Radiation being the most dangerous. Skeleton Variants are immune to all elemental damage. And blind characters like Bat Peashooter, and Scuba Soldier are immune to Dark element characters who temporarily blind opponents. Sunshine Rocketeer is kind of similar to my "Feather Flower" idea, where she is "light as a leaf- I mean feather" and can jump higher and fall slower, but this Flower has lower health, runs fast, and has a faster RoF and faster reloading time for her abilities. Funny enough, we too have a Gingerbread Flour idea, and it's also legendary, she fires explosive gumdrops which is fun. Funnier enough, candy is another new element that gives off the hypno effect, but Gingerbread Flour doesn't fall under this elemental type. Huh. The uh, second Cactus variant sounds kinda like our Saguaro Cactus, because she's tall, but that's the only similarity. Ancient Grains Corn is a good idea, no idea why I didn't already write this down (Storm Corn doesn't count since he's like Scuba Soldier). I guess I was preoccupied coming up with Flint Corn, who is a two-shot kill character. My ice Corn variant is called Freezer Corn and is a reg Corn with the ice element. Funny enough, I too considered giving Chocolate Orange a projectiled weapon instead of a beam, I will do that, because it just makes sense and I'm an idiot. Anyway, 10/10 video. Me likey Variants, Allstar, Citron, and Corn are especially deprived of obvious Variants, same with Sunflower and Peashooter (who I have more Variants written down for than the number of Variants in both GW games combined) but yeah. Hope the next video comes soon, where I'll share some more of our unique Variants that we got cooked up in the Undead Herbal Oven. Maybe.
It probably would also be quite important to share some changes to already existing Variants. I know you covered some in previous videos, but some characters I feel should be changed in order to better fit together. Ex: Allstar Class, Shadow Flower, Replacing Rock Pea with Primal Pea, etc.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast What? Defensive? Never! SUNFLOWER IS EXTREMELY UNDERRATED AND UNAPPRECIATED!!! I'd never go ballistic over a character ever. (I think Reg and Party Corn should have only 125 health and 30 ammo to better reflect Soldier though).
Seems pretty good! Only real issue I have is that the on-death effects seem a bit niche. I doubt you're gonna get much use out of the chomper's death unless you're actively using the [unalive] chomper strategy. Ginger Sunflower's death effect seems good as support, but it'd be really hard to use strategically.
The Chompy Mâché is really just a joke character that encourages kamikaze chomping (I’d hate him if he were an actual character), but the ginger sun I saw as a bonus to what is a “Sunflower with splash damage” at its core. These suns in particular though would not despawn for a looong time though, so allies will have plenty of time to scoop them up or just stumble across them after dust settles, or clutch up a fight.
honestly whenever I think of the Chocolate plants (Choco-tron and the Chocolate Chomper set from GW1) being separate variants, my mind goes to simply re-using the "muck" status effect from Moto-X Star and re-contextualizing it as chocolate also if we're pitching our own variants, a vampiric Citron named the "Blood Orange" to make the Vampiric Upgrade less niche
I love Sunshine Rocketteer and Ginger Sunflower both are really good idea but except not have ice Varient LOL that great idea for take costume from bfn in pvz gw3
whats with the 2 new classes we got in bfn the tv head and the dandelion, i like their conzept a lot and would love a return also any ideas abt hover goat and the fire stump (forgott their name -_-)
Super brains should have an angry Brains that is weak but gets stronger as he loses health, and a legendary Magma Brains variant that has an explosive beam that fires similar to cosmic brains, but lights plants on fire, and also has an aura that lights plants ablaze similar to how toxic aura works. Imp should get a v-imp-re variant that has shoots bats that are slow and inaccurate, but have slight homing and heal the imp. To balance, he would need to only have 60 or 65 HP. Foot soldier should get a knight variant, which is an armor character with 175 hp and a very slow firing lance launcher that doesn't do much from far away but is powerful up close. His speed would be reduced and his reload would be slow. They could also have a Scout variant which has high speed, and his abilities recharge faster than normal, but does slightly less damage. Engineer should have a sculptor variant who has rapid fire projectiles that ignore plants with armor. For example, his damage dealt to peashooters in Gatling will not be reduced. They could also have a photographer variant that does a wide close up spray of damage that briefly stuns plants. Scientist should get a legendary Dr. Dentist variant that shoots one big burst of spray damage at plants in front of him and has a slow reload speed, his legendary mode is similar to iron citron. Scientist should also have a botanist variant that shoots rapid fire projectiles that will cause plants to take more damage if they take enough hits, similar to nec rose. All star should get the Bowler, which has a charge shot that pierces multiple enemies, and and Boxer, which has melee attacks similar to super brains and increased life regen speed Also, Gatling pea NEEDS to be a legendary peashooter variant that shoots a burst of 4 projectiles similar to super commando in gw1, doing less damage, of course. Threepeater also should be a burst peashooter variant.
So what about the new Plants and Zombies from BFN? Do they get new variants, will they be removed or just be special unlocks like Torchwood and Goat (Torchwood obviously just becoming acorn)? What I would wish for is a variant type of every element for each character as it makes the character classes feel more entertaining with passive damage or effects (only if the character class doesn't already have all the elements).
Title card customization, will that be a thing? Along with all the other little customization features from GW 2 and BFN like gun skins, hats, body skins, tattoos, organics, face customization and whatever else I might have forgotten.
Will there also be unique passives for each character class like Peashooters and Soldiers or just for variants that are of the legendary variety? The toxic variants do have a radius damage effect when you get near them so I wanted to know if that mechanic would be relevant for other variants besides legendary variants.
If you want ideas or want to discuss stuff I'm your guy when it comes to game balance and such, considering I've been developing my own game over the past 7 years. The GW franchise and BFN are in my top five games so I'm more than happy to help come up with fun ideas, then again this will likely never happen but might as well make ideas for fun.
Random idea for a legendary (Foot Soldier), Space Trooper: The stats and weapon are like a weird All-Star FS hybrid, that gains zero-gravity when the legendary meter (Liftoff) is filled.
It probably would've had balancing issues if all costumes in BFN had special effects (toggleable of course) but, here are some ideas they could have put in there Puppy chomper Burrow cannot be canceled by any means -50% speed while burrowing Domino scientist Enemies vanquished cause explosions, enemies hit by the explosions will also cause explosions to create a domino effect -75% healing given and taken The costumes that go with the legendary upgrades could amplify their respective upgrades (except BB, that s--t can f--k off somewhere)
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast MOAR costume effects for BFN (for the funi) Ancient citron 75% armor in ball form Hitting people in ball form deals 100 damage and deals knockback + stun Significantly reduced traction while in ball form Cannot be revived Reflecto brainz: Replace Super ultra ball with "mirror ball" Mirror ball gains additional damage worth of 50% damage taken Larger ultra ball -50% damage dealt with everything else -25% beta shield health Removes flying fist/second & third BB charge
I have an interesting varriant idea for the All-Star zombie : The Giga-Star : He looks like a giga football zombie.... He has a legendary meter which works similar to the Party characters..It also overheats faster yet it does more damage
A cool legendary Super Brainz variant could be some sort of Batman variant. No powers, removing that big jump he has in GW2. His power-related abilities would be replaced with abilities that share the same idea. The Ultra Ball would become some sort of explosive gadget. Hyper Jump Thump would become some sort of grapple gun maneuver. Turbo Twister would become a spinning sequence of spinning attacks. His basic attack could be martial arts, mixing kicks with punches and lunges. He wouldn't just do 3-punch combo, he would be able to hit without limits, however his attacks would be slower, not an instant punch like he usually does. His ranged ability would be projectiles, like Batarangs, instead of a constant bean. When he landed hits with his martial arts, words like "Pow!", "Puff!", "Kapow!", would be particles and would make sounds. His legendary mode could make his martial arts faster than normal and would also make him walk faster. The catch here is that even without damage or resistance boost, he would be extremely menacing because his basic hits deal a ton of damage, but are slow, and now they're fast. His removed features would culminate in a more damage-dealing character. Think of Commando Corn in some way. Shoots slowly, but shoots hard. And when he gets in his legendary mode, boy oh boy, get out of the way.
I’d recommend checking out part 3 of this series where I talk about how SB as a fundamental class gets changed to shape the idea, but it looks great as a variant!
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast It’s just because like only the new characters got a party character so I thought maybe party characters for the old characters too. Also I feel like some characters should have an ice variant like the sunflower class. Pretty much b/c I am obsessed with the sunflower class lol
@@Darlingdxva Party Variants could be a feature given to other classes, but I’ll need to figure out their purpose here. And these variants I made in this part won’t be the only ones!
Hey bro just woundering what server region you play on? I play on ps aswell and it would be cool to run into in a lobby. Also great video, like the ideas
Some of your ideas are pretty cool! The Thorn Apart rose is so OP tho, lol. - Future Crop seems really cool, though I think the legendary mode is a bit too op. But perhaps not. - Goo Peashooter would likely deal the "cloud" damage when zombies stay on the goo. This would likely create a really interesting interaction where if the goo drips off the edge of a surface, you could probably deal damage to zombies below! - The Chompy Mache is a really fun and unique idea! However, creating a sunflower that has nearly the same gimmick is kindof a cop out imo. It ruins the specialness and uniqueness of the Chompymache, and doesn't really fit with the outfit. - Cactaraffe is a _wacky_ variant, but it's really goofy and unique, which I think is great! - As someone else had mentioned (I think), just taking a regular variant and slapping *ice* on it isn't really the best way to create special variants. Instead, they should have some special gimmick or effect. Also, I think the Wrapping Corn doesn't really fit with an ice variant. - Chocotron! I think this may be my favorite variant you designed so far! It's gimmick of shooting slower, arcing projectiles that spread puddles of hot chocolate where they land. However, I don't think making it the fire variant is the best choice here. I think the best and coolest and most natural way to make a fire variant for the citron is to give him a flamethrower, which I have actually seen in some mods (I can tell when I find it). I think, the chocolate should slow down their movement speed when in it, and maybe even apply an effect similar to Moto-X Star that disables abilities (or maybe it makes abilities take longer to load?). Your ideas a really great, and it's amazing seeing some positive discussion in the community! Keep up the great work! You've earned a subscriber!
A good (and obvious lol) idea I saw for the Gingersun Flower I completely neglected was to make it an ice elemental variant, which I was really kicking myself for. The whole reason I made it a “self-detonation-but-in-a-literal-sense” variant was because I wasn’t sure how to create hers but I wanted the costume to get a variant. Ironically enough, Choco-tron being a fire variant was done partially in response to the “character but [insert element],” so I wanted to make it behave differently from the rest of the Citrons while still having an elemental effect. I initially thought of making a flame spray-like variant for Citron, but I was afraid of the overlap with Snapdragon in the future. And in case you’re thinking of Fire Chomper, I have him covered! And, thanks a lot for the sub, it really helps a lot :D
I had an idea for a Rose variant called Imitater Rose Imitater Rose would, for all intents and purposes, be identical to the standard Rose save for slightly lower damage, but she would lack Goatify or Time Snare (or whatever abilities you may replace those with). Instead of Arcane Enigma, Imitater Rose would have the Imitate ability, which on its own has 0 recharge and does nothing. When Imitater Rose gets a kill, however, when she uses the Imitate ability, she will transform into the stock variant of the most recent Zombie class she just killed until her next life, and the Zombie will have an Imitater texture to convey that it is on the Plants side and not the Zombies side.
How balanced would it be if super brainz got a replacement ability for the heroic kick that would instead be a more vulnerable version of sprint burrow where he flies up just enough to go over cactus' head and then has a short distance where he moves very fast and can drop on a plant, unrevivable intakilling it by burying it in the ground in one punch, he isnt invincible like chomper while flying but instead of being vulnerable before and after using it theres just a delay at the beginning when he flies up and does a loop de loop. He would loose out on debatably the best movement ability in the game but i think it would be good for a more aggressive play style
Can i be honest?confetti chomper looks absolutely weak The gimmick of the chomper is that it explodes dealing 50 damage in a short range but it have only 125 health First in a 1v1 every other class would try to vanquish the chomper far away,so the ability is useless and he have 50 less health, the only classes that will have to get closer are the supar brainz and scientis, but still very easy to kill a little far away Also you said it was gonna be a short range,so even if the chomper get closer to they the explode can still don't damage them and make uselles + having less health and explode when die will just encourage the usage of kamikaze chompers I think you should give a buff to it
I changed his ability to cause an explosion when he successfully swallows another zombie, and his chomp will be more shotgun-like than others. He will basically be the textbook example of low skill, low reward, which I feel is necessary to shooter games.
Ideas i had were 1. Singer chomper wich had the attack of the sound ingenier 2. Cactus with the charge thing from BFN 3. Disco pea wich would have a meter and shoot disco balls/peas 4. A blood orange wich would be another vampire type plant, he would shoot like he does in BFN and would regain like 5% of health that his shield would have taken 5. Shogun corn wich would get the shogun from BFN and would be slower when his shield is active 6. Berry pea to replace rock pea cause rock pea is bad 7. Submarine chomper wich could fire sonar goop or have spike weed that reveal locations and when his bar fills up for 30 seconds a sonar would reveal the location of every ennemie in like a radius of 1/4 of the objectif range every 6 seconds 8. Moonflower it would be a sunflower that the heal rey would be halfed and would give a small strenght boost like overgoat, could be a legendary 9. Sonar cactus Thats all the plants idea that i have, i will reply to this comment with the zombie ideas
1. Buff Brains, he would get the charged punch from BFN, be tankier and instead of a cape it would be tatoos on his back 2. Cowboy imp, he would replace z7 as the trigger character and the zmech would be like the mettalic bulls from pvz2, the bull could has its own meter called rodeo time where it would get a speed boost and the eject button you could kinda aim where your imp gets ejected 3. Captain Nordic, a viking pirate that shoots ice projectiles 4. A pirate with the charge meter from BFN 5. An ingenier that has the boundy projectiles from BFN 6. Scientist with the steam BFN upgrade 7. Pest imp, an imp with poison damage and the zmech looks like some castle dark ages style 8. Rocket ingenier, an ingenior that would have tank commando projectiles but would go straight 9. Paintball foot soldier with splash 10. Catch Brainz, a super brains that when hes in the air, could attack to drop down on the plants 11. Clinical scientist, a scientist with better heals less, attacks and legendary ability activated by reviving allies 12. Geologist, scientist with a detonation projectile but it feels weird 13. Childish imp, has the attack of pharaoh flower and his zmech is a toy robot, abilities to figure out 14. Kung fu brains, he would kick instead of punch and could charge his kick to do a round house kick that pushes away plants 15. Water polo star, would either shoot some splash attack or shoot bouncy projectiles like BFN ingenier
For the tv head zombie he could get diffrent classes based on pvz2 1. Tv head would get the explosive imp from modern day 2. Frost head, would have his head frozrn and throw snowballs, hed get yeti imp 3. Bikini/diver zombie, could be a sonar attack and would have octo imp wich would do 10 damage but the plants would have an octopus that would be stopping them from moving and needed to be dealt 90 damage from normal attacks to get off them 3. Fire archer, a dark age zombie with a fire bow and arrow, would have the dragon imp wich inflicts fire dammage 4. Explorer zombie, lost world zombie with an imp thats carried by a dragon fly 5. Western zombie, revolver and the imp leaves a stink cloud from eating a bean, he would have a party mode with the piano song 6. Punk zombie, his close range attarck pushes back plants, the impunk would do an effect like the roadie z but stays longer or stuns plants, not on grounded chomper, he gets punk mode where he goes faster and can ram into plants like ingenier in his jackhammer, it would do like 5 dammage 7. Pharaoh zombie with snake poison arrows and the imp does a poison dammage too
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast if you want to mention these in a video feel free to, i can even give you ideas for new abilities or variants for the BFN characters
I have a few zombie variant ideas. Captain Frostbeard. After he got stuck in a freezer for years, he's ready to chill out the battlefield. He basically would be an ice class variant with his shotgun being "Freezer" that works similar to Captain Flamefaces Shotgun. The sniper mode would have a slower rate of fire, but can freeze enemy's with much quicker. Negative Brains. From hanging around with Electro brains and Cosmic Brains he got hit by electricity and a black hole now giving him this negativity element. Negative Brains would be a legendary class and would be focused more on speed. His punches would be like the 3 hit combo stock has, only to be faster with less damage (I don't have the numbers right now in front if me) and his ranged beam deals a little splash damage, but overheats faster. For his legendary mode (probably 10 kills/shared kills) he will increase movement speed and deal more damage (same speed as hot rod chomper) until the effects wear off. The Coffinest. From doing research on Baron Von Bats, this scientist was able to get bitten and now hates Galric Drones more than ever. The Coffinest would be a vampire class variant where he can heal himself more by damaging plants or he can get a boost of health by reviving downed zombies. He would suffer a health reduction to 80. Giga-Star. He was kicked out of the All-Star mansion because he kept tackling everything from his anger issues. He's been seeing a therapist as of late now. Giga-Star would become a variant based off of the AI All-Star. His main gimick is being more tankier without a speed penalty. He wont have a ranged weapon however. His main attack will be sprint tackle so the ability 2 slot would become exclusive to him known as Bolder Bash. Bolder Bash will have Giga-Star pick up a bolder and slam it into the ground damaging all plants nearby abd knocking them back. It will deal 150 damage on the zero point impact and 45 splash damage and less than that the further away you are. The ability would have an 45 second cooldown (can extend it to a full minute if the fead of it being too powerful). The main Sprint Tackle would be less damage, doesn't go as far, can't knock back rooted plants, and it has a 3 second reload. The sprint tackle feature in BFN where he stops as soon as he hits his target would be useful here. Those are some of my zombie ideas to share with ya. Love the idea of making things that could be put into GW3.
Great ideas! I have my own “Captain Glacier” coming in the next video, and it behaves quite similarly to yours. The other ones also looks quite nice! I also like the idea that potential vampire-zombies would have a weakness to garlic drones lol.
Y’know, I think people REALLY missuse chomper. In GW1, there was a tip that said he was meant to sneak up on zombies (like a stealth class), but with his abilities, I feel like he’s meant to be used like how a spider acts like in real life. Chomper ensnares zombies in its webs (spike weed) When you know something is approaching, you can hide and become near invisible if you stay still (burrow) If you need to catch up to your prey, you can slow them (goop) With all of this, he can act like a counter to engineer (despite engineer being a chomper counter) Thanks for coming to Skylanders academy for my Ted talk.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast every time I’m up against a chomper, they typically just act like a scientist (or a suicide chomper). I gotta say, they don’t expect the stationary burrow.
yo, i like your vids on gw3 you should try actually making them get game devs go kickstarter idk but please i would play if it was real, i just want a new game
Variant idea: lunar eclipse A sunflower with 50 health, 2x revive speed, and 3x heal rate. Her primary is a homing shot that targets allies to heal the for 2 health (6 because of tripled healing), it deals no damage. She can't equip the normal sunbeams, instead she gets a unique one that fires like the cannon rodeo, healing a large area of plants for 5 health at once (15 because again, tripled healing) This means the dark flower is her only defense should she be caught without her allies to protect her.
I would like to see these in PvZ GW3 when it releases 5 billion years from now when the sun explodes into a giant red star: Water Variants Wooden Variants Daylight Chomper (its basically sunflower... but as a chomper-) Plasma Variants At least 1 or 2 Legendary Variants for all classes
Idea: A system where if someone is overly toxic, is running like a coward for most of the match, or more people than not vote for it, the game marks them and anyone in the same group, during their marking a "truce" begins and everyone can attack them, but not anyone else. This lasts for 3 minutes, during that time, any objective timers will be paused, objectives won't be able to be captured, and anyone who kills them will gain 10,000 coins, courtesy of the killed person, assists of any kind grant 5,000 coins. (yes, you actually steal their GW3 money, this can send them into debt as every individual time you get killed will need to be paid for). They respawn instantly and can't be revived (Not that your newfound foes would), and respawn on the objective. Don't even think about hiding in spawn, it's out of your bounds now. You're also visible through walls, so don't try that either. This doesn't kill off toxicity completely, but mitigates it significantly, as now you're actually getting punished for your toxicity/cowardice. Overly sadistic? Probably Funny? Yes, very Plus this can belp with balancing as now you can vote to have more numbers than them and traumatize them to force them to go easier next game. If you leave during your mark, everyone gains 10,000 coins off your GW3 bank account.
I don’t think that would be great for a variety of reasons: 1. For every toxic player punished, there’s at least another newer/less experienced player who takes the fall by simply learning how to play the game. 2. Trolls could abuse this to prolong games, as well as max ranks wanting to draw them out for higher kill games. 3. It breaks up the pacing of games, which would be kinda frustrating if you only want to play a game of turf or something. 4. Larger groups could turn this into an easy money farm, and by gathering enough people, they could automatically veto any match into forcing these periods. Fine idea conceptually, but work would need to be done for proper balancing.
For number 1: have a system check the rank difference between the runner and the chaser. Ex: diamond rank chasing no rank = doesn't count Number 2: Check if the victim is doing particularly well compared to everyone else, being moderately toxic, cocky for their rank, ETC. If yes, this works as per normal. If no, the voting won't start. Number 3 is a good point Number 4: add a cooldown to it (This cooldown is ignored and the effect is amplified in the case of "known skids", disabling their weapons and abilities, as well as banning them for 3 months after the truce is over) This could also apply to people that just aren't learning their lesson and getting marked consistently.

I would love to see the jack in the box zombie, balloon zombie, and other pvz 1 guys Balloon zombie could be an npc enimie Pole vaulting zombie could be a boss Jack in the box could be a demoman
Maybe instead of explosions when you die its on enemies? Idk having to die for one of the main benefits of a variant seems very weak. 10:10 also i dont know if this was implied but the effect should definitely be heavily affected by range so you cant just sit in the back and use a homing attack to ruin a zombies day
Hey. I’ve been really enjoying your gw3 ideas videos and I recently just subscribed. I really like some of your classes Ideas and I want to share my thoughts on them. (I might say some negative things but don’t take them to seriously) Future Crop: ok I get that it’s supposed to be a sniper class but No damage drop and slower projectile speed just doesn’t mix IMO and the lower splash just pretty makes him a worse version of Reg pea. I would remove the damage drop off and replace it with a faster fire rate like landscaper. But hey I like the L. Meter idea 3/10 Goo Pea: honestly solid idea. I would definitely like to use a spore mist pea 9/10 Chomper piñata: I just feel like just having 125 hit points is unnecessary but a pretty interesting gimmick 5/10 Pizza Chomper: honestly pretty cool concept. The only thing I would change is him having faster movement speed. (Also make so he has to swallow 3 zombies instead 4 or 5) 9/10 Sunshine Rocketeer: honestly cool and unique concept nothing to really complain about 10/10 Gingersunflower: another cool concept (someone already commented this but I would only change her having revive 5 plants to get her legendary mode) 10/10 Citrus Cactus:…….. of course a lot of us want her back 10/10 Giraffe Cactus: um.. considering cactus has an ability that can get her up to high places that seem unnecessary but points for creativity 2/10 Tank Corn: what the heck I like a good single shot character 8/10 Wrapping corn: Arctic trooper 2.0 8/10 Chocolate Citron: basically Toxic citron but with splash and fire damage 9/10 Citronaut: Two words SPACE BALLERS 0/10 Just kidding good concept but really space ballers 8/10 Celestial beauty: recycled concept but I love the legendary mode idea 8/10 Peace Rose: Eat dirt you house camping soldiers and pirates 9/10 Honestly great concepts and I might do this again for your other class idea videos. Keep up the great work
I very much appreciate the feedback! The two characters that I did end up receiving the most feedback on were the Future Crop and Chompy Mâché. My favourite ways to fix them were to just make the projectiles for Crop to be similar to Future Cactus (fast, but not as fast as the majority of the Cactus class), and make Chompy Mâché cause the explosion upon swallowing an opponent to not incentivize kamikaze chomping with him. 150 health may also be more reasonable! Anyways, glad you enjoy the content!
Ok lemme spoil the next dumb video Soldier: Human cannon skin: Super rare variant with a weaker version of reg foot primary in terms of damage and ROF but in return you get a special mobility ability called rocket charge Basically a rocket leap but with damaging hitbox and more horizontal speed deals 50 damage to any unfortunate veggie in your track Total terminator: legendary variant following the same formula of getting 5 legit kills from you not by sheards Primary name:Z-5 pulsator 14 bullets 110 RBM Shoot purple orbs at speed of 300m/s that deal 20 and loses damage to 14 from far range these funny orbs if hits the enemy it ll attach to it dealing continuous 1 damage at the speed of stink cloud rate of fire it lasts for 4 seconds can be stacked Legendary mode name:Total violation Buffs:RoF boost you shoot at 240 instead of 120 and you get 11 extra bullets in your clip for 30 seconds along with 25% armor These orbs ll never activate passive if hit on objects must be on the enemies I could afford more ideas but I am busy sorry
I only found out about this video today. Anyway, GW4. I actually only have two points of contention this time: -Why the Rocket Chomper (Pizza delivery) doesn't have the ranged attack (if it's too OP just make it weaker), unless I misunderstood what you meant. -Berry Shooter, Dr. Chester and Chester Chomper not returning: I understand your reasoning for it, but come on man. Perhaps these variants can be reworked (example: Berry Shooter can be given less impact damage for greater splash range, compared to his GW1 version). It would also be funny to have the Chester Chomper and digestion upgrade stack. Besides that, I actually like these variant ideas (especially Cactiraffe), even though I'd personally prefer it if variants were a thing of the past.
So, now it’s my turn to provide my reasoning! So, I decided against giving Delivery Chomper a ranged attack because I figured a Chomper with a rocket jump (and potential double jump and speed boost) gave him enough mobility to make up for the lack of one. For the GW1 promotional variants, I came up with the “obsolete” argument for two main reasons. For one, I didn’t want to betray my current system of “two new variants per class,” and I liked my current ideas better than them. And secondly, I didn’t want to make it look like some sort of copout by recycling all of the GW1 classes and shipping them out. However reworking them would have worked as well.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast They wouldn't count as "new" variants though because they were in a prior entry. (and as for the Rocket Chomper point, fair, but perhaps you could have just reduced the jump height and speed boost a bit?)
I have a variant idea called the speedster variants: these plants and zombies Move , shoot or reload fast sometimes all but have low health or damage or sometimes both. Basically the opposite of armor variants
i got 2 variant ideas for zombies. they are special rarity Z-65 Medic class: scientist weapon: fires a laser rifle with 2 variants: a scoped, precise laser cannon or a precise raygun that can be used when hipfiring you can use the weapon to heal teammates scoped version deals 15 damage or healing, 18 damage or healing on headshot, and the scoped version can be charged up to deal 5 extra healing/damage and apply a speed buff to teammates or speed debuff to enemies special attributes: cannot be goatified and has 25 extra health (this is a robotic character) special ability: replacing the sticky balls, you can deploy a turret that pumps out healing and damage. the turret has a leveling system, and will improve its health, healing, and damage while also gaining extra abilites like being able to apply damage resistance to teammates or being able to do mini air strikes like the bamboo shoot Warrior Brainz class: superhero weapon: sword that swings at the rate of toxic brainz's punches deals 25 damage on hit but has a 10% chance to crit and deal 2x damage with a 0.4 second stun, along with a RPG critical hit sound beam: pull out a bow and arrow. shots can be charged up and and arrows that you pull out have a random chance to be enchanted with like fire and ice for example. special ability: pull out your shield and deflect incoming hits back at enemies shield can withstand 275 damage before busting and stunning warrior brainz for 2 seconds special attributes: has 50 extra health, moves 10% slower, and the super ultra ball ability are revamped into a version where you shoot arrows infused with power. you can choose from the 3 different super ultra balls as arrows that do the same thing the revamp aims to make the ability much more precise (the splash damage and radius are severely reduced) but much more rewarding on hit can also headshot i hope you liked these ideas me and my friend took some time and came up with them
I’d definitely want to workshop a some of these, mainly the Warrior SB, as the last thing a shooter game needs is an RNG character. I’d make the crits work more on a skill-based system, where you could properly weapon-combo people and you feel good while doing it.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast me and my friend actually had a combo system in mind, but i figured that might be too complicated if u want a idea of what i mean, you could do your punches but then do certain inputs for random stuff ex: you could be punching someone but when your about to finish the combo, you can flick your camera joystick up to uppercut them and then have a eagle hit em or smth idk we aren't sure about the balancing, but we want cool ideas
Despite, everything it’s not tts. (The kind of voice that can slam jokes harder than swoop slam, and faster the GW2 sunflowers try to mercy main people.)
Lol, I made him a joke character. If I were to take him seriously, when he successfully swallows an enemy he “explodes” (non-fatally), dealing the damage.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast Just in case you ha e trouble with map design ideas: all the maps in GW1 (except wall-nu hills, that s--t can f--k off somewhere) are loved quite prominently because they're very vertical, lots of high ground to take advantage of, and several routes you can take to push the enemy.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiastok. But I will give you some just in case. Foot-soldier: Idea for foot Soldier three new alternatives ability for 1-ability AKA the Zombie stink cloud. 1-Super smoke cloud: this stink cloud doesn't do damage. But it's smoke cloud is 3x or 4x time bigger than The zombie stink cloud. The smoke is grey instead of purple. It last for 20 sec. Cooldown: 35 sec. 2-sticky stink cloud: this ability does 1 damage per sec. But it slow down enemy when entering the smoke. The smoke is green instead of purple. It last 14 sec. Cooldown: 30 sec. 3-flash cloud: it explode when contact a enemy, ground or object. When throw near or directly to plants It make there vision blurry for 5 sec. Cooldown: 25 Sec. Peashooter: Idea for peashooter three new alternatives ability for 1-ability AKA the chili bean bomb. 1- super spicy Bean: upon exploding set The ground on fire for 3 sec in a 8m or 6m radius but the explosion does 75 damage. Fuse: 3. Cooldown: 30 sec. 2- rocket beam: fire a bean bomb that is wearing a blue helmet and have two fireworks duct-tape on his back. Basically a zpg for peashooter. 3- grey bean bomb: upon exploding not only doing 50 damage to zombie but also blurring division for 4 sec. Cooldown: 25 sec.

Chompy mache is a hilarious way to justify suic1de chomping.
@@CoralReaper707I’m patiently waiting for people to explode when hearing about it (pun 1000% intended).
Legendary mode names I made up:
Future Crop Pea: Plantation Termination
Pizza Chomper: Pizza Time
Ginger Sunflower: Yuletide Gifting
Celestial Beauty: Thorny Onslaught

@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast good to see your proud of it, definitely your best vid yet :)
Glad to see another video !
I mostly liked all of new variants, Choco-tron being my favourite but I must say that Chompy Mashe could use a rework, mainly because:
1. He needs to die to get use out of his gimmick and dying is not fun
2. His effect works at the range he is most effective on
3. Because he explodes after dying, enemies that are ambushed by him will get punished for trying to get rid of him
So here's my idea for a potential rework:
Instead of exploding after dying, he now has a special charge bar similar to Thorn Apart upgrade, that will charge over time and will do it faster by dealing damage
Once fully charged, activating it will cause Chomper to glow red and make a sound similar to Sombrero Bean Bomb before exploding (explosion radius being about the size of a Chili Bean Bomb explosion) reconstructing himself after a brief moment
I think that would make him more fun to play since now you would have to think about when to use the meter instead of running into enemies without a plan, as well as make him fun to play againts since enemies wouldn't be punished for trying to get rid of him from their face
Don’t worry, I don’t think Chompy Mâché is well-designed, either. He’s mostly a joke character I left in lol. Your idea is a much better way to take it!
Would the super mode be called “Piñata bomb”?
Heres some variants that I thought of:
Revolutionary soldier:
A tank commander side grade with these main differences:
He loses his splash and has a 75% longer reload in exchange for SIGNIFICANTLY faster projectile speed
His main gimmick though it the fact that his crits don’t increase damage, but instead half the reload time of the next shot.
All star chomper:
Just a chomper with allstar’s abilities.
Thats it. I feel that they would fit him better.
Repeater: a peashooter that shoots two peas at once that have a much faster projectile speed in exchange for a much slower fire rate.He also has a legendary mode themed around the gataling pea in pvz1 that lets him shoot four at once instead of two. This mode does not have a time limit,
But instead a shot limit, meaning it ends after four trigger pulls.
Dandy-punt
Sprint chomp
Slobber shield
These are some amazing ideas I can’t wait for the zombies
Me, too! The best part is designing mechs for the new imp variants.
there is a customization set in gw1 for chomper: chocolate set. It could be like the chocolate citron
The gold does look really nice on Choco-Tron, much better than 90% of the gold customizations in GW2 lol. I haven’t put much thought into customizations, but that could work!
i actually really like the pinata chomper concept even though it literally encourages suicide chomping
It’s a joke character lol. A balanced version would have him cast an explosion upon swallowing an enemy.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiastMake the on death explosion happen on swallows and its a pretty good character
@@frogchamp. I did exactly that in an unreleased supercut of all 4 variant videos! I made the gimmick as a partial joke (and comment engagement because it’s a horrible idea).

Thanks for your comments on the gw2 glitch videos, they saved me a lot of time and let me know if the glitch was worth it
No problem, I’m glad I helped!
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast
I assume the g o a t would be a variant of hovergoat if he gets in?
Good point!

Imagine if BFN had an event mode with low gravity, that would pain to fight citrons, all stars, or BB's in.
Good thing then! Of course, for the low-gravity variants I mentioned, they’d be harder to be launched like this.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast
Problems this could have (ironic isn't it)
Primary problems
BB's primary advantage that makes him so annoying and difficult to defeat without a squadron dedicated to hunting them down is amplified, letting them travel from one side of the map to the other without even needing HJT on rocky flats, (yes we're looking at this from team vanquish) daisy drive, and pressure pier.
Peashooters would be able to fly around with the high jump and hover, bombing everyone with combat adrenaline, all while hiding in the sky behind his team or directly above the enemy during team fights, making peashooter arguably more broken than BB.
Secondary:
An all star can run the follow through upgrade to launch you really far. Imagine you're playing on daisy drive, an all star tackles you, you're suddenly on the other side of the bridge.
If this gets onto turf, an engineer can run seismic/turbo charge to push everyone off the point or payload.
Similar deal with the following upgrades:
Quake
Slap back
Shove
Shockwave (both from FS, and z-mech)
Scuttle shot
Star struck
Chompers burrow is significantly less effective. (I'd call that one "thirdarary")
Good things:
Typhoon launches higher, making it deal less damage overall
Seeing people bunnyhop and try to airshot each other would be epic, especially in team fights where you see projectiles flying in random directions and would spawn a lot of low grav cactus/deadbeard quickscope clips
Drones would be much less safe from the danger, as some enemies now can attack it easier. Ex: SB, engineer
In turf, you can use this to find new sniping positions nobody's ever found yet, or take routes normally impossible without abilities

I've been typing for half an hour.
Help.
Edit: differences between our ideas:
Goopea: is a completely new elemental variant.
Maybe.
It’s never too late to share ideas!
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast True, True.
It probably would also be quite important to share some changes to already existing Variants. I know you covered some in previous videos, but some characters I feel should be changed in order to better fit together.
Ex: Allstar Class, Shadow Flower, Replacing Rock Pea with Primal Pea, etc.
@@makouski266I will be making a balance video, and I’m pretty scared because of how defensive people get about their mains.
These suns in particular though would not despawn for a looong time though, so allies will have plenty of time to scoop them up or just stumble across them after dust settles, or clutch up a fight.
ah, I see. Seems pretty good then! Even without the death drops, Ginger Sunflower's good anyway because they have a legendary mode.
honestly whenever I think of the Chocolate plants (Choco-tron and the Chocolate Chomper set from GW1) being separate variants, my mind goes to simply re-using the "muck" status effect from Moto-X Star and re-contextualizing it as chocolate
also if we're pitching our own variants, a vampiric Citron named the "Blood Orange" to make the Vampiric Upgrade less niche
I always thought of it as a lesser freeze effect to be honest. The blood orange idea is good though!
I have another foot-soldier variants idea.
A foot-soldier that use a shotgun instead of a assault rifle.
I love Sunshine Rocketteer and Ginger Sunflower both are really good idea but except not have ice Varient LOL that great idea for take costume from bfn in pvz gw3

(The blue sunflower costume from BFN)
whats with the 2 new classes we got in bfn the tv head and the dandelion, i like their conzept a lot and would love a return also any ideas abt hover goat and the fire stump (forgott their name -_-)
The swarm class variants will probably be other AI’s!
All star should get the Bowler, which has a charge shot that pierces multiple enemies, and and Boxer, which has melee attacks similar to super brains and increased life regen speed
Also, Gatling pea NEEDS to be a legendary peashooter variant that shoots a burst of 4 projectiles similar to super commando in gw1, doing less damage, of course. Threepeater also should be a burst peashooter variant.
I think a Leech would be better for the Imp since there's already Lil Drake. The Foot soldier could also be called the Squire Scout
The BFN classes will get variants, and they will have their own video!

So many of them were such great opportunities!
It probably would've had balancing issues if all costumes in BFN had special effects (toggleable of course) but, here are some ideas they could have put in there
Puppy chomper
Burrow cannot be canceled by any means
-50% speed while burrowing
Domino scientist
Enemies vanquished cause explosions, enemies hit by the explosions will also cause explosions to create a domino effect
-75% healing given and taken

75% armor in ball form
Hitting people in ball form deals 100 damage and deals knockback + stun

Reflecto brainz:
Replace Super ultra ball with "mirror ball"
Mirror ball gains additional damage worth of 50% damage taken

I have an interesting varriant idea for the All-Star zombie :
The Giga-Star :
He looks like a giga football zombie....
He has a legendary meter which works similar to the Party characters..It also overheats faster yet it does more damage
Nice!
i love pvz2's Goo Pea animation and generally love Bitey the chomp pizza manager so having those as varients would be amazing
Thanks!
Lets be honest, if there was gonna be a GW3, Popcap should use all your ideas
That would great!
Finally I am so excited to watch this ❤🎉
Enjoy!
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast I did ❤️! And are going to be new party variants?
@@Darlingdxva Maybe, but they’re pretty boring to talk about, as they’re “Stock character but with a legendary mode.”
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast It’s just because like only the new characters got a party character so I thought maybe party characters for the old characters too. Hey bro just woundering what server region you play on? I play on ps aswell and it would be cool to run into in a lobby.
Also great video, like the ideas
Thanks! I tend to switch around a lot, depending on how lobbies are.
I like your theories 🔥
Thanks!
Such a good video as always
Thanks :D
Also, really wished you added a pea that shoots music discs like the unused peashooter legendary upgrade from bfn
Oh yeah, that was a missed opportunity.
I only just now realized how similar thorn apart looks to homing soulmass from dark souls
I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the inspiration!
Another master piece from you
Thank you!
I had an idea for a Rose variant called Imitater Rose
Imitater Rose would, for all intents and purposes, be identical to the standard Rose save for slightly lower damage, but she would lack Goatify or Time Snare (or whatever abilities you may replace those with).
Sounds a lot like the rose from the loads of variants mod!

Damn, these ideas are so cool. if only there was a company that implemented these changes
I know right. And mods won’t be as effective anymore…
Very nice variants!
Also could rename the title to "part four: New Plant Variants"
Can i be honest?confetti chomper looks absolutely weak
The gimmick of the chomper is that it explodes dealing 50 damage in a short range but it have only 125 health
First in a 1v1 every other class would try to vanquish the chomper far away,so the ability is useless and he have 50 less health, the only classes that will have to get closer are the supar brainz and scientis, but still very easy to kill a little far away
Also you said it was gonna be a short range,so even if the chomper get closer to they the explode can still don't damage them and make uselles
+ having less health and explode when die will just encourage the usage of kamikaze chompers
I think you should give a buff to it
I changed his ability to cause an explosion when he successfully swallows another zombie, and his chomp will be more shotgun-like than others. He will basically be the textbook example of low skill, low reward, which I feel is necessary to shooter games.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast good rework, but that might encourage kamikaze chompers but much better
Ideas i had were
1. Singer chomper wich had the attack of the sound ingenier
2. Cactus with the charge thing from BFN
3. Disco pea wich would have a meter and shoot disco balls/peas
4. A blood orange wich would be another vampire type plant, he would shoot like he does in BFN and would regain like 5% of health that his shield would have taken
5. Shogun corn wich would get the shogun from BFN and would be slower when his shield is active
6. Berry pea to replace rock pea cause rock pea is bad
7. Submarine chomper wich could fire sonar goop or have spike weed that reveal locations and when his bar fills up for 30 seconds a sonar would reveal the location of every ennemie in like a radius of 1/4 of the objectif range every 6 seconds
8. Moonflower it would be a sunflower that the heal rey would be halfed and would give a small strenght boost like overgoat, could be a legendary
9. Sonar cactus
Thats all the plants idea that i have, i will reply to this comment with the zombie ideas
1. Buff Brains, he would get the charged punch from BFN, be tankier and instead of a cape it would be tatoos on his back
2. Cowboy imp, he would replace z7 as the trigger character and the zmech would be like the mettalic bulls from pvz2, the bull could has its own meter called rodeo time where it would get a speed boost and the eject button you could kinda aim where your imp gets ejected
3. Captain Nordic, a viking pirate that shoots ice projectiles
4. A pirate with the charge meter from BFN
5. An ingenier that has the boundy projectiles from BFN
6. Scientist with the steam BFN upgrade
7. Pest imp, an imp with poison damage and the zmech looks like some castle dark ages style
8. Rocket ingenier, an ingenior that would have tank commando projectiles but would go straight
9. Paintball foot soldier with splash
10. Catch Brainz, a super brains that when hes in the air, could attack to drop down on the plants
11. Clinical scientist, a scientist with better heals less, attacks and legendary ability activated by reviving allies
12. Geologist, scientist with a detonation projectile but it feels weird
13. Childish imp, has the attack of pharaoh flower and his zmech is a toy robot, abilities to figure out
14. Kung fu brains, he would kick instead of punch and could charge his kick to do a round house kick that pushes away plants
15. Water polo star, would either shoot some splash attack or shoot bouncy projectiles like BFN ingenier

For the tv head zombie he could get diffrent classes based on pvz2
1. Tv head would get the explosive imp from modern day
2. Frost head, would have his head frozrn and throw snowballs, hed get yeti imp
3. Bikini/diver zombie, could be a sonar attack and would have octo imp wich would do 10 damage but the plants would have an octopus that would be stopping them from moving and needed to be dealt 90 damage from normal attacks to get off them
3. Fire archer, a dark age zombie with a fire bow and arrow, would have the dragon imp wich inflicts fire dammage
4. Explorer zombie, lost world zombie with an imp thats carried by a dragon fly
5. Western zombie, revolver and the imp leaves a stink cloud from eating a bean, he would have a party mode with the piano song
6. Punk zombie, his close range attarck pushes back plants, the impunk would do an effect like the roadie z but stays longer or stuns plants, not on grounded chomper, he gets punk mode where he goes faster and can ram into plants like ingenier in his jackhammer, it would do like 5 dammage
7. Pharaoh zombie with snake poison arrows and the imp does a poison dammage too

Will you do a vid on specificaly the BFN variants?
less go new part is outttt
It’s about time!

Y’know, I think people REALLY missuse chomper. In GW1, there was a tip that said he was meant to sneak up on zombies (like a stealth class), but with his abilities, I feel like he’s meant to be used like how a spider acts like in real life.
Chomper ensnares zombies in its webs (spike weed)
When you know something is approaching, you can hide and become near invisible if you stay still (burrow)
If you need to catch up to your prey, you can slow them (goop)
With all of this, he can act like a counter to engineer (despite engineer being a chomper counter)

Variant idea: lunar eclipse
A sunflower with 50 health, 2x revive speed, and 3x heal rate. Her primary is a homing shot that targets allies to heal the for 2 health (6 because of tripled healing), it deals no damage. She can't equip the normal sunbeams, instead she gets a unique one that fires like the cannon rodeo, healing a large area of plants for 5 health at once (15 because again, tripled healing)
This means the dark flower is her only defense should she be caught without her allies to protect her.

Probably
Funny? Yes, very
Plus this can belp with balancing as now you can vote to have more numbers than them and traumatize them to force them to go easier next game.
If you leave during your mark, everyone gains 10,000 coins off your GW3 bank account.
I don’t think that would be great for a variety of reasons:
Ex: diamond rank chasing no rank = doesn't count
Number 2: Check if the victim is doing particularly well compared to everyone else, being moderately toxic, cocky for their rank, ETC. If yes, this works as per normal. If no, the voting won't start.
Number 3 is a good point
Number 4: add a cooldown to it (This cooldown is ignored and the effect is amplified in the case of "known skids", disabling their weapons and abilities, as well as banning them for 3 months after the truce is over)
This could also apply to people that just aren't learning their lesson and getting marked consistently.
Ice Sunflower
Rarity: Super Rare
Weapon: Ice Pulse
Ammo: 65
Health: 110
that cheesy transition was clean tbh
Thanks, I did the best I could with that video, as I made it before I switched to the new editing software!
Renames for them to fit the Garden Warfare naming system:
Cyber Pea
Goo Pea
Pinata Chomper
Delivery Chomper
Astro Flower
Ginger Flower
Cactiraffe (same)
Ancient Corn
Wrapped Corn
Choco Citron
Citronaut (same)
Celestial Rose
Peace Rose (same)
Naming stuff to fit where it would work is always hard. But good job with these!
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast Thank you
I would love to see the jack in the box zombie, balloon zombie, and other pvz 1 guys
Balloon zombie could be an npc enimie
Pole vaulting zombie could be a boss
Jack in the box could be a demoman
How bout a twin chomper that bites in bursts of two and has a burst fire slobber shot
Maybe instead of explosions when you die its on enemies? Idk having to die for one of the main benefits of a variant seems very weak.
10:10 also i dont know if this was implied but the effect should definitely be heavily affected by range so you cant just sit in the back and use a homing attack to ruin a zombies day
Retroactively I changed it to have an explosion occur around you when you successfully swallow an enemy!
Great Ep. 4 of this series. I’ve commented and liked all of them so far.
Much appreciated!
I think we'll soon get a fan made GW3
There are plenty of cool GW2 mods in the meantime, I suggest checking them out!
Hey. I’ve been really enjoying your gw3 ideas videos and I recently just subscribed. I really like some of your classes Ideas and I want to share my thoughts on them. (I might say some negative things but don’t take them to seriously)
Future Crop: ok I get that it’s supposed to be a sniper class but No damage drop and slower projectile speed just doesn’t mix IMO and the lower splash just pretty makes him a worse version of Reg pea. I would remove the damage drop off and replace it with a faster fire rate like landscaper. But hey I like the L. Meter idea
3/10
Goo Pea: honestly solid idea. I would definitely like to use a spore mist pea
9/10
Chomper piñata: I just feel like just having 125 hit points is unnecessary but a pretty interesting gimmick
5/10
Pizza Chomper: honestly pretty cool concept. The only thing I would change is him having faster movement speed. (Also make so he has to swallow 3 zombies instead 4 or 5)
9/10
Sunshine Rocketeer: honestly cool and unique concept nothing to really complain about
10/10
Gingersunflower: another cool concept (someone already commented this but I would only change her having revive 5 plants to get her legendary mode)
10/10
Citrus Cactus:…….. of course a lot of us want her back
10/10
Giraffe Cactus: um.. considering cactus has an ability that can get her up to high places that seem unnecessary but points for creativity
2/10
Tank Corn: what the heck I like a good single shot character
8/10
Wrapping corn: Arctic trooper 2.0
8/10
Chocolate Citron: basically Toxic citron but with splash and fire damage
9/10
Citronaut: Two words SPACE BALLERS
0/10
Just kidding good concept but really space ballers
8/10
Celestial beauty: recycled concept but I love the legendary mode idea
8/10
Peace Rose: Eat dirt you house camping soldiers and pirates
9/10
Honestly great concepts and I might do this again for your other class idea videos.
Ok lemme spoil the next dumb video
Soldier:
Human cannon skin: Super rare variant with a weaker version of reg foot primary in terms of damage and ROF but in return you get a special mobility ability called rocket charge
Basically a rocket leap but with damaging hitbox and more horizontal speed deals 50 damage to any unfortunate veggie in your track
Total terminator: legendary variant following the same formula of getting 5 legit kills from you not by sheards
Primary name:Z-5 pulsator
14 bullets
110 RBM
Shoot purple orbs at speed of 300m/s that deal 20 and loses damage to 14 from far range these funny orbs if hits the enemy it ll attach to it dealing continuous 1 damage at the speed of stink cloud rate of fire it lasts for 4 seconds can be stacked
Legendary mode name:Total violation
Buffs:RoF boost you shoot at 240 instead of 120 and you get 11 extra bullets in your clip for 30 seconds along with 25% armor
These orbs ll never activate passive if hit on objects must be on the enemies
I could afford more ideas but I am busy sorry
Nice ideas! I already have my FS variants planned out though…
I have soldier variants ideas:
A soldier dress up as a chef and has pop-smart launcher with act like peashooter primary. His name is
Mr. Zorden.
Zorden RamZay! Unfortunately, the next video is already recorded, so I won’t be able to include it here. You can expect it tomorrow, though!
I only found out about this video today. Anyway, GW4.
I actually only have two points of contention this time:
-Why the Rocket Chomper (Pizza delivery) doesn't have the ranged attack (if it's too OP just make it weaker), unless I misunderstood what you meant.
@@DarkestMarlin74 That could work too!
I have a variant idea called the speedster variants: these plants and zombies
Move , shoot or reload fast sometimes all but have low health or damage or sometimes both.
Basically the opposite of armor variants
Like Hotrod Chomper?
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast yeah...I guess so.
There could be a future foot-soldier fire's Lazer beam like citron and shrimp imp mech
Instead of bullets.
@@ibbimoon9456 I actually have a charge-up beam-like soldier written down in the script!
That's cool to hear.
Could you code this as a demo or something? I know you are probably going to say no or something but its worth asking
I have absolutely zero experience in GW2 modding, but I may if I have the time or competence.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast neither do i but if this stuff was a mod then i would love it
how could i have missed this...
Well, you saw it eventually!
5:23 this is hilarious
Funnily enough, I made this video right before I switched editing software, so this is where I found my stride only to leave and start over lol
i got 2 variant ideas for zombies. they are special rarity
Z-65 Medic
class: scientist
weapon: fires a laser rifle with 2 variants: a scoped, precise laser cannon or a precise raygun that can be used when hipfiring
you can use the weapon to heal teammates
scoped version deals 15 damage or healing, 18 damage or healing on headshot, and the scoped version can be charged up to deal 5 extra healing/damage and apply a speed buff to teammates or speed debuff to enemies
special attributes: cannot be goatified and has 25 extra health (this is a robotic character)
special ability: replacing the sticky balls, you can deploy a turret that pumps out healing and damage. the turret has a leveling system, and will improve its health, healing, and damage while also gaining extra abilites like being able to apply damage resistance to teammates or being able to do mini air strikes like the bamboo shoot
Warrior Brainz
class: superhero
weapon: sword that swings at the rate of toxic brainz's punches
deals 25 damage on hit but has a 10% chance to crit and deal 2x damage with a 0.4 second stun, along with a RPG critical hit sound
beam: pull out a bow and arrow. shots can be charged up and and arrows that you pull out have a random chance to be enchanted with like fire and ice for example.
special ability: pull out your shield and deflect incoming hits back at enemies
shield can withstand 275 damage before busting and stunning warrior brainz for 2 seconds
special attributes: has 50 extra health, moves 10% slower, and the super ultra ball ability are revamped into a version where you shoot arrows infused with power. you can choose from the 3 different super ultra balls as arrows that do the same thing
the revamp aims to make the ability much more precise (the splash damage and radius are severely reduced) but much more rewarding on hit
can also headshot
i hope you liked these ideas
me and my friend took some time and came up with them
I’d definitely want to workshop a some of these, mainly the Warrior SB, as the last thing a shooter game needs is an RNG character. I’d make the crits work more on a skill-based system, where you could properly weapon-combo people and you feel good while doing it.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast me and my friend actually had a combo system in mind, but i figured that might be too complicated
if u want a idea of what i mean, you could do your punches but then do certain inputs for random stuff
ex: you could be punching someone but when your about to finish the combo, you can flick your camera joystick up to uppercut them and then have a eagle hit em or smth
idk we aren't sure about the balancing, but we want cool ideas
@@TheMaster-s2b I’m sure I could do something with it!
Despite, everything it’s not tts. (The kind of voice that can slam jokes harder than swoop slam, and faster the GW2 sunflowers try to mercy main people.)
I guess I’m not LT Dark Ring…
2:40
Oh wow, a new meaning to suicide chomper, how exciting 😒
Lol, I made him a joke character. If I were to take him seriously, when he successfully swallows an enemy he “explodes” (non-fatally), dealing the damage.
For an imp variant it can be like the tank commander but with 2 shots for each gun. Also can you do a vid on the gw3 maps
I’m not an expert in map design, but I could!
Nice
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast
Just in case you ha e trouble with map design ideas: all the maps in GW1 (except wall-nu hills, that s--t can f--k off somewhere) are loved quite prominently because they're very vertical, lots of high ground to take advantage of, and several routes you can take to push the enemy.
2:50 best s**c*de chomper
I made him like that as a joke lol
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast it actually sounds good for it’s gimmick if you don’t have Rough Patch applied
Hey , would you like to have some ability idea's specifically for foot-Soldier and peashooter.
If yes , I will reply you with some.
That will be its own video in the future, and yes, I have a couple!
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiastok.
But I will give you some just in case.
Foot-soldier:
Idea for foot Soldier three new alternatives ability for 1-ability AKA the Zombie stink cloud.
Peashooter:
Idea for peashooter three new alternatives ability for 1-ability AKA the chili bean bomb.
1- super spicy Bean: upon exploding set
The ground on fire for 3 sec in a 8m or 6m radius but the explosion does 75 damage.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast so what do you think.
So the chomper is just a kamikaze chomper
I was waiting for this comment lol. I wanted to see how people react.
@@TwilightChomperEnthusiast look what you've done. You'll make people suicide burrow even more now!
Hi my man I am currently in training of gaming development idk How long its going to take to finis my class but we can colab if I get done and make gw3
Neat! That could be a possibility!
