- Scoring the ball is the thing that prevents Rodman from being on the lists where double doubles or any other achievements that include points are the stat in question. However, the 16 points from this night at the Charlotte Coliseum allow him to be one of the seven people who have had a 15-point/30-rebound game since 1983-84, per Basketball-Reference (Kevin Willis is the only player with two such performances). At this point it was Rodman's first 30-rebound game, though, he later recorded four more and set a new career-high of 34 rebounds in a game against the Indiana Pacers.
Even though not every single rebound is included in the compilation, some of the seemingly easy grabs are interesting to look at because of the way Rodman hunts them down. He definitely had a habit of leaving his man early to secure that additional rebound. Yet that doesn't take away from the fact that he would have ten other rebounds where he won improbable battles against larger human beings with irrepressible effort and that fantastic re-jumpability of his. The outlet passes he throws and the fast breaks he leads after his rebounds are also invaluable. Obviously, there also had to be a shoving match of some sort. January 28, 1992. Спорт
32 rebounds. thats crazy. he done his job really well.
Lets remember that Dennis was only about 6´7 ft and only weighed around 225 lbs. Pure hustle, timing, positioning, boxing out and rebounding instinct!
he was 6'6 and at this young stage he was maybe 205... later with bulls at 35-37 y old he was 220....
@@dodododes he is 6'8 I met him. My brother is 6'7 Rodman was slightly taller.
@@yujirohanma9337 Jordan said he is 6'6 ... Ill go with Jordan
@@yujirohanma9337 he was probably wearing heels
Pippen is taller than rodman
So unique
It requires so much energy and dedication to fight for positions under the basket. And obviously even more when you are undersized! My god he was going for every miss.
Nobody had more energy or dedication to rebounding then Rodman.
greatest defensive player ever..
After Russel
I wouldn't say the best defender, but I would say the best rebounder!
@@Syrtgsvs who's the greatest defender then lol? Because wilt Chamberlain probably was a better rebounder but you could say dennis was a better defender
@@Syrtgsvs Him and Pettit are def the best rebounding forwards in history
@@abs1532 you haven’t dumbass
Falls on photographers. Comes back to the game. Shots a three pointer. Nails it. Fucking love that part xD
He's just relentless
This is what I've been waiting for, can't wait to see more Bad Boys highlights
At the Palace, one fan had a "Rodman's Rebounds" banner and would hang an R each time he got one. In this season, that string of R's would go on and on and on. Rodman was special.
Triple-Doubles and rebounds were still hard back in those days... The physicality in the paint was still real. Semi-lucky for him in this matchup, LJ was a shorter PF, but so was Rodman.
Awesome channel, nice work
"I wanna work for my living." I love this man and his mentality
Could dominate a game without scoring a point!
Jill Conner all day
the WORM was superb player
Rodman is the only nba player who everytime when he shoot 3 point.. Go in... The whole stadium cheer louder than the game win😂😂😂😂
Rodman RULEZ!!
Rodman had dedication that not many players have
interesting how muggsy and the other guy tried to help dennis up.
i thought they were the bad boys lol
They were done by then and their reputation had withered away, especially as the Bulls were the team to beat now
Rare game!!
Even though Dennis Rodman is only 6 feet 5 1/2 inches tall without a shoe, he is still rebounding over many taller players and rebounded 32 in that video game. :-o :-o :-o
I remember when Rodman went on this rebounding tear. For a guy with lousy hands, he had an uncanny ability to tip the ball to himself. He had legs like pogo sticks and could just keep jumping until the other guy gave up.
Never heard anyone say "lousy hands". Considering his passing in the triangle and on breaks along with all those tips being part of having good hands, i disagree big time
Oh shit, Rodman landing on photographers!
1:39 4:40 Steph Curry’s dad
Not Tryin To Brag “Rodman” along with Barkley & Olajuwon were my favorite players..
32 REBOUNDS?! O_o
He mever looked tired. What is he eating!
did you know that after a match, he used to work out one hour more? it was just sick the energy that this guy had.
Rodman's work ethic was just unbelieveable.. He had jordan's respect ON the field
Thats fucking crazy at only 6'7 and the game being way more tuff and physical then
Does anyone else ever think about an alternate universe where Rodman was on the first three peat Bulls?
Damn Isiah was throwing bricks
Good for the Pistons that Steph's Daddy was bricking everywhere too... At least in this clip... 😂
this guy coulda been somebody......
5:00 this whole sequence
How the hell does one man get 32 rebounds?
Hard work and an opposing team that sucks at rebounding
@@RoninWaffle
Rodman would kill every big man in today's nba even a healthy Damarcus Cousins
The "WORM" baby
at 6’6-6’7 this is insane
Rodman was really like a player in 2k sports with applied cheat mode .. Unbelievable..!!!
Wat cheat code
Rip Orlando Woolridge
RODMAN SHOWTIME
Amazing
Back when you could actually touch people without a foul. I miss it.
The "WORM" baby
He averaged a 10/19 on 56% shooting that year. That's outrageous to think about.
Where’s Zo
That was prime Rodman
rebounds into turnovers should not count as rebounds.
This is Goat shit

the font used in this game is cringy
It's the same font they would use in the credits of some TV shows during that time. It's called The 90s
